Abstract

This study aims to explore the evolution of the teacher's role in the technological era, specifically in the context of teaching adaptation in the digital age. Through a literature review approach, this study analyzes various relevant literatures on how technology has changed the way teachers interact with students and design learning. The main findings indicate that the teacher's role has transformed from a traditional instructor to a more dynamic and interactive learning facilitator, thanks to the use of technology. However, challenges such as limited digital skills among teachers and infrastructure gaps remain significant barriers to the implementation of technology in the classroom. Additionally, this study found that the use of models such as SAMR can guide teachers in integrating technology more innovatively. The study concludes that to maximize the benefits of technology in education, teachers need to continuously develop their digital skills through ongoing training and enhance educational infrastructure equitably.

Abstract

The development of information technology has had a significant impact on various sectors, including the education sector. MA Babussalam Payaraman, as an Islamic educational institution, recognizes the importance of integrating technology to improve management efficiency. One of the crucial aspects in madrasah financial management is the tuition fee payment system (Sumbangan Pembinaan Pendidikan, SPP). This study aims to design and implement an efficient SPP Payment Information System at MA Babussalam Payaraman. The development method used is RAD (Rapid Application Development) to accelerate the system development process. During the research phase, an in-depth understanding of the madrasah's needs and the SPP payment process was conducted. Next, a system prototype design was created to be adaptable to user needs. The RAD implementation process allows for iterative development and active participation from users, ensuring the system meets the actual needs of the madrasah. This study resulted in an SPP Payment Information System that can be used by the Madrasah Aliyah Babussalam to facilitate the SPP payment process and report generation.

Abstract

Mathematics learning is still considered difficult for some students due to the abundance of numerical information, which affects students' learning outcomes. This study aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of third-grade students at SD 1 Al-Islam Surakarta on the topic of measurement using measurement cards as a learning medium. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with a quantitative approach. Data analysis techniques utilize descriptive statistical methods in the form of percentages. Data collection techniques include observations, interviews, and cognitive tests. The results show that students' learning completeness improved in each cycle. In the pre-cycle, the completion percentage reached 48%. After the application of the measurement card medium in Cycle I, the learning completeness increased to 68%, and in Cycle II, there was a significant improvement of 12%, reaching a learning completeness of 80%, with an average score of 85.6. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of measurement cards can enhance students' learning outcomes in the mathematics measurement topic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of students' understanding of social media ethics in Islam and their perceptions of the social environment of the madrasa on social media etiquette at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Masmur Pekanbaru, both partially and simultaneously. This research uses a quantitative approach with a field research method. The population in this study consists of 105 students, with a sample of 83 students selected using the Slovin formula and stratified random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used inferential statistics with a multiple linear regression model. The results of the study indicate that in the first hypothesis, there is a significant influence of the understanding of social media ethics in Islam (X1) on students' social media etiquette (Y), with a significance value of 0.020 (Sig. 0.020 < 0.05) and a t-count value of 2.378 (t-count 2.378 > t-table 1.990). The second hypothesis shows that there is also a significant influence of students' perceptions of the madrasa's social environment (X2) on students' social media etiquette (Y), with a significance value of 0.000 (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05) and a t-count value of 7.061 (t-count 7.061 > t-table 1.990). In the third hypothesis, there is an influence of both independent variables (X1 and X2) simultaneously on students' social media etiquette (Y), with a significance value of 0.000 (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05) and an F-count value of 34.756 (F-count 34.756 > F-table 3.109). In addition, the R Square value of 0.465 indicates that 46.5% of the variation in students' social media etiquette can be explained by both independent variables simultaneously, while the remaining 53.5% is influenced by other factors not included in this regression model. The results of this study emphasize the importance of understanding social media ethics in Islam and students' perceptions of the madrasa's social environment in shaping students' social media etiquette.

Abstract

The introduction of electric vehicles (EV) in Indonesia still requires time due to the low public interest. Previous studies have shown that the intention to purchase EVs is influenced by environmental awareness and product comfort, while other factors such as brand, dealers, and payment methods also play a role. This study aims to measure the influence of product attributes and consumer behavior on the purchase decision of electric motorcycles in Padang City using both qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires with Stratified Random Sampling techniques, then analyzed using SMART PLS 3.0 and Path Analysis. The results show that product attributes, including brand, price, quality, features, and design, have a positive and significant effect on the purchase decision. However, consumer behavior, which includes cultural, social, personal, and psychological aspects, although positively influential, does not have a significant direct impact on the electric motorcycle purchase decision in Padang City.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to explore how elementary schools in Indonesia have developed and implemented their Islamic education curriculum. Based on the findings of the research, it was revealed that the current Islamic education curriculum in elementary schools has not reached its optimal potential. The existing curriculum still falls short in fostering a deep understanding of Islamic principles and encouraging students to apply them in their daily lives. This limitation in the curriculum design affects the overall development of students' religious knowledge and values. Additionally, the study found that many Islamic education instructors at the elementary school level do not possess the required qualifications or sufficient training to effectively teach the subject. This gap in qualifications and expertise among educators further exacerbates the challenges in delivering quality Islamic education. As a result, the study recommends a comprehensive overhaul of the Islamic education curriculum, making it more inclusive and better aligned with the current educational needs of students. The proposed curriculum should not only emphasize theoretical knowledge but also practical application, fostering a holistic understanding of Islam. Furthermore, it highlights the importance of providing specialized training and professional development opportunities for Islamic education teachers to enhance their teaching skills, knowledge, and pedagogical approaches. By improving both the curriculum and the qualifications of educators, it is expected that students will receive a more meaningful and effective Islamic education, which will better prepare them to live according to Islamic values and contribute positively to society.

Abstract

The concept of a Sakinah family is crucial for married couples in Islam, as it represents a harmonious and peaceful family life. This study aims to explore the concept of a Sakinah family from an Islamic perspective, focusing on Jasser Auda's interpretation of Maqāṣid al-Syarīʻah and its relevance to Islamic Family Law. Using a descriptive content analysis approach, this library-based research analyzes primary sources, including books on the Sakinah family and Auda’s work on Maqāṣid al-Syarīʻah, as well as secondary data for support. The findings reveal that the concept of a Sakinah family, based on Auda’s six principles-cognitive nature, wholeness, interrelated hierarchy, openness, multidimensionality, and purposefulness-extends beyond fulfilling marital rights and duties. It also includes psychological, worldview, and developmental aspects, emphasizing love, mutual understanding, adjustments, and forgiveness. These factors contribute to a peaceful family environment. The relationship between the Sakinah family concept and Islamic Family Law is complementary, with a focus on mutual understanding, openness, and respect for each other’s rights and obligations.
