Abstract

Thinking is a mental activity to compile an idea in making a conclusion. One of the thinking skills that is always considered in a person's life in acting is the ability to think logically. Thinking logically or logically is a thinking activity that is in accordance with reason, rational or reasonable, which results in correct decisions. In this digital era, it is very easy to interact with other people with social media. However, interacting with other people requires good thinking and logic so that it can provide good actions. In the digital era, it is also easier to receive abundant information, but how to choose that information so that there are no logical fallacy. Therefore, the purpose of this community service is to educate the public in terms of logic in the digital era from three perspectives, namely the perspective of biopsychology, psychology, and logic. The learning method is lecture, discussion, question and answer, and it is done online. Based on the results of feedback from participants, that the usefulness of this education got an average score of 30.5% and very good 62.5%, meaning that it adds insight for participants. Besides being useful, this education can also provide solutions to improve thinking and logic, this is done during the interaction between speakers and participants. During the interaction, they discussed real case studies such as computer repair service employees in completing computer repair services and students when planning further studies. The case study solution uses a lateral thinking model approach with the support of mind map software.

Abstract

PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Food Division Berbek Plant Sidoarjo is a food company with a strong commitment to the safety and quality of its products. Furthermore, to maintain high HACCP standards, it is necessary to increase the HACCP knowledge and awareness of QC staff personnel. The purpose of this service is to increase HACCP knowledge and awareness through interactive training for QC staff at PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Food Division Berbek Plant Sidoarjo. The method of this service is carried out by conducting a pre-test, conducting socialization, interactive training, and evaluation which is carried out by conducting a post-test. The pre-test results obtained an average score of 65.4.  While the post-test results, it is known that 90.9% of participants scored above the KKM with an average score of 91.8. Not only the average score, the score of each participant also increased. However, awareness of the application of HACCP is still considered lacking, based on the low case study average score of 47.8. Training involving a combination of theoretical material and practical training helped QC staff gain a better understanding of the principles and application of HACCP.

Abstract

The learning process has been transformed into the digital era 4.0. Digital learning materials are needed to improve students' problem-solving skills and learning independence. Flipbooks are three-dimensional digital books that can contain text, images, videos, music or songs, and animations. Flipbooks can be used to teach mathematics, which is generally considered to be a difficult subject. Therefore, teachers are required to be able to prepare digital learning materials for mathematics. Yayasan Pendidikan Nurul Hasaniah focuses on organizing education from elementary school to high school, so the teacher must also be able to prepare digital learning materials. One of the efforts to improve the ability of teachers with training activities and flipbook guidance as a mathematics learning media. The results of the activity show that the teachers were able to use professional pdf flipbook software and are able to create e-modules.

Abstract

The development of the digital era encourages business actors to be able to adjust to the times. Currently, there are still many micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that do not understand digital marketing in developing their business, resulting in going out of business.  Training and mentoring efforts are needed to help MSME entrepreneurs, especially in rural areas, to survive. Tanjung Sari Village, Batang Kuis Subdistrict, North Sumatra has three active MSMEs, Mrs. Nining's MSME with tempeh products, Uban Fiber Decoration MSME, and Keset Kaki. The three MSMEs have limited digital marketing knowledge. This activity aims to train digital marketing for these MSME entrepreneurs and assist them in simple financial accounting. Activities include surveys, socialization and training and evaluation. Training activities include digital marketing and training in making simple financial bookkeeping. The series of activities received positive responses and community satisfaction and are expected to help MSME players survive in the midst of digital marketing trends and support MSME players in developing their businesses in the future.

Abstract

The digital village is a government program that aims to minimize the information gap in rural areas through the use of information and communication technology, and is mandated by Law No. 6/2014. There are four important aspects of a digital village: village governance, economy and food security, village community empowerment, and support facilities. Sibagindar Village, Pagindar Subdistrict, Pakpak Bharat Regency, North Sumatra, is a village that is still an independent, underdeveloped and non-digital village. The village has only one aspect (supporting equipment aspect) of the four aspects that support a digital village. To accommodate the other three aspects so that they are integrated with each other, a platform is needed that can unite them. The information system website can be an integration platform for all aspects that will be digitized later. In addition, the information system website is also a digital gateway to Sibagindar Village. Thus, this activity focuses on the development of an information system website. The stages for the realization of the program include identification of conditions, collection of user requirements, system design, system development, and support for the management of the information system website. The appearance of the website is appropriate and very much in accordance with the results of user requirements gathering. Accessibility of the website is very easy for any device. As much as 83% of the village government and the village community recognized that the presence of the Sibagindar Village Information System website is very useful and motivated to disseminate it.

Abstract

In the information age, computers play an important role in supporting administrative work in organizations. Computers are tools that have great potential to realize the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative work. With computers via an office application software (OAS), administrative work can be carried out in an integrated and collaborative manner. Integration is merging or blending into something whole, while collaboration is the activity of working together with other people to achieve maximum results. However, in fact there are still users who use applications that are not integrated or collaborated, resulting in inefficiency and effectiveness in carrying out administrative work. The OAS that can support the integration and collaboration process is Google Docs. Google Docs is an internet-based OAS that can be used via a computer or Android-based cellphone. Based on the importance of integration and collaboration in administrative work using Google Docs, this service aims to provide education. This education is aimed at students at SMK Perdana I Surabaya majoring in office automation by the needs of the school principal. This education resulted in an increase in insight and practice for 16 participants from 20 or 80%.

Abstract

This research aims to uncover the approach and outcomes of efforts to enhance traditional dance and music skills in children through education and training. Art is considered an integral part of human life, including in the development of children. Aside from having aesthetic value, art also has the potential to stimulate children's creativity. Art education for children is regarded as a foundational element of the national education process, aimed at developing potential in various aspects such as cognitive, linguistic, artistic, moral, religious, motoric, and socio-emotional domains. One way to stimulate motoric development in children is through learning dance art, which can influence both gross and fine motor development. However, motoric abilities depend on each child's level of maturity. The approach used in this research involves two main aspects: formal and non-formal education.

Abstract

Gempa bumi merupakan ancaman serius, terutama di wilayah rentan seperti Indonesia. Kesadaran akan risiko gempa masih rendah, khususnya di kalangan siswa SMA. Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran tersebut dengan mengembangkan simulasi gedung sebagai alat edukasi bagi siswa SMA Harapan Medan. Kolaborasi antara lembaga pendidikan, pemerintah, dan masyarakat diharapkan dapat membangun budaya kesadaran bencana yang tangguh. Metode pengabdian melibatkan pemodelan dan simulasi gedung dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak ETABS. ETABS memungkinkan analisis dinamis struktur bangunan terhadap gempa bumi, serta menawarkan alat untuk mengevaluasi kinerja struktur dalam situasi gempa. Hasil pemodelan dengan ETABS menunjukkan elemen-elemen struktur yang rentan mengalami kegagalan akibat gempa pada arah X dan arah Y. Analisis pushover digunakan untuk memvisualisasikan deformasi dan distribusi gaya gempa pada struktur gedung. Elemen-elemen yang mengalami deformasi plastis ditandai dengan warna merah, mengindikasikan lokasi terjadinya sendi plastis. Pemahaman terhadap terbentuknya sendi plastis ini penting dalam merancang strategi perbaikan dan penguatan yang tepat untuk meningkatkan keselamatan struktur bangunan terhadap gempa bumi di masa depan.

Abstract

UMKM Dapur Bunda Vivi merupakan UMKM yang menjual produk makanan seperti nasi bakar dan sambal yang berdiri sejak tahun 2019 berlokasi Jl. Beciro. Selama UMKM Dapur Bunda Vivi berdiri ada dua hal permasalahan utama yang dihadapi yaitu Manajemen Keuangan dan Digital Marketing, dalam manajemen keuangan tidak mengetahui tentang pembukuan dari pengeluaran dan pemasukan buku besar, neraca, laba rugi, perubahan modal, arus kas serta tidak memiliki pencatatan keuangan harian yang dapat berbahaya bagi UMKM. Permasalahan selanjutnya adalah kegiatan Digital Marketing penjualan yang dilakukan hanya melalui mulut ke mulut dan membuka lapak di pinggir jalan untuk nasi bakar dan untuk sambal dititipkan di toko. Dengan adanya permasalahan ini membuat pemilik usaha tidak dapat mengambil keputusan yang tepat. Maka dari itu, solusinya adalah membuatkan format pembukuan keuangan sederhana melalui buku akuntansi secara manual dan secara online menggunakan excel dan menambah saluran pemasaran melalui kegiatan promosi di Tiktok selain membuat promosi di media sosial kegiatan yang lainnya dengan mengupload produk di Tokopedia dan Tiktok Shop yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penjualan. Hasil dari Kerja Praktek ini yakni pembuatan pembukuan secara sederhana dengan excel agar dapat memudahkan pemilik dalam pencatatan pemasukan dan pengeluaran yang terjadi sehingga dapat mengetahui saldo yang diperoleh dalam periode tertentu. Pemasaran melalui Tiktok dengan membuat konten dapat membantu dalam pengenalan produk untuk meningkatkan penjualan.

Abstract

Belajar lebih dari sekedar proses kognitif dan bahwa emosi memainkan peran yang sangat penting. Oleh karena itu, kebutuhan akan kesadaran untuk terus mendidik masyarakat terutama generasi muda tentang isu-isu lingkungan dan mempromosikan tindakan untuk meminimalkan kerusakan pada lingkungan sangat penting. Penelitian ini mengimplementasikan edukasi pengelolaan sampah dengan metode ecobrick pada peserta didik di SDN Bojongrangkas 03, sebuah sekolah dasar di Desa Bojongrangkas yang memiliki permasalahan lingkungan yang serius akibat sampah plastik. Metode ecobrick adalah mengubah sampah plastik menjadi bata yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat produk-produk yang bermanfaat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program edukasi ini meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan anak-anak dalam isu-isu lingkungan, seperti yang terlihat dari ekspresi, pemahaman, dan karya mereka dari sampah dengan metode ecobrick, serta menghasilkan produk berupa kursi yang dapat mengurangi jumlah sampah plastik di lingkungan sekolah.
