Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi langsung di lapangan dan wawancara dengan warga di Desa Cigugur Girang Parongpong Bandung Barat, beberapa kendala dalam pengolahan limbah rumah tangga adalah  masih kurang sadarnya masyarakat dalam melakukan pemilahan sampah,  belum adanya tempat penampungan yang memisahkan antara limbah rumah tangga organik dan non organik, pengetahuan dan teknologi pengolahan limbah yang belum dipahami secara praktek.  Akibatnya sampah terkadang menumpuk karena Dinas Kebersihan Bandung Barat sebagai pengangkut sampah ke TPA cukup kesulitan dikarenakan kurangnya armada angkutan. Pelatihan pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga dapat menjadi salah satu cara meningkatkan pemahaman dan pengetahuan khususnya Ibu-Ibu PAUD, untuk merubah sampah menjadi bahan dalam bentuk lain yang berdaya guna, efisien, ekonomis dan dampak lingkungan yang minimal. Pendekatan dan teknologi pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga adalah fermentasi dengan JAKABA, teknologi composting JADAM, dan penggunaan larva Lalat BSF (magot). Pelatihan pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah dan praktek disertai tanya jawab. Manfaat dari pelatihan sebagai sebuah kegiatan PkM yang diperoleh peserta  antara lain mengolah limbah rumah tangga menjadi pupuk organik sebagai komponen media tanam, meningkatnya pemahaman, manajemen dan pengetahuan secara teknik dalam pengolahan limbah rumah tangga. Melalui cara ini diharapkan setidaknya masalah persampahan yang ada di Desa Cigugur Girang khususnya dapat dipecahkan.

Abstract

Nowadays, increasingly rapid technological developments encourage learning progress. However, the method still used remains the same, namely using textbooks and modules. Actually, this method is quite good because the learning system is more technical and structured. In reality, what happens is the opposite, because the increasingly rapid development of technology makes children lazy to read books and more interested in playing games on smartphones. So there is no interest in children learning. Therefore, the author took the initiative to create an interactive and efficient learning media application that can be accessed from a smartphone. It is hoped that this application can increase children's desire to learn starting from an early age, especially at the Coastal Children's Education Center (REDAKSI). The application created is a Reading, Writing and Counting (calistung) learning application aimed at children under the age of ten. This application was created using Unity and contains several learning menus in the application.

Abstract

In this modern era, all organizations carrying out their administrative activities use computer-based office applications (AP). Like educational organizations, administrative activities include making reports on student study results, while business organizations, such as making sales reports, all these activities use AP. However, currently AP is not enough, there is a need for integrated AP (IAP). IAP is an activity that combines two or more APs. One application that supports this IAP is Microsoft Office. However, the fact is that in completing administrative work there are still people working in one AP, giving rise to problems of inefficiency and ineffectiveness. Therefore, this education aims to increase knowledge about IAP for students. This education is carried out online using lecture, practice, and question and answer methods, while evaluation using pre-test, post-test, and feedback methods. As a result of this educational evaluation, participants experienced an increase in knowledge about IAP as shown by the average pre-test score of 49% to an average post-test score of 77%. The increase in IAP knowledge has an impact on participants' knowledge and practice regarding object linking and embedding (OLE). Meanwhile, the average feedback results for this educational process show a strongly agree and agree figure of 98% and 2% disagree.

Abstract

Higher education is not only responsible for the processes of education and research, but also for developing student leadership through Student Executive Boards (BEM). A comprehensive BEM training program can prepare students to play important roles within organizations, develop managerial skills, communication, teamwork, and ethical principles. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of BEM training sessions in developing organizational, communication, teamwork, and ethical skills at the Faculty of Theology, Sanata Dharma University. The training sessions consist of two main sessions. The first session, covering the basics of organization, structure, and responsibilities of BEM, provides students with a deep understanding of organizational governance and the tasks carried out by BEM executives. The second session, focusing on managing communication, teamwork, and ethics, enhances students' skills in effective communication, teamwork, and adherence to ethical principles in BEM activities. BEM training at the Faculty of Theology, Sanata Dharma University, has proven its strategic value in developing student leadership. By strengthening organizational, communication, teamwork, and ethical skills, students involved in BEM can become competent and responsible leaders in the future. This article demonstrates the efficacy of this technique in equipping students to engage in organizational activities. Following the course, students successfully reorganized the BEM organization, enhancing clarity in the roles of each member and effectively resolving internal issues through the use of learned communication strategies. Furthermore, the training facilitated BEM in enhancing their ability to effectively organize yearly events and promote transparency in decision-making. This had a positive impact on both the campus community and the broader community.

Abstract

The younger generation is particularly susceptible to the dangers of drug abuse due to the potential long-term consequences associated with narcotics use. Consequently, they often find themselves in the crosshairs of drug trafficking syndicates seeking financial gain. In response to this issue, the government, working in conjunction with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN), has introduced the Program for Prevention, Eradication, Abuse, and Illicit Trafficking of Drug Precursors (P4GNPN) as a strategic measure to combat drug trafficking. Aligned with the broader anti-narcotics movement in Indonesia, our implementation team has launched a training program aimed at harnessing the power of interactive systems to serve as an educational tool on drug-related matters. The primary recipients of this program are teachers who are active members of the Indonesian Teachers Association (PGRI) in Pangandaran Regency. The fundamental objective of employing this interactive system is to empower users with the capability to access drug information and counseling interactively and on a personal basis, regardless of their location or the time of day. The participants have been thoroughly trained in the proper use and effective utilization of this interactive system. According to the feedback obtained through the evaluation process, participants have expressed a clear understanding of the material, and the training has significantly boosted their motivation to carry out anti-drug movements. With the introduction of this community service initiative, we aspire to lend support to the government's and society's collective efforts in addressing the pressing issue of drug abuse among the younger generation.
