Abstract

To prevent radicalism among students, collaboration from Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers, consisting of teachers of Qur'an-Hadith, Aqeedah-Akhlaq, and Fiqh in schools, is essential. This is because they are among the key parties responsible for providing a comprehensive understanding of Islamic teachings to students. IRE teachers should not teach intolerant attitudes, whether toward fellow Muslims or to people of other religions outside the school environment. Gentle behavior, mutual respect, and deliberation must always be prioritized. Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Abnaulkhairaat Lakea is one of the schools that encourages students to actively participate in religious activities at school. This study examines the pattern of religious spiritual guidance by IRE teachers as an effort to prevent radicalism among the students of Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Abnaulkhairaat Lakea. This research is a descriptive qualitative study. In data collection, the researcher uses methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. The main data sources for this study are IRE teachers (including teachers of Qur'an-Hadith, Aqeedah-Akhlaq, and Fiqh), the school principal, and students of MAS Abnaulkhairaat Lakea. As for the additional data sources, the researcher uses books, articles, and journals related to the pattern of religious spiritual guidance by IRE teachers as an effort to prevent radicalism among students. The data is analyzed qualitatively using techniques such as data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing (verification).

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in shaping an intelligent and competitive nation, as through education, students can acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to face future challenges. One of the key factors supporting the success of education is the use of appropriate and engaging teaching methods, which can enhance students' learning interest and facilitate a deeper understanding of the subject matter. In this context, this research was conducted to increase the learning interest of eighth-grade students at MTS Bahrul Ulum by applying the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method in Indonesian language learning, specifically in the Expository Text material. The TGT method was chosen because it creates an enjoyable and challenging learning environment, which in turn can encourage students to become more active in the learning process. This study was carried out in two cycles, with data collected through observation, interviews, and tests to evaluate the development of students' interest and understanding of the material being taught. Therefore, it is expected that the application of this method can improve the quality of teaching and students' learning outcomes optimally.

This study examines the leadership model of kyai at the Nurul Barokah Islamic Boarding School, Cikijing, Majalengka, which is known as a salafiyah Islamic boarding school with the characteristics of sorogan, bandungan, and yellow book learning traditions. Since its establishment in 1984, this Islamic boarding school has combined tradition-based education with modern innovations, such as the establishment of formal schools (RA, SD, SMP, SMA), tahfidz programs, and Job Training Centers (BLK) in the fields of sewing, farming, and technology training. This Islamic boarding school also involves more than 713 active students and has produced thousands of alumni who have contributed as scholars, community leaders, and professionals in various fields. The study aims to explore the leadership model applied at the Nurul Barokah Islamic Boarding School, Cikijing, Majalengka, with a focus on the interaction between tradition and innovation. This study is expected to provide insight into how traditional values can integrate with modern demands without sacrificing the essence of Islamic boarding schools as Islamic educational institutions. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that kyai play a central role as a religious-paternalistic leader with a charismatic and visionary character. This leadership model integrates Islamic values with adaptation to modern challenges, creating a harmonious and relevant educational environment. Traditions are maintained, while innovations such as the application of information technology and santri empowerment programs broaden the santri's horizons in facing the global era. The conclusion of the study confirms that the integration of tradition and innovation at the Nurul Barokah Islamic Boarding School is able to maintain the identity of the Islamic boarding school while producing religious individuals, broad-minded, and ready to compete globally. This model can be an inspiration for the development of other Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the foundation of the nation's economy, but their development has been less than promising due to poor management of their operations. Inadequate management results in the inability of MSMEs to grow and improve their standards, and they struggle to manage their businesses effectively and efficiently. The tendency for MSMEs to be family-run contributes to a lack of professionalism in their operations. The long-term objective of this research is to develop a management model that can be practically applied by MSMEs to support productivity and business development. In general, MSME business management (marketing, production, human resources, and finance) can be implemented by providing training to MSME actors. Over time, MSMEs need to be closely monitored to ensure proper management practices are followed. Based on the SWOT analysis conducted, strategies have been identified to provide training in all aspects of management, considering the lack of knowledge within MSMEs. Introducing information technology is also an approach to technology-based marketing.
