Abstract

Pola komunikasi yang tidak efektif dalam keluarga dapat menyebabkan anggota keluarga tidak saling mengenal dengan baik satu sama lain, sehingga sulit untuk saling memahami dan merasakan kelekatan, keluarga menjadi tidak hangat dan suasana rumah kurang menyenangkan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Dusun Jenggala, Desa Bilebante, Kecamatan Pringgarata, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, Nusa Tenggara Barat ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi masyarakat melalui penyuluhan tentang penerapan psikologi komunikasi dalam keluarga untuk mencapai keluarga sukinah. Penyuluhan dilakukan dengan materi dan metode yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi dan kebutuhan masyarakat dan kelompok usia yang terdiri dari ceramah, diskusi, bernyanyi dan bercerita, pendampingan, dan konseling. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat memperoleh: (1) pengetahuan yang lebih baik tentang peran psikologi komunikasi dalam menghasilkan keluarga sukinah, (2) bekal keterampilan untuk dapat menerapkan psikologi komunikasi dalam keluarga, (3) sikap positif dan komitmen untuk berupaya menerapkan psikologi komunikasi demi tercapainya keluarga yang sukinah. Ineffective communication patterns in the family can cause family members do not know each other well, making it difficult to understand each other and feel attachment, the family and home atmosphere is not warm and less pleasant. This community service activity in Jenggala, Bilebante Village, Pringgarata District, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara Barat aims to educate the community through counseling about the application of communication psychology in the family to achieve a sukinah family. Counseling is carried out with materials and methods adapted to the conditions and needs of the community and age groups, consisting of lectures, discussions, singing and storytelling, mentoring, and counseling. The results of this community service activity are that the community gains: (1) better knowledge about the role of communication psychology in forming a sukinah family, (2) provision of skills to be able to apply communication psychology in the familu, and (3) a positive attitude and commitment to trying to apply communication psychology in order to achieve a happy family.

Abstract

Science learning for early childhood is very important to develop children's curiosity and understanding of the world around them. Through science learning, children can develop logical thinking skills, observation, and experimentation. The focus of this service is to integrate science learning with STEAM through simple science practices. The purpose of this service is to integrate science grounding with the STEAM Approach and the importance of science learning obtained for early childhood with simple science learning practices. The method used in this service is the counselling method and the simple science practice method. The results of this service are 1). Implement Holistic Learning, 2). Exploring the development of 21st Century Skills, 3) Increasing children's interest in learning science, 4). Active and Fun Learning, 5) Developing Creativity and Innovation in learning.

Abstract

It is undeniable that access to quality education is not evenly distributed in all corners of Indonesia, including for religious education. Some areas still experience a scarcity of religious teachers, especially Hindu teachers and are still struggling with the problem of concerning levels of education. One of those areas is Banjar Tegal Sari, Labuhan Badas Village, Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara. This community service activity is carried out with counseling which aims to provide additional knowledge, skills, and positive attitudes about Hinduism, the importance of education for the younger generation, and how to carry out their role as good Hindus in religious, social, and state life. Counseling is carried out with materials and methods that are in accordance with the conditions and needs of the community, also adapted to the age group of the participants. The result of this community service is that all age groups gained a better understanding of Hinduism and its application in daily life as well as the importance of education for self-improvement. This result is the basis for the community to carry out the duty of their respective religions and the duty of their respective country.

Abstract

The inculcation of religious and moral values in early childhood refers to a process or way to introduce and accustom early childhood to be able to show praiseworthy behavior, which is in accordance with the teachings of the religion it adheres to and does not contradict the prevailing norms. It needs to be done from an early age so that children will be able to behave and form habits of good behavior. This is important so that the next generation will become a generation who are intelligent and have a commendable character both as religious people and as members of the community. This process must be carried out in accordance with the psychological conditions and stages of child development as described in the early childhood developmental psychology, not according to the wishes of the parents or teachers. It is crucial that children are actively involved in the whole process happily and voluntarily so that the results obtained will be maximized. If the child feels forced or tortured in the process, it is likely that the developmental tasks related to religious and moral aspects will fail to be fulfilled. Therefore, it is important for parents and teachers to master the developmental psychology of early childhood so that they are able to understand the task of religious and moral development in early childhood in order to facilitate the proper stimulation to achieve it.

Abstract

Early childhood education is a shared responsibility of various parties; not only thegovernment, but also schools, teachers and families (parents). During online learning, learningactivities at home are part of the responsibiliy of the parents. This study aims to determine thestrategies used by parents in accompanying their children during online learning at home. Thisresearch uses descriptive exploration techniques with qualitative analysis. Data collection wascarried out in three different early childhood education institutions (PAUD). The results of the dataanalysis shows that TK A carries out full online learning and uses mentoring strategies by parentsincluding preparing learning equipments, monitoring children during learning, and explainingsubjects that are not understood by the children. PAUD B applies semi-online learning using astrategy: parents take and collect children’s homework every Monday. Meanwhile, PAUD Cimplements offline learning with a mentoring strategy in which the teacher conducts home visits.Parents in PAUD C have a role to supervise their children in learning, where parents come homefrom work and take the time to accompany their children, then advise the teachers to visit theirhomes. In general, it can be concluded that basically parents have no reason to not provide assistanceto their children while learning from home during the COVID-19 pandemic. The synergyy betweenteachers and parents is the essence of a good early childhood education.
