Abstract

In today's era, innovation in any case is a demand. No exception innovating in a processed product. Solokuro village is one of the villages in Lamongan district. Oyster mushroom itself is not a new food ingredient for local residents. Although most of them are rice and corn farmers, some are farming oyster mushrooms. One of them is Jaya Mulia Solokuro (JMS) as one of the SMEs in Solokuro village that cultivates oyster mushrooms, and has partners in the cultivation and marketing of oyster mushrooms themselves. JMS only sells oyster mushrooms to traders, shop owners or other partners. Although sometimes the harvest of oyster mushrooms is abundant, the farmers only focus on selling mushrooms. With limited insight in the processing of oyster mushrooms, the team of writers motivated to do community service through this training. This training was attended by 62 residents on 27 August 2021 at the Solokuro village hall. The purpose of this training is to provide insight and explore the potential of the surrounding community to be more innovative, especially in terms of processing oyster mushrooms. From the results of the study, it is showed that the Solokuro village community can increase their creativity in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic not only strike people health, but it also affects the economic aspect. The pandemic also hit the MSMEs, especially ESM Collection, which have decreasing selling due to it only running in the offline store. Not having online marketing media, lack of skill and knowledge in utilizing social media for marketing strategy are the main issues that ESM Collection faces. This community service activity aims to help ESM Collection to overcome its difficulties. Those issues were solved through training and mentoring in using social media Instagram to do online marketing and content marketing strategy. This event is divided into three steps. Firstly, is developing a training guidebook, secondly training to use the marketing application and evaluate it. Lastly is mentoring. Instagram training is given to ESM Collection staff in two days, and mentoring is one month. The result of this event is the guidebook helps the participants to follow the training, and the training method can increase their knowledge to use Instagram as marketing media. Furthermore, through mentoring participants can upgrade their skill to implementing content strategy on Instagram. All in all, ESM Collection now can utilize Instagram as their online marketing media to apply the content marketing strategy to widen their market and increase their sales.

Abstract

Small and medium enterprises (SME) are one of the biggest economic contributors to Indonesia. Through the abundant product potential and 64.19 million people involved, a solution is needed to increase income. Digital marketing implementation using e-commerce is the best way. To make this happen, researchers collaborate with the Department of Industry and Trade of Malang Regency. With the division unit, namely IKM Agro, training on e-commerce implementation was made to increase the competitiveness of 270 IKM which had made 400 products. IKM Agro assisted products already have attractive packaging, product standardization and halal certification. However, some products have less selling power because they still use conventional sales such as exhibitions and shops. The purpose of this service is to maximize the role of SME actors by implementing product sales through e-commerce. And make the products of SME actors able to reach millions of Indonesian customers and international markets. With this activity, 88% of SMEs benefit from the use of marketing technology as an effort to increase income and improve product competitiveness.

Abstract

Kuro Potret is a Small Medium Entreprise (SME) located in Sidoarjo which is engaged in photography and videography services. Until now Kuro Potret SME only does marketing through social media, and has problems marketing its services. To make purchase order for photography or videography services, a customer must still have to contact and meet directly with this SME, then the SME will record service orders and schedule their services manually. Based on these problems, a website-based marketing application is needed for Kuro Potret SME, which can record and schedule photography service orders. The method used in implementing this marketing application is direct training to the community as the end user in Kuro Potret SME teams. The results achieved are: From the Kuro Potret SME side, the satisfaction level of using the application is 90% while 10% states that the application needs to be equipped with better training modules. But from the consumer side of the 30 application users, 80% of marketing application users find it helpful to get to know the Kuro Potret SME more closely, 20% of application users say that the appearance still needs to be improved. From 80% of users, 25% order photography services to this SME.

Abstract

Candidates for Undergraduate Service (KSM-Thematic) are a substitute for Real Work Lectures (KKN-PPM). It has been carried out since the Covid-19 pandemic which aims to provide students with experiences for the community. The major changes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic have resulted in people experiencing several new habits that must be accepted and carried out continuously. The experience of students so far is felt to be able to have a positive impact on the community. However, unlike KKN-PPM, this time the service is aimed at areas affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The KSM-Thematic activities that have been carried out are 1) inviting male students and the community for community service, 2) distributing free masks to students and the community, 3) boosting the economy at the madinatul ulum Islamic boarding school by holding training for cooperative management, 4) majlis taklim routine sholawat and tahlil together and train fluency in reading the Qur'an by teaching TPQ. On the basis of the activities that have been carried out, the KSM-Thematic Islamic University of Malang has a stimulus to improve the cognitive, moral and social stages of students and the community of the madinatul ulum Islamic boarding school in Selowogo village.

Abstract

There are so many advantages of the PBL-based STREAM approach if it is implemented in the ECE curriculum. However, no matter how great a learning approach is, without a well-understood teacher regarding its theoretical basis and how to apply it, then this approach will not give any meaning. For this reason, teachers see the need to receive training so that they are skilled in applying the STREAM-PBL approach to the PAUD curriculum. This training is a form of community service which is carried out in a blended way through online meetings using zoom meetings and offline meetings. The purpose of this training is to provide insight and skills related to the implementation of the STREAM-PBL approach in the PAUD curriculum. This training was attended by PAUD teachers who became partners in the implementation of PPLSP and the tri dharma of the UPI Campus PGPAUD study program in Cibiru. The results of this training activity indicate an increase in teachers' understanding regarding the implementation of the STREAM-PBL approach in the PAUD curriculum. Teachers believe that the STREAM-PBL approach has great potential to stimulate children's creativity and other aspects of development.

Abstract

One of the strategies to be able to help the tourism industry players, especially marine tourism which is the main potential of the Indonesian tourism industry, is more emphasized on the ability to identify various development possibilities. Therefore, this community service activity is carried out by implementing a series of processes starting from identifying threats and opportunities from the external side as well as weaknesses and strengths on the internal side to the elaboration of community-based tourism development. The series of processes include observation and problem identification, analysis and formulation of tourism development strategies. This community service activity was carried out in the Green Bay Beach Tourism area in Banyuwangi Regency, East Java. This method of implementing community activities is focused on formulating a tourism development strategy based on a Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threat (SWOT) analysis. This community service activity resulted in several recommendations for tourism development in the Green Bay Beach Tourism area. The results of the strategy formulation from this activity can be continued in a more holistic community service activity scheme in order to provide insight and knowledge regarding the development of tourism area strategies.

Abstract

Outdoor Education is education that has programs in order to develop the potential that exists in society. The reading garden in Nagari Kajbaru has been put to good use by the community, the reason being the large collection of books in the Community Reading Center (TBM), the existence of complete supporting facilities, thus the aims of this research are (1) to describe the use of TBM as a learning center by school-age children (2) describe the use of TBM as a learning center by the RT (3) describe the use of TBM as a learning center by farmer groups. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a population of 51 people and 25 people as a sample. The data collection technique in this study was a questionnaire with percentage data analysis. The results of the study show that the description of TBM utilization includes (1) TBM has been properly utilized by school children as a learning center (2) TBM has been utilized properly by RT mothers as a learning center (3) TBM has been utilized properly by members of farmer groups as learning center.

Abstract

The application of a digital-based Marketing Communication Strategy is one strategy to help MSMEs rise from the pandemic. This activity takes place in 3 initial stages starting from identification to the initial  introduction of digital marketing tools. The three stages include problem identification and observation,  MSME motivation, and Digital Marketing Strategy. The result of this activity is an initial design or social media-based digital marketing design. The object of the activity is the Kali Jegles Stren MSME group which is domiciled in Kediri and operates in the culinary and craft sectors. The MSME group really feels the  impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, but that does not mean MSMEs must continue to suffer losses even to the point of going out of business. The results of the initial design of this activity can be continued back into a larger activity scheme by providing knowledge and mastery related to Pricing Strategy, Selling Strategy, Retaining Customers, and Profit Taking Strategy.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to assist SMEs Sari Delight Surabaya to solf the problems they face in running their business effectively and schive the target. Some of the problems faced include capitalization, decreased sales, distribution, decreased production, difficulty in raw materials, and difficulty in selling. So that in this activity it provides the right solution, namely by compiling a Business Model Canvas (BMC) to analyze each block on BMC so that we can find out the problems and shortcomings that must be met. Developing a marketing strategy is also done using social media as a medium of sales, such as Instagram, WhatsApp and Go-Food for promotions and sales medium, because it makes it easier for MSMEs to sell their product, besides that, we also design attractive packaging and make videos for product promotion. In addition, this activity also provides e-commerce training in order to optimize the marketing channel media, so that sales increase. The results of this study are that the use of social media makes it easier for companies to carry out their promotional activities.
