Abstract

The issue of the involvement of the Indonesian National Army in handling criminal acts of terrorism which will be accommodated through law has sparked public concern about the possibility of a shift in the mechanism for handling terrorism in Indonesia from a criminal justice model that prioritizes law enforcement, to a war model that prioritizes the deployment of military capacity. The title of this research is a Juridical Study of the Role of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) in Military Operations Other Than War (OMSP) Related to Countering Criminal Terrorism. Problem formulation: What is the legal review of the role of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) in military operations other than war related to handling criminal acts of terrorism based on applicable laws and regulations? What is the legal position and constraints of the Indonesian National Army in dealing with acts of terrorism? The research was carried out using a normative juridical approach. The data used is primary, secondary and tertiary data. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively and based on the results of the analysis, conclusions were then drawn using a deductive approach. The conclusion of this research is that through military operations other than war, the role of the TNI is not only limited to the military dimension, but also expands its function as a security guard in situations that threaten national order, although its position in the context of civil and military law is often debated. The TNI can operate under coordination with the police in accordance with Law no. 5 of 2018 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Terrorism. However, this regulation has a weakness, namely that there is no operational mechanism that regulates the implementation of TNI assistance tasks.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to determine the influence of financial literacy, type of work and Good Amil Governance (GAG) on interest in ZIS at BAZNAS Yogyakarta in 2024. The population taken in this research is muzaki who lives in DIY, who has distributed ZIS to BAZNAS DIY in 2024 , and has been registered with the Baznas Management System (SIMBA). The number of samples in this study was 95 respondents. The analysis technique used is multiple regression. The research results showed that financial literacy has a positive effect on interest in ZIS at Baznas DIY, good amil governance has a positive effect on interest in ZIS at Baznas DIY partially and financial literacy, type of work and good amil governance have an effect on interest in ZIS at Baznas DIY. However, the type of work has no effect on ZIS interest in Baznas DIY. The implications of this research are that it is necessary to maintain and improve understanding of financial literacy through academic activities, outreach to the community and improving good amil governance in Baznas DIY through the principles of good amil governance. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic marketing ethics at Bank Mega Syariah Sub-Branch Office (KCP) Palembang. Islamic marketing ethics refer to principles derived from Islamic teachings in marketing activities, emphasizing honesty, fairness, responsibility, and the absence of fraud or exploitation. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with management and marketing staff, direct observation, and documentation. The findings indicate that Bank Mega Syariah KCP Palembang has consistently applied the principles of Islamic marketing ethics, particularly in terms of honest product information, transparency in contracts (akad), fair service to customers, and avoiding excessive promotional practices. However, some challenges remain, such as limited understanding among certain marketing personnel regarding Islamic principles and the pressure to meet business targets. Therefore, enhanced internal training based on Islamic values is necessary to strengthen commitment and improve service quality in accordance with sharia principles.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dinamika hubungan antara Pembimbing Kemasyarakatan (PK) dan klien dewasa dalam proses pembimbingan di Balai Pemasyarakatan (Bapas) Kelas I Palembang. Hubungan antara PK dan klien dewasa merupakan aspek penting dalam mendukung keberhasilan reintegrasi sosial serta proses pembinaan klien yang sedang menjalani pidana di luar lembaga pemasyarakatan. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dinamika hubungan antara PK dan klien dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, antara lain komunikasi interpersonal, tingkat kepercayaan, latar belakang sosial klien, serta beban kerja PK. Meski terdapat tantangan seperti resistensi dari klien dan keterbatasan sumber daya, sebagian besar PK mampu menjalin relasi profesional yang empatik dan mendukung perubahan perilaku klien. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan kapasitas komunikasi dan pendekatan personal PK sebagai kunci peningkatan kualitas pembimbingan di Bapas.

Abstract

This study discusses the phenomenon of non-compliance of State Administrative (TUN) officials in Seluma Regency with the decisions of the State Administrative Court (PTUN) which have permanent legal force. Failure to implement PTUN decisions has a negative impact on legal certainty and reduces public trust in the justice system. This study uses a qualitative approach through a case study in Seluma Regency with in-depth interview data collection techniques and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the main causes of non-compliance are weak supervision, political intervention, low legal awareness of officials, and weak implementation of administrative sanctions. From the perspective of fiqh siyasah, non-compliance of officials violates the principles of justice and trust in leadership, so solutions are needed based on increasing accountability, legal education, and bureaucratic reform. The recommendations of this study include strengthening sanctions, transparency in the implementation of PTUN decisions, and socialization of fiqh siyasah values ​​in governance.

Abstract

Advancements in technology have spurred innovation within the banking industry, particularly through the digitalization of services such as BSI Mobile. This research aims to analyze the influence of product features, user experience, and security on customer satisfaction at Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Palembang Sudirman. The study employs a quantitative approach, utilizing IBM SPSS 23 for statistical analysis. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents, all of whom are users of the BSI Mobile application at the aforementioned branch. The analytical techniques applied include tests of validity and reliability, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing using the t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The findings reveal that the product feature variable does not significantly influence customer satisfaction. However, both user experience and security variables have a positive and significant impact on satisfaction levels. Furthermore, when examined collectively, the three variables, product features, user experience, and security, simultaneously influence customer satisfaction in using BSI Mobile at Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Palembang Sudirman.

Abstract

This study aims to delineate the issues affecting the contemporary public administration and highlight the scholarly tension in its theoretical and intellectual aspects. The emerging problems faced by the discipline encompass the historical conflicts, limitation complications, and vagueness in scope, definition, and methodology of public administration. In a context of technological growth, integration of business and nonprofits, unfixed limitations of legality to public policy making and execution, traditional tug of war of politics and administration dichotomy by practitioners also address the public administration in doldrums. Influencing impacts of globalization, complementary approaches to public administration, outdated boundary lines between administration, transparency and administrative accountability, bureaucratic flaws and acceptance of managerial innovative techniques raise the questions in the discipline. The given literature of public administration issues entailed to identify the paradigm tension, limitation and scope, definitional vagueness, contradicting approach, and teaching and methodological tautness. Attaining the purpose of the research exploratory method and secondary source of the data collection used to meet the criteria of the study.

Abstract

Hajj savings is a Sharia-compliant financial product designed to facilitate Muslims in preparing for and financing the pilgrimage to Mecca. This product allows customers to open a special savings account, make an initial deposit, and settle the Hajj Travel Cost (BPIH). The funds in this account are not withdrawable at any time, but are subject to specific regulations. This study aims to analyze the management of the "Tasbih" (Tabungan Siap Beribadah Haji) savings product at Bank Sumsel Babel based on the wadi’ah principle, as outlined in the DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 02/DSN-MUI/IV/2000. The Tasbih product is a type of Hajj planning savings account that uses the wadi’ah yad dhamanah contract, which refers to a safekeeping agreement whereby the bank is permitted to utilize the deposited funds while guaranteeing full return to the customer. This study adopts a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review and interviews with relevant stakeholders at Bank Sumsel Babel. The findings indicate that the management of the Tasbih product complies with Sharia principles, particularly those stipulated in the aforementioned fatwa. While the bank does not promise bonuses, it voluntarily provides hibah (gifts) based on financial performance, and the customers' funds are managed with integrity and trust. Thus, the Tasbih savings product is deemed to fulfill Sharia compliance and serves as a financial solution for individuals planning their Hajj journey in a gradual and well-organized manner.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the perception and development of people who do online buying and selling business through social media Facebook. This research method uses qualitative research methods or case studies. This study uses data collection techniques such as interviews, documentation and questionnaires as complementary data. The theory used is the theory of symbolic interactionism. The results of this study indicate that people who do online buying and selling businesses are motivated by opportunities and opportunities to take advantage of their technological and communication advances, then the communication they build through social media Facebook in doing online buying and selling business is very effective and acceptable to the community. As well as the development of creative and innovative communities when doing online buying and selling businesses are able to help people develop their ideas and hobbies, even though they are quite far from the city, this can be seen from people who do online buying and selling businesses are able to understand and use social media Facebook as a business buying and selling online well.

Abstract

In the learning process, a person needs concentration to be able to understand and interact with his environment. One of the things needed in order to concentrate on studying is to maintain good quality sleep. Therefore, this experimental study aims to measure and identify whether there is an effect of sleep quality on learning concentration in Psychology students of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. This study uses a quantitative experimental technique with a Static Group Comparison design. The population of this study was the active students of the Faculty of Psychology, UIN Raden Fatah Palembang, amounting to 882 people. Determined 30 respondents as a sample selected by purposive sampling technique. Respondents were divided into 2 groups. The first group consisted of 15 respondents with the classification of staying up late, and group 2 consisting of 15 respondents with the classification of regular normal sleep. The data collection technique was through a questionnaire sheet and then analyzed using the chi-squere test.
