Abstract

Employee engagement and its impact on organizational performance have received significant attention over the past two decades. This research delves into the factors that influence the impact of employee engagement on IBISMA's performance as a non-profit organization. It explores the various organizational factors that influence and shape employee engagement. The researchers adopted a qualitative research methodology. An inductive approach was employed to conduct interviews, allowing for a deeper understanding of the factors that affect employee engagement. The resulting data was then subjected to thematic analysis for further examination. The main findings of the study reveal a clear understanding of the factors that influence the impact of employee engagement that lead to performance of IBISMA. It has been identified in this research that diminished levels of engagement significantly impact employee commitment and motivation. Several factors contribute to the observed decline in employee engagement, including job design, ineffective communication practices, workplace culture, insufficient recognition-based rewards, and career growth and development. Based on the findings above, suggested recommendations are made in order to increase engagement at IBISMA through weekly strategic discussions, establish a robust and consistent communication system, establish a reward and recognition system to motivate and encourage work engagement, and establish a performance evaluation system for better engagement. Abstract

Abstract This study navigates the intricate landscape of corporate finance within publicly traded Indonesian companies, aiming to comprehensively grasp their financial health. A holistic approach merges quantitative analyses of annual accounts with qualitative insights from corporate finance, focusing on unraveling the nuanced relationship between financing techniques and financial performance indicators, considering diverse variables such as industry characteristics and company sizes. Employing robust methodologies including regression analysis, correlation analysis, and panel data analysis, the study uncovers significant trends. Noteworthy findings include a burgeoning reliance on debt financing, the emergence of hybrid financing structures, and industry-specific variations in financing preferences. The positive correlation between equity financing and profitability aligns seamlessly with agency theory, underlining its potential for aligning management interests with long-term value creation. Meanwhile, the nuanced impact of debt financing emphasizes the imperative for companies to delicately balance the benefits and risks associated with financial leverage. Implications derived from the research extend practical advice to industry practitioners, emphasizing the need for tailored financing strategies, strengthened corporate governance, and industry-specific considerations. Policymakers are encouraged to play a pivotal role in fostering equity market development, implementing responsible regulatory measures, and championing transparency in financial reporting. This research not only contributes to the existing financial literature by enriching academic discourse but also provides actionable insights for businesses navigating the intricate terrain of corporate finance in Indonesia.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate the impact of investor sentiment on value and stocks return. Two investor sentiment indicators, volatility index VIX and sentiment index are used as independent variables. Technical proxies (relative strength index, psychological line index, trading volumes and adjusted turnover rate) are used to construct sentiment index using principal component analysis. The dependent variable is value and growth stocks return formed based on the book to market ratio. Three Fama-French factors are used as control variables to isolate the impact of investor sentiment from systematic risk and fundamental factors. We use companies listed on Kompas 100 index over the sample period February 2017-January 2023. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling and obtained 45 companies as the research samples. The empirical analysis employs multiple regression analysis using 1.385 daily time series computed by Microsoft Excel and Stata 13. The regression results indicate that volatility index VIX has a negative significant effect on value and growth stocks return. Sentiment index has a positive and significant effect on value stocks return but does not have a significant effect on growth stocks return. Investor sentiment has a greater effect on value stocks than growth stocks.

Abstract

MSMEs in the food business, especially in Indonesia, encounter major obstacles in adhering to food safety requirements because of their restricted resources and technical knowledge. This study investigates the effects of applying Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) methodology on enhancing food safety standards at a particular MSME, Desi Kue, situated in Bandar Lampung, Indonesia. The study uses surveys, interviews, and hazard analysis assessments to identify potential dangers and suggest effective management techniques to improve food safety processes at Desi Kue. Customized education and training programs are crucial for enhancing awareness and comprehension of food safety among MSME stakeholders. The report emphasizes the importance of adjusting food safety policies and resources to tackle the specific difficulties encountered by MSMEs. MSMEs can effectively adopt HACCP principles by working with regulatory organizations and industry associations. This will help improve consumer trust, ensure public health, and promote sustainable growth in the food sector. This study offers significant insights for Desi Kue and MSMEs in Indonesia and other developing countries, enabling them to capitalize on prospects for competitiveness and growth in the global market by implementing strong food safety management systems.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of TikTok influencers on consumer purchase intentions, focusing on Scarlet Whitening products. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data was collected via survey methods from TikTok users familiar with Scarlet Whitening products. Analysis revealed a significant correlation between TikTok influencers' endorsements and customer purchase intentions, highlighting the influencers' substantial role in shaping consumer behavior. The findings underscore the importance of considering social media influencers in contemporary marketing strategies, particularly for businesses in sectors like cosmetics and beauty. Academically, this study contributes to understanding digital-age consumer behavior, while practically, it offers insights for enhancing marketing plans through strategic influencer collaborations.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe, explain about consumer behavior assolo’ the wedding event in Suku Kajang in perspective maslahah. This research is qualitative research, the type of research is field research and using an ethnographic approach method. The data collection methods used were observation and interviews. The research results show that consumer behavior assolo' the wedding event in the Kajang Tribe in perspective maslahah namely: 1) pregnant maslahah in the form of maintaining honor and self-respect/say',2) pregnant Maslahah in the form of taawwun values ​​and the embodiment of friendship, and 3) containsThe Value of Maslahah as a Means of Transaction, Distribution of Wealth and Welfare of Property Ownership.So starting from the description above, it can be understood that consumer behavior assolo' the wedding event in the Kajang Tribe in perspective maslahah directly maintain the objectives of Sharia'. Because considering the benefit dimension, besides that assolo' People hold wedding ceremonies to make it easier for them to live their lives, and to keep them away from the negative stigma of society's views.

The purpose of this research is to determine the importance of ethics in research. The method used in this research uses PRISMA where the steps in searching for data consist of identification, screening, eligibility and inclusion. , with data sources Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and the Diva portal. Researchers need procedures and ethics that can monitor and ensure they remain in the correct and safe areas. What is no less important is critical and reflexive thinking and actions during research. policymakers should revisit guidance on research ethical vulnerabilities, and we suggest that a stakeholder engagement process would greatly aid that work

Abstract

In the era of globalization, the business world often faces many challenges. Challenges that often occur in companies that consist of individuals with different cultural backgrounds. This diversity, can provide benefits in the form of various perspectives and ideas from each employee of the team. But it can also pose challenges in terms of communication and collaboration. In addition, the increasingly fierce competition between companies encourages teams to innovate in order to survive and excel in the market. To encourage team innovation and creativity, adaptive leadership plays an important role. Writing this article using a literature study (literature review), this method uses previous research that is reviewed. The results of the study of adaptive leadership are leadership that is able and intelligent to deal with situations in a diversity of events by developing creative solutions. leaders with adaptive qualities motivate their followers/subordinates to welcome new things, increase confidence in decision making and face challenging situations. Companies often experience many challenges both internally and externally. To face these challenges, a leader who is able to adapt and motivate his employees to be more confident in their opinions is needed. Through this, companies can increase innovation and creativity in competition between companies and can achieve the desired goals.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of transformational leadership, work environment, and organizational culture on employee loyalty at PT Sucofindo (Persero) Padang Branch. Quantitative methods are used to analyze data collected through questionnaires distributed to company employees. The results of the analysis show that transformational leadership and work environment have a positive and significant influence on employee loyalty, with the better the application of these two factors, the higher the level of employee loyalty. However, the effect of organizational culture on employee loyalty is not statistically significant although positive. This research provides important insights for company management in understanding the factors that can increase employee loyalty, in the hope that it can provide a basis for developing more effective management strategies in maintaining a positive relationship between the company and its employees. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional, lingkungan kerja, dan budaya organisasi terhadap loyalitas karyawan di PT. Sucofindo (Persero) Cabang Padang. Metode kuantitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis data yang dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada karyawan perusahaan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional dan lingkungan kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas karyawan, dengan semakin baiknya penerapan kedua faktor tersebut, semakin tinggi tingkat loyalitas karyawan. Namun, pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap loyalitas karyawan tidak signifikan secara statistik meskipun positif. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang penting bagi manajemen perusahaan dalam memahami faktor-faktor yang dapat meningkatkan loyalitas karyawan, dengan harapan dapat memberikan dasar bagi pengembangan strategi manajemen yang lebih efektif dalam memelihara hubungan positif antara perusahaan dan karyawannya. The study also explores the role of investor sentiment in shaping market perceptions and the strategic implications for firms in managing dividend policies amidst market uncertainties. Insights from this research provide actionable recommendations for firms and policymakers to optimize dividend policies, enhance shareholder value, and foster a conducive investment environment. Abstrak Penelitian ini menggali hubungan penting antara kebijakan dividen dan nilai perusahaan, menganalisis dinamika yang rumit yang memengaruhi sentimen investor dan manajemen keuangan strategis. Melalui analisis komprehensif data empiris dan kerangka teoritis, penelitian ini mengkaji dampak keputusan kebijakan dividen terhadap kekayaan pemegang saham dan persepsi pasar. Temuan utama menyoroti pentingnya menyelaraskan kebijakan dividen dengan tujuan keuangan jangka panjang, mengoptimalkan rasio pembayaran, dan meningkatkan transparansi dan komunikasi dengan investor. Penelitian ini juga mengeksplorasi peran sentimen investor dalam membentuk persepsi pasar dan implikasi strategis bagi perusahaan dalam mengelola kebijakan dividen di tengah ketidakpastian pasar. Temuan dari penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi yang dapat dilaksanakan bagi perusahaan dan pembuat kebijakan untuk mengoptimalkan kebijakan dividen, meningkatkan nilai pemegang saham, dan menciptakan lingkungan investasi yang kondusif.
