Abstract

This article discusses the influence of three main factors location, store atmosphere, and customer experience on revisit intention at Shelters Coffee located in Kayu Aro. In the context of the increasingly competitive café industry, where each café is vying to attract and retain visitors, it is important for café owners to understand the factors that influence customers' decisions to return. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, involving 80 respondents selected through purposive sampling, to analyze the relationship between these factors and revisit intention. The analysis results show that the café's strategic location and a pleasant customer experience have a positive and significant influence on customers' intention to revisit. This indicates that consumers are more likely to visit a café that is easily accessible and provides a satisfying experience during their visit. On the other hand, the store atmosphere, while important for creating comfort, does not show a significant impact on revisit intention according to the findings of this study. These findings provide valuable insights for café owners to develop more targeted marketing and management strategies, focusing on improving location and customer experience as top priorities. Meanwhile, although store atmosphere did not show significant impact in this study, it may still be considered as a supporting factor that needs further attention, especially in creating an atmosphere that supports customer comfort and long-term loyalty. Overall, this study highlights the importance of managing factors that can enhance the customer experience to increase a café's chances of retaining customer loyalty in a highly competitive market

Abstract

In the context of the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka), emphasis is placed on integrating elements of local wisdom into the learning process to support the achievement of student profiles aligned with Pancasila principles. Therefore, teachers are expected to prepare instructional materials that incorporate elements of local wisdom in line with the Independent Curriculum. However, findings in the field, particularly in Batang Hari Regency, indicate that some schools, such as SMAN 2 Batang Hari, still rely on teaching materials based on the previous curriculum, which do not incorporate local wisdom or ethnoscience aspects. The purpose of this community service activity is to train teachers at SMAN 2 Batang Hari to develop Independent Curriculum learning tools that integrate local wisdom or ethnoscience aspects using Heyzine. This platform is utilized to create interactive digital learning modules based on ethnoscience, allowing teachers to visually and contextually present elements of Jambi’s local culture. The method used in this activity is a workshop comprising three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. This training took place on August 29, 2024, at SMAN 2 Batang Hari. The results of this training indicate that teachers at SMAN 2 Batang Hari gained a good understanding of the concepts, techniques, and use of Heyzine in preparing learning tools in line with the Independent Curriculum, thereby enabling more effective integration of local wisdom or ethnoscience aspects into the learning process

Abstract

Children around the world remain continuously connected online through their tablets, phones, and computers. In recent years, it has been observed that more and more educational institutions are transitioning to remote learning/e-learning, including during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, as found by many studies, remote learning is also associated with several challenges, such as a lack of engagement in learning. One potential solution to enhance the quality of remote learning is the use of interactive tools and various engaging technologies. The aim of this study is to evaluate how the integration of mobile applications, gamified, and collaborative tools can transform and improve students' learning experiences in remote education. This research illustrates and utilizes a literature review and case studies, demonstrating that the integration of interactive tools created through the internet into remote education enhances students' active participation, their general understanding of subjects, and collaboration among peers. The application of this technology also accelerates and personalizes feedback delivery while engaging students with alternative learning approaches in the learning process. In conclusion, the application of engaging technology in remote learning holds high potential for improving the overall effectiveness of the learning experience and increasing students' overall achievement.

Abstract

This research is focused on analyzing cost-volume-profit (CVP) planning at CV. TABINA BERSAMA, a company that aims to optimize its financial decision-making and improve profitability. The study employs a qualitative research methodology, relying on secondary data sources, primarily the company’s financial reports, specifically the profit and loss statements from the years 2014 to 2023. These reports provide a comprehensive overview of the company's financial performance, allowing the researcher to explore trends in revenue, costs, and profit margins over a significant period. The results indicate a positive outlook for the company, with a projected 5% increase in profit from Rp. 58,150,000 in 2023 to Rp. 61,057,500 in 2024, signaling that CV. TABINA BERSAMA is positioned to continue operating profitably in the near future. The study emphasizes the importance of the contribution margin in profit planning, as it plays a critical role in determining the profitability of the company at different levels of production and sales. The contribution margin is an essential tool in CVP analysis because it allows the company to assess how changes in sales volume, fixed costs, and variable costs impact overall profitability. By utilizing this concept, the research underscores how businesses can make informed financial decisions, set appropriate sales targets, and optimize their cost structures to maximize profits. Furthermore, the research provides insights into how CV. TABINA BERSAMA can strategically use this information to maintain financial stability and support long-term growth. In essence, the study highlights the significance of CVP planning in navigating financial challenges, improving cost efficiency, and ensuring sustained profitability.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine how the absence of parents as migrant workers impacts the psychosocial development of young children. The research focuses on various components of child psychosocial development, such as emotional attachment, moral development, language skills, and social interaction with peers. To achieve this, a literature review was conducted by gathering information from various sources, including articles, journals, and previous studies related to the topic. The results show that the absence of parents working as migrants can affect a child's psychosocial development, including their ability to interact socially, self-confidence, and independence. Children raised by caregivers or other family members tend to feel emotionally insecure and face difficulties in forming stable relationships. Furthermore, the lack of direct parental supervision can hinder the development of moral and language skills. This study also emphasizes the importance of caregivers or substitute figures in supporting the psychosocial development of children during the early stages of their lives. The findings are expected to provide insights for child-rearing policies and support efforts to improve the quality of child care for children of migrant workers.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology and social media in the post-truth era has led to the distortion of facts and the spread of unverified information, including in the realm of religious understanding. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is faced with a major challenge in remaining relevant amidst the flood of disinformation and hoaxes that affect public religious understanding. This study aims to analyze how PAI can play a role in addressing the challenges of the post-truth era. This research uses a qualitative method with a library research approach. The analysis is carried out in three stages: data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that PAI must teach the importance of tabayyun (information verification), critical thinking, and instill values of honesty and responsibility in responding to information circulating on social media. PAI also plays a role in strengthening digital literacy so that the younger generation is not easily swayed by emotional and manipulative narratives that have the potential to mislead. Islamic Religious Education can become an important instrument in building a society that is critical and firmly adheres to the truth.
