Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of lands size to the welfare of rice farmers in the district of Sragen Sragen. This research was conducted in the District of Sragen, precisely in the Village and Village Tangkil Kedungupit, Sragen, Central Java, which has been implemented from the month of April-May 2016. The samples in this research using stratified random sampling method with a sample size of 40 farmers sample of 22 farmers samples from Tangkil village and 18 farmers samples from Kedungupit village.The analytical method used is descriptive quantitative method that uses a scoring system to calculate each variable to be measured. Meanwhile, for hypothesis testing using T-Tests. The results of this research indicate that amounted to 0.00147 or 0.147% of land area influence on the level of welfare of rice farmers in the district of Sragen, which means there are no significant effects. Similarly, the acreage stratum 2 appeared to have well-being not greater than the acreage stratum 1, which means there is also no significant effect. Key words: Lands Size, Welfare of Rice Farmers

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbandingan pendapatan usahatani bawang merah di lahan berkarakteristik tanah kapur dengan di tanah sawah. Penelitian ini sengaja di lakukan di desa Sukorukun kecamatan Jaken kabupaten Pati Jawa Tengah karena hanya di desa Sukorukun yang memiliki lahan berkarakteristik tanah kapur dan tanah sawah yang di gunakan dalam usahatani bawang merah. Penelitian ini telah di laksanakan pada bulan maret – april 2016. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode sensus dengan jumlah sampel 10 untuk lahan berkarakteristik tanah kapur dan 24 untuk untuk di tanah sawah. Metode analisis yang di gunakan adalah analisis biaya, analisis penerimaan, dan analisis pendapatan. Sedangkan pengujian hipotesisnya menggunakan Uji-t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pendapatan usahatani bawang merah di lahan berkarakterisik tanah kapur dan tanah sawah tidak beda nyata, dan uji-t menunjukan hasil tidak signifikan.Kata kunci :Usahatani,Bawang merah, Tanah kapur, Tanah sawah.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui prospek usahatani pepaya lahan pasir di kabupaten Kulon Progo. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kecamatan Panjatan pada bulan April – Mei 2016. Metode yang digunakan untuk pemilihan lokasi penelitian adalah random sampling, sedangkan metode pemilihan sampel digunakan  metode snowball dengan jumlah petani sampel 40 orang. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode analisis pendapatan dan analisis kelayakan R/C ratio. Dari hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa jumlah rata-rata pendapatan usahatani pepaya lahan pasir di kecamatan Panjatan  per usahatani Rp 29.970.686,07 dan per hektar Rp 282.843.909,6. Hasil analisis kelayakan di peroleh hasil R/C sama dengan 7,1, sehingga usahatani pepaya lahan pasir di kecamatan Panjatan layak diusahakan dan memiliki prospek yang bagus. Untuk  menguji hipotesis digunakan uji T-test. Dari hasil uji T-test diketahui bahwa t hitung lebih besar t tabel, dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95% usahatani lahan pasir di kecamatan Panjatan menguntungkan dan layak diusahakan sehingga memiliki prospek yang bagus. Prospek usahatani dilahan pasir kabupaten Kulon Progo ada beberapa hal yang mendukung yaitu mudah dalam pemasaran, ketersedian input, dan teknik budidaya yang sederhana. Kata Kunci : Prospek, Lahan Pasir, Pepaya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mengetahui perbedaan usahatani padi sawah dilahan bukaan baru dan dilahan lama, mengetahui perbandingan produkstivitas usahatani padi sawah dilahan bukaan baru dan dilahan lama,  mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi padi sawah dilahan bukaan baru, mengetahui tingkat efisiensi penggunaan faktor produksi dilahan bukaan baru. Metode dasar yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitis. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalah teknik penelitian survey. Metode penentuan daerah penelitian dilakukan secara purposive  dan penentuan petani sampel dilakukan dengan metode simple random dan kajian ini uji T-test, menngunakan analisis regresi linier berganda  dan analisis efisiensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan perbedaan usahatani padi sawah dilahan bukaan baru dan sawah lama hanya pada pengelolaan air, penggunaan benih serta produksi yang dihasilkan, perbandingan produksitivitas menunjukan padi sawah dilahan bukaan baru (17,21 kw/ha) lebih rendah daripada dilahan lama (29,17 kw/ha), faktor-faktor produksi seperti luas lahan, benih, pupuk urea, pupuk SP-36, pestisida, tenaga kerja serta lama alih fungsi lahan secara serempak berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi padi sawah dilahan bukaan baru, tetapi secara parsial hanya luas lahan, pupuk SP-36 dan lama alih fungsi lahan yang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produksi padi sawah dilahan bukaan baru dan benih berpengaruh negatif, pupuk urea berpengaruh positif, pestisida berpengaruh positif serta tenaga kerja berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap produksi padi sawah dilahan bukaan baru. Tingkat efisiensi penggunaan faktor produksi luas lahan, benih, pupuk urea, pupuk SP-36, pestisida, tenaga kerja dan lama alih fungsi lahan belum efisien. Kata kunci : lahan sawah bukaan baru, faktor produksi, efisiensi produksi

Abstract

This research aims to determine the advantages of Mangunan orchard, to determine the financial feasibility which is based on the investment criteria, and to determine the time period of investment return of Mangunan orchard agro-tourism based on the costs incurred and benefits. The data of this research are analyzed by using the investment analysis through NPV, BCR, IRR, and Payback Period analysis. The NPC, BCR, and IRR analysis refer to the financial viability and profitability while the Payback Period emphasizes the time period of investment return. The result of this research shows that Mangunan orchard agro-tourism is feasible because it can benefit. From the financial analysis on the interest rate of 12%, it gets the NPV in the amount of Rp. 50.707.576.366 which indicates the profit in amount of Rp. 50.707.576.366 during the life of the project. The BCR analysis obtains a value of 3,68 which indicates that for every Rp. 1 costs incurred will give benefit in amount of 3,68. In addition, the IRR analysis obtains a value in amount of 18,92 % which shows that there will be a payback when the interest rate reaches 18,92 %. Based on the criteria of return on investment (payback period) from the calculations, it obtains that the payback period around 14 years and 9 moths, which means in the time period, the investment costs incurred can be returned. Key words: Mangunan Orchard Agro-tourism, Feasibility.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to knowing the cost of production, income, profit, BEP condition, efficiency level based on DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) method and improvement step in emping melinjo of home industry in Klaten Regency. The basic method of research used is analytical descriptive method. Determination of sample area that used by researcher is purposive method . The results showed that the average monthly production cost (December 2016) was Rp 3,496,782.24. The cost of production in the melinjo chips domestic industry in Klaten Regency is divided into two, namely explicit and implicit costs. The average total revenue received by the emping melinjo producer is Rp 4,196,667.67 per month, the average monthly income is Rp 1,533,792.45 and the average profit earned during the month is Rp 694,886.23. Production volume at BEP conditions based on total cost is 15.96 kilograms and 0.88 kilograms based on explicit cost. The result of efficiency level analysis with DEA method shows the average efficiency level of producer is 0.77. Of the 30 respondents there are only 5 manufacturers whose business is efficient. Improvement steps to improve efficiency is to adjust between the actual value of input and output with the target value of the DEA analysis results.From the result of research, it is concluded that efficiency level of home industry of emping melinjo in Klaten Regency is still low. The proposed suggest that producers can use input variables as optimally as possible and maximize output to achieve the efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that affect the production of red peppers. This research was conducted in District Panjatan Kulonprogo Regency, precisely in Bugel village. The basic method of research used in this study is the method of observation and survey by conducting interviews directly to the respondents by using questionnaires, then collect and compile data obtained from respoden, and analyze and explain. The method of determining the location is based on the consideration that the district has the largest harvest area and the highest production amount in Kulonprogo Regency, while the sample determination is random sampling.The results showed average land area of 0.26 ha with an average of 16, 8 kw and produktivtas of 65.8 kw / ha. The factors of production of land area, seed, labor, manure, chemical fertilizer, plant spacing, and pesticide together have a real effect on the production of red pepper. Individually seeds have a real effect on the production of red chili, while the area of land, labor, manure, chemical fertilizers, plant spacing and pesticides have no significant effect on the production of red peppers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of production factors on production, and determine the economic efficiency of the use of production factors on shallot farming. The basic method of research used is the method of observation and survey with interviews directly with respondents using questioner, then collecting and compiling data, and analyzing and explaining. The method of determining the location of the study was done purposively while the determination of the sample by random sampling. The results showed that the average area of shallot farming was 0.271 ha, and productivity was 9,963.09 kg / ha. Production factors such as land area, labor, seeds, fertilizers, liquid pesticides, solid pesticides simultaneously have a significant effect on the production of shallots farming, but partially only seed and fertilizer factors have a significant effect, while land area, labor, pesticides solid, liquid pesticides have no significant effect. The level of economic efficiency uses factors such as land area production, labor, seeds, fertilizers, liquid pesticides, solid pesticides have not shown efficiency.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors that affect the marketing margin of emping melinjo. This research was conducted in District Jatinom, Manisrenggo, Ngawen and Jogonalan Klaten Regency in February - March 2017. The basic method of research used in this study is the method of observation and survey by conducting direct interviews to respondents using questioner, then collect and compile data, Analyze and explain. The method of determining the location of the research was done purposively, while the respondents were random sampling and the merchant samples were snowball. The results showed the margin of marketing channel 1 Rp. 0, -. marketing channel II Rp.8.250, - marketing channel III Rp.6.500,- marketing channels IV Rp.10.750, -. Factors of sales volume, producer price, consumer price level, packaging cost, transportation cost and number of marketing institutions simultaneously have a significant effect on marketing margin of emping melinjo. Partially sales volume, producer price, consumer price, packaging cost, transportation cost having real effect, while the number of marketing institution has no significant effect.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the attributes of the fruits becaming consumer preferences and the most considered of attributes by consumers in the decision to buy fruits in the traditional market of Yogyakarta City. The basic method in this research is descriptive method, and its implementation by survey technique. The research location using three traditional markets chosen purposively. Determination of the sample is done by quota sampling method with the number of respondents 30 people. The type of data used is primary data and secondary data. The analysis used is chi square analysis and analysis of Fishbein multiattribute attitude. The result of chi square analysis showed that all variables of fruits were significantly different at 95% confidence level. That is, the attributes of the fruits effect on consumer preferences in the traditional market of Yogyakarta. Salak fruit is a consumer preference in the traditional market of Yogyakarta City is the fruit of bark that has attributes; sweet taste, medium size, texture of fine meat, and blackish brown skin color. Based on Fishbein analysis it is known that most attributes considered by consumers in purchasing decisions of fruits are flavor attributes. The most attribute sequences considered in the least-considered are fruit flavors, fruit size, fruit pulp texture, and fruit skin color.
