Pelita: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dengan nomor ISSN 2775-0094 (online) adalah jurnal multidisiplin ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Perkumpulan Kualitama Edukatika Indonesia. Pelita: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat merupakan jurnal nasional yang memiliki fokus utama pada pengembangan ilmu-ilmu di bidang pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Lingkup bidang pengabdian kepada masyarakat antara lain meliputi pelatihan, pemasaran, keamanan pangan lokal, Teknologi Tepat Guna (TTG), desain, pemberdayaan masyarakat, akses sosial, daerah perbatasan, daerah kurang berkembang, dan pendidikan untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat berisi berbagai kegiatan penanganan dan pengelolaan berbagai potensi, kendala, tantangan, dan masalah yang ada di masyarakat. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian juga melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat dan mitra. Kegiatan pengabdian tersebut disusun dalam suatu kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Tujuan dari publikasi jurnal ini adalah untuk menyebarluaskan pemikiran konseptual atau ide-ide yang telah dicapai di bidang pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Pelita: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat terbit empat kali dalam satu tahun yaitu pada bulan Januari, April, Juli, dan Oktober.

Abstract

A Garbage is one of the environmental problems that has yet to be seen in Indonesia. Garbage is one of the causes of air pollution, water pollution, and soil pollution. The problem of waste is also a concern of the district government, including Takalar Regency, especially the Department of Cleanliness and the Environment. The waste management policy in Takalar Regency is contained in the Takalar Regent's Regulation Number 65 of 2018 concerning Policies and Strategies of the Takalar Regency Government in the Management of Household Waste and Types of Household Waste. As a follow-up to the policy, it is also necessary to have active participation from academics to provide enlightenment to the public about the dangers of waste, especially food waste which is addressed to residents of Manyingarri Housing. The purpose of this service is to invite the public to have knowledge and awareness in reducing the risk of food waste by utilizing it into compost that can be used by farmers who live around the housing complex area. The methods used in this activity are discussion, question and answer, and direct door-to-door visits. This service received an enthusiastic response from the government, community leaders, and the general public, so they hoped that similar activities could be carried out in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

It is undeniable that access to quality education is not evenly distributed in all corners of Indonesia, including for religious education. Some areas still experience a scarcity of religious teachers, especially Hindu teachers and are still struggling with the problem of concerning levels of education. One of those areas is Banjar Tegal Sari, Labuhan Badas Village, Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara. This community service activity is carried out with counseling which aims to provide additional knowledge, skills, and positive attitudes about Hinduism, the importance of education for the younger generation, and how to carry out their role as good Hindus in religious, social, and state life. Counseling is carried out with materials and methods that are in accordance with the conditions and needs of the community, also adapted to the age group of the participants. The result of this community service is that all age groups gained a better understanding of Hinduism and its application in daily life as well as the importance of education for self-improvement. This result is the basis for the community to carry out the duty of their respective religions and the duty of their respective country.

Abstract

The Research Program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka and the Community Dedication based on Research Result is implemented in society. In previous study, Tempuyung and Breadfruit leaves contain flavonoid which can shed kidney stones. The dried Breadfruit leaves contains higher potassium rather than the fresh ones and it’s about 573,68 mg/kg. Ca oxalate was 81.73 % soluble in boiling water of leaf’s breadfruit tea when it consumed once a day for seven days. The method for increasing the production of kidney stone laxative herbal medicines have three steps: preparing the team and partner there are GAPOKTAN Mekar Makmur and Group of society RW VI Krapyak, Semarang. The results of this study need to implemented in society. The step of implementation held in RW VI hall, practice making product of tea bag and brew, also making reports. Based on the questionnaire data, the benefits of this program increase public knowledge about Tempuyung and Breadfruit leaves for shedding kidney stones. The average of increasing knowledge about Breadfruit and Tempuyung leaf goods is 28%, 44% packaging and labelling, and 45% in product marketing. The output is documentation videos, publication in social media, journal community service also the product tea bag and brew of Tempuyung and Breadfruit leaves as well as the other herbal drinks (turmeric, ginger and temulawak).

Abstract

Empowerment of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises aims to support initiatives in implementing micro small and medium enterprises. Thus, increasing the income of low- and middle-income people, and creating jobs. However, the existing Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, especially in Labulanda Village, West Kulisusu District, and North Buton District, have not been able to reduce the unemployment rate. So that entrepreneurship training is needed for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Labulanda Village, North Buton Regency. The method and implementation of this activity include conducting training discussions and coordination first with the Lurah as the partner in charge, then holding a conference to discuss the implementation and goals of the local community. For Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, this service provides marketing and entrepreneurship training in Labulanda Village, West Kulisusu District, North Buton Regency. The results of this activity show how to assess the effectiveness of the overall training program. Indicators of the success of training activities show that 80% of participants can understand business strategies, entrepreneurial tactics, and product marketing aimed at consumers.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a severe global recession with differential impacts within and across countries. As of August 2020, Indonesia’s COVID-19 case-fatality rate is higher than the world average. Preventive measures for the spread of infection in the form of physical distancing implemented in all educational facilities force educators and students to develop online learning technology, according to the Circular Letter of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 4 of 2020. Changes in learning patterns pose problems for the academic community, including in schools. Bogor Telecomedika Vocational High School. Difficulties arise not only because of the lack of skill of students and teachers in using technology, but also the increased workload due to the number of subjects and the workload that must be completed. Objective: As an Indonesian who lives in a country with abundant natural resources, the use of medicinal plants as an immune enhancer is an alternative to improve health. Methods: This activity was conducted at the Vocational School of Telekomedika in the form of a webinar with 129 participants. The theme of the webinar contains socialization and education about plants that are efficacious for enhancing immunity and making herbal medicine as one of the implementations of their use, as well as providing information about herbal product entrepreneurship. Results: This activity had a positive impact on 80.6% of participants in significantly increasing knowledge about nutritious plants and skills in processing natural ingredients into herbal medicine for body immunity.
