Abstract

This research aims to describe profitability, liquidity, capital structure, and firm value; analyze the influence of profitability on capital structure; analyze the influence of liquidity on capital structure; analyze the influence of profitability on firm value; analyze the influence of liquidity on firm value; analyze the influence of capital structure on firm value; analyze the indirect effect of profitability on firm value through capital structure; and analyze the indirect effect of liquidity on firm value through capital structure. The population in this study consists of 27 listed companies. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with criteria that provide financial reports for 4 years, from 2019 to 2022. Based on these criteria, a total of 13 companies were selected as samples. The data analysis technique used is path analysis. The results of the analysis show that profitability has a significant influence on capital structure. However, liquidity does not have a significant influence on capital structure. Profitability does not have a significant influence on firm value, whereas liquidity has a significant influence on firm value. Capital structure does not have a significant influence on firm value. Additionally, profitability does not have an indirect influence on firm value through capital structure, and neither does liquidity.

Abstract

The development of science and knowledge that is increasingly modern is one of the things that is quite beneficial in all aspects of life. With technological advancements, every country is competing to improve development in an effort to realize the welfare of its population. The use of data in this study is secondary data sourced from the World Bank and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The results of this research found that variables, government spending in the education sector had a significant impact while GDP and government expenditure in the health sector did not have a significant impact on the HDI of five ASEAN countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam. The impact of GDP, government spending on education, and government spending on health on the quality of human development in five ASEAN countries are the targets of this study.

Abstract

The problem of domestic violence or commonly abbreviated as domestic violence is sometimes not a problem for 2 people, both perpetrators and victims, but often this domestic violence can be a problem for the community to participate in solving it. One of the parties who usually participates in solving domestic violence cases is Bhabinkatibmas. In addition to Bhabinkamtibmas, the participating parties include the families of both perpetrators and victims, village heads, hamlet heads or neighborhood heads, community leaders and Bhabinkamtibmas itself. The police as one of the law enforcement officers responsible for law enforcement have the duty to carry out law enforcement, one of which is in acts of domestic violence and conduct investigations and provide protection for victims of domestic violence. The formulation of the problem in this study is: 1. What is the Role of Bhabinkamtibmas in Resolving Domestic Violence in the Rokan Hilir area? 2. What are the obstacles faced by Bhabinkamtibmas in tackling Domestic Violence in Rokan Hilir area? This study used Sociological juridical legal research. This sociological juridical legal research is conceptualized as the manifestation of symbolic meanings of social actors as seen in their interactions. That the real reality of life does not exist in the empirical realm which is also the realm of observation, does not appear in the form of objectively patterned and structured (let alone normative) behavior and can therefore be measured to produce quantitative data. The role of Bhabinkamtibmas in solving Domestic Violence includes: enforcing the law for the sake of creating security and order in the community itself. The resolution of acts of domestic violence committed by Bhabinkamtibmas in the Rokan Hilir Region encountered obstacles in the field, these obstacles include: Some victims of domestic violence are still reluctant to report their acts of violence, this causes Bhabinkamtibmas as a representative of law enforcement to be unable to do much or make enforcement efforts or conduct investigations because acts of domestic violence are complaint delicacy.

Abstract

Poverty that occurs in society has a bad influence on one's behavior and character. The occurrence of poverty is the impact of reduced employment opportunities that do not give someone the opportunity to do work in making money. One way a person makes money quickly and the easy way is by doing online gambling. Perpetrators of online gambling crimes include various groups, both old and young, entrepreneurs, workers, unemployed, men and women, in cities and villages Online gambling activities have caused many losses to the community. Eradicating online gambling is not an easy thing, this requires the role of responsive stakeholders in eradicating online gambling. Furthermore, each competent party in their field must continue to coordinate with ministries and institutions, digital platforms, cellular operators and internet service providers, banks and financial service providers for handling online gambling. The type of research used is the type of normative legal research. Normative law research uses normative case studies in the form of legal behavior products, for example reviewing laws. Results of discussion 1. Legal regulations regarding online gambling are reviewed from Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE) Article 27 paragraph (2): everyone intentionally and without rights distributes and or transmits and or makes accessible electronic information and / or electronic documents that have gambling content, Article 45 paragraph (2) Everyone who intentionally and without rights distributes and / or transmits and / or makes accessible Electronic Information and/or Electronic Documents that have gambling content as referred to in Article 27 paragraph (2) shall be punished with a maximum imprisonment of 6 (six) years and/or a maximum fine of Rp1,000,000,000.00 (one billion rupiah), Article 45A paragraph (1)Any person who intentionally and without rights disseminates false and misleading news that results in consumer losses in Electronic Transactions as referred to in Article 28 paragraph (1) shall be punished with imprisonment a maximum of 6 (six) years and/or a maximum fine of Rp1,000,000,000.00 (one billion rupiah); 2 Factors Causing Online Gambling are: a. Abstract

The onset of a divorce in a family is often caused by incompatibility and differences of opinion caused by selfishness between husband and wife. In fact, marriage is to unite a difference and fill each other's shortcomings, so that the establishment of external and mental bonds that cause affection between husband and wife in the household. The impact of divorce is not only seen for the husband and wife, but the children in the family are also affected. Common causes of divorce in a family are usually more to the lack of economy, miscommunication of married couples, differences of opinion, no consequences in building a household, third person / infidelity, mental bread, excessive work activities that reduce quality time for the family, lack of attention from each partner, constant fighting, and the occurrence of domestic violence. Divorce that occurs between husband and wife can be caused by talaq by the husband and can also be caused by divorce lawsuits made by the wife. This type of research uses Juridical-Empirical law. Juridical-empirical research is legal research on the application or implementation of normative legal provisions directly on any particular legal event that occurs in Society. Results of discussion: Factors that cause high divorce rates in the jurisdiction of the Ujung Tanjung Religious Court are: a. Economic Factors, b. Third Person Factors/Infidelity, c. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of: (1) employee competence on work motivation, 2) democratic leadership style on work motivation , (3) employee competence on employee performance, (4) democratic leadership style on employee performance, (5) work motivation on employee performance, (6) employee competence on employee performance through work motivation, (7) democratic leadership style to employee performance through work motivation. Using an explanatory research approach, this research was conducted at the Mojokerto City Regional Secretariat Office in April-August 2023. The population is 108 civil servants in the Office. The sample was determined by saturated/census sampling technique of 108 people (excluding the author). Primary data related to research variables were obtained by giving questionnaires directly to respondents. Once the data is collected, it is analyzed using Warp PLS 8. However, validity and reliability tests were previously carried out. The results of this study prove that: (1) employee competence has a significant positive effect on work motivation, (2) democratic leadership style has a significant positive effect on work motivation, (3) employee competence has a significant positive effect on employee performance, (4) democratic leadership style has a significant positive effect on employee performance, (5) work motivation has a significant positive effect on employee performance, (6) work motivation Unable to increase the influence of employee competence on employee performance, (7) Work motivation is unable to increase the influence of democratic leadership style on employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know about the Application of Legal Sanctions against stolen goods collectors according to the Criminal Code. The research method used in this writing is Normative Law research. Results of Discussion: Application of legal sanctions against the criminal act of possession of stolen goods in accordance with the provisions of Article 480 of the Criminal Code by fulfilling the following elements: a) Whose goods, defined as a person or perpetrator of the procurement of goods; b) Buying goods, defined as the act of purchasing goods where the goods are the result of a crime. c) It is appropriate or known and suspected that the goods obtained from the act of crime, means that it is appropriate for the buyer to have a suspicion that the goods purchased are the proceeds of crime. The judge's consideration in determining the responsibility of the perpetrator of the prosecution through the evidentiary power of legal evidence. The legal evidence used is the proceeds of crime, witness statements, expert witnesses, letters and statements of the accused. Legal sanctions for the container of stolen goods are punishable by imprisonment for a maximum of 4 (four) years or a maximum fine of Rp.900,- (nine hundred rupiah). However, the holder of stolen goods in the light category, as mentioned in Article 482 of the Criminal Code, has a maximum penalty of three months or a maximum fine of Rp. 900,- (nine hundred rupiah).

Abstract

Traffic violations are committed not only on adults, even including the age of children also commit many traffic violations. Legal sanctions for violators will be imposed, both administrative criminal sanctions and imprisonment sanctions. Juridically, violators will be subject to imprisonment for a maximum of 1 (one) year and/or a maximum fine of IDR 2,000,000.00 (two million rupiah) in accordance with Article 229 paragraph (3) of Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation. The law imposes imprisonment, confinement and fines for traffic violations in the Bangko police station. In addition, criminals and perpetrators of traffic violations can be sentenced to additional crimes in the form of revocation of driver's licenses or compensation for losses caused by criminal acts or traffic violations, but this enforcement is intended for traffic offenders who are adults. Meanwhile, criminal liability for perpetrators of traffic violations committed by school children in the jurisdiction of the Bangko Police Station, usually first looks at the elements, namely intentional or not or negligence that results in the occurrence of the violation, it will affect the legal action that will be taken by the Bangko Police Station for traffic violators. For criminal law liability for traffic violations committed by school children in the jurisdiction of Bangko Police Station, violators of the age category of school children are only given criminal sanctions in accordance with applicable legal provisions.

Abstract

Nurses are medical personnel and important pioneers in public health services in hospitals. To achieve the ideals and goals of the hospital, it is very important for the hospital to be able to maximize the performance of every employee, including nurses. Performance is the process and result of an activity carried out by employees with their capabilities to meet the standards or indicators set in an effort to support the company in achieving its goals. There are many variables that can influence performance, one of which is work stress. Nurses who experience emotional, mental and physical disorders caused by the work environment, workload and demands from superiors can be said to be experiencing symptoms of work stress. Nurses who have symptoms of work stress and do not have good stress coping mechanisms will tend to decrease their performance. The aim of this research is to find out how work stress influences the performance of nurses in the Wijaya Kusuma Inpatient Room at Baptist Kediri Hospital. This research uses quantitative research methods. The sampling method in this research used probability simple random sampling and used a sample of 33 people. The instrument and data collection in this research used a scale of perceptions of work stress (Robbbins & Judge, 2017) and performance (Koopsmans, 2014). In testing this hypothesis, the results obtained were R2 = 0.220 (p<0.05). These findings indicate that nurses in the Wijaya Kusuma Room at Baptist Hospital Kediri have a significant level of work stress which has an influence on performance.

Abstract

To advance a company requires maximum contribution from an employee, one of the things that underlies the positive contribution of employees is Loyalty. Loyalty employees is a form of appreciation from employees for the place where they work where they feel a sense of comfort and pride in working. Loyalty can be influenced by many variables, one of that which is quality of work life. Employees with a sense of comfort, experience, satisfaction are things that trigger loyalty in employees. Employees with good quality of work life tend can make better contributions, The purpose of this study is to determine how the quality of work life affects employee loyalty at PT.X Magelang City. This research uses quantitative method with a sample of 40 employees who work at PT.X Magelang City. To measure the quality of work life variable, 8 dimensions of Walton's findings were used, while the loyalty variable used the Employee Loyalty measurement method of Dutta & Dhir. In hypothesis testing, the result obtained is R2 = 17.052 (p<0.05). This finding shows that employees of PT.X Magelang company can work more optimally when they have aspects of loyalty arising from a good sense of quality of work life.
