Abstract

This study examines whether creative individuals can make more profitable investment decisions than those who rely on financial resources alone. Using Excel to analyze survey data, the research study utilized Pearson correlation and multiple regression analyses to test the hypothesis that creativity is positively related to investment outcomes. Results have shown that the respondents were moderately oriented toward profitable investments, as evidenced by an average of 3.23 and a standard deviation of 0.925. The level of creativity was also moderate and averaged 3.95. The skewed results to the right suggest that only a small share of the respondents were highly disposed toward profitable decisions. This research underlines the creativity of investment strategies and their potential to enhance decision-making processes. However, limitations remain, especially in the reliance on literature and case studies, suggesting that future research should further explore the nuances of creativity in investment performance. The practical implications of this study may enable individuals and organizations to enhance financial outcomes through the integration of creative thinking in investment strategies that eventually engender informed decision-making and financial stability across diversities

Abstract

Subscription‐based platforms have become pivotal to digital business models, yet little is known about the psychological forces that bind customers to these services in emerging markets. Drawing on behavioral economics, this study theorizes that endowment effect and commitment bias build consumer loyalty by strengthening users’ perceived ownership and rationalizing prior choices. We further propose that hedonic motivation (enjoyment derived from service use) and switching costs (economic and psychological barriers to change) intensify these effects. Data from 224 digital-service subscribers in Greater Jakarta were analyzed with covariance-based structural equation modeling in SmartPLS. All six hypotheses are supported: both endowment effect (β = .32, p < .001) and commitment bias (β = .29, p < .001) directly enhance loyalty, while their impacts are amplified by hedonic motivation (interaction β = .14, p < .01) and switching costs (interaction β = .18, p < .01). The findings extend loyalty theory by positioning endowment and commitment as dual psychological anchors in subscription contexts and by identifying boundary conditions that magnify their influence. For managers, the results stress the value of fostering user ownership feelings, designing engaging service experiences, and deliberately increasing perceived costs of defection to boost retention. Collectively, the study offers a nuanced framework for understanding—and managing—the drivers of sustained patronage in rapidly growing digital economies.

Abstract

This research delves into the strategic landscape of XO Cafe Restaurant & Bar, employing a SWOT analysis to dissect its internal and external factors. Questionnaires distributed to 38 customers and 15 employees, combined with observational data, formed the basis of this analysis. The study identified key strengths such as varied beverage offerings, satisfactory service, affordable pricing, strong customer loyalty, and well-trained staff. Conversely, weaknesses were noted in the limited food variety, room layout, and aesthetics. Opportunities for XO Cafe lie in its diverse beverage selection, potential for repeat business, and flexible pricing. However, the business faces threats from competition and competitor menu variations. To formulate effective marketing strategies, the research utilized IFAS and EFAS matrices and a quantitative SWOT matrix. The IFAS matrix highlighted that XO Cafe's strengths outweigh its weaknesses, with "Trained Employees" and "Affordable Prices" being significant assets. The EFAS matrix revealed that opportunities exceed threats, particularly in "Varied Beverage Product Options" and "Repeat Purchases from Customers." Furthermore, a workforce analysis assessed employee performance, revealing a "Good" rating but also a 34% gap needing improvement. Recommendations include targeted training and regular performance evaluations. Ultimately, the study concludes that XO Cafe is viable for an alcoholic beverage sales license and suggests strategies for growth.

Abstract

Inefficiencies in the record management system can delay document retrieval and reduce overall productivity. This study analyzes and aims to optimize the record management system at PT BGR Logistik Indonesia, DKI Jakarta Branch, through the implementation of the 5S method: Seiri (Sort), Seiton (Set in Order), Seiso (Shine), Seiketsu (Standardize), and Shitsuke (Sustain). The findings reveal that the current manual system hinders effective document handling, compounded by limited human resources and lack of training. Implementing 5S is expected to enhance organization, minimize waste, and improve efficiency. The study recommends digitalization, staff training, environmental improvements, provision of handling tools, and regular evaluations.
