Abstract

The high level of public interest in the products and services of financial institutions, especially banks, is followed by the increasing selectiveness of the public in choosing financial institutions. This is done by the community to guarantee a protected and quality product. Only financial institutions that have a high commitment and are trusted will be chosen by the public. The success of a financial institution is marked by the number of consumers who are loyal to it. When consumers are loyal to companies or financial institutions, consumers will tend to buy and use, even make repeat purchases of the company's products or services. Consumers have a high level of loyalty which can be seen from the continuous use of a product or service. Management of Hajj fund services carried out by Islamic Banks for prospective hajj pilgrims is fully said to be optimal in providing services, it has almost been fulfilled only in terms of promoting Hajj savings products, Islamic Banks are still lacking because they have not been able to convince the public, for this reason people do not know related information regarding Hajj savings products at Islamic Banks.

Abstract

Indonesia occupies the first position of the country with the most Muslim majority in the world. The population of the Muslim community in the country is equivalent to 86.7% of the total population in Indonesia. However, it turns out that conventional banks are still the superior choice for the Indonesian Muslim community for various financial transactions or services compared to Islamic banks. Banks are financial organizations or companies that are close friends with the community, these two things are interdependent and need each other. From the title listed, of course we already know about conventional economics. The target to be achieved in this research is to find out whether there are special advantages or dissimilarities between these idealistic banks and Islamic banks, starting from the function of offering services and financial regulations. Here the researcher uses the literature study method. Conventional banks really spoil their customers by providing a number of tempting benefits, for example, getting interest from deposits that are deposited. But on the other hand, conventional banks led to the wrong path, namely usury, then the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Banking issued the oldest sharia bank in this country, namely Bank Muamalat Indonesia. People still consider these two things. Keywords: Muslim, conventional banks, Islamic banks

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of dhikr therapy on increasing the meaningfulness of life experienced by students who are members of the Satu Amal Indonesia foundation. This study uses a one-group pretest-posttest design method because it can compare conditions before and after being given treatment. With various treatments carried out for 7 days or one week on WhatsApp Group. This study presents the results of the effectiveness test of dhikr therapy on the meaningfulness of life using the "Paired Sample t-Test" method. The results in this study involved 20 participants who showed a significant increase in the meaningfulness of life after undergoing dhikr therapy. Before therapy, participants had a moderate level of meaning in life, while after treatment or therapy, the level of meaning in life increased to high. A strong positive correlation between pretest and posttest indicates a significant relationship. Statistical tests showed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores, with a p value of less than 0.001, confirming that dhikr therapy had a significant effect on participants' meaningfulness of life. These results illustrate that dhikr therapy can markedly improve an individual's meaningfulness of life.

Abstract

The use of smartphones is currently very widely used in society, especially in social media and communicating with interlocutors using smartphone devices. However, despite all the advantages and convenience provided by smartphones, there are several negative impacts on their users, namely reduced face-to-face social interaction. This has resulted in reduced socialization, greetings and concern among the community, especially students at the Faculty of Psychology, Raden Fatah State Islamic University, Palembang. Therefore, the aim of this research is to find out whether there is a significant influence of the intensity of smartphone use on students' social interactions. This research method uses an experimental method with a research design using a one-group posttest design. The sampling technique uses a probability sampling technique, namely by taking 30 random samples of students from the class of 2021 population. The data collection technique uses a Likert scale questionnaire which has been distributed to respondents. The statistical data analysis technique uses the one sample t-test technique. The results of data analysis obtained a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.383, greater than 0.05, so the hypothesis and research objectives were accepted. So, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the intensity of smartphone use on the social interaction of students class of 2021, Faculty of Psychology, Raden Fatah University, Palembang.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of motivational training on the academic achievement of psychology students at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. A total of 30 students were selected using probability sampling techniques, and a pretest-posttest design was used in this research. The results show that motivational training does not have a significant effect in improving academic achievement. The pretest scores show a normal distribution, but the posttest scores are not normal. In addition, the correlation between pretest and posttest is very low. Therefore, further research is needed with a larger sample and different methods to validate the findings of this study.
