Abstract

This objective was to know: The implementation of STAD type cooperative learning to improve critical thinking skills and understand students' concepts in addictive substances and psychotropic substances. The population and sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class, each of which consisted of 35 students. The results of the research are: The implementation of STAD type cooperative learning in improving critical thinking skills and understanding the concepts of students who run conducive in accordance with the planned learning steps. The response of students to the implementation of STAD type of cooperative learning on addictive substances and psychotropic substances was quite enthusiastic, where all students seemed to be active during the learning process. The activities of the teacher teaching addictive substances and psychotropic substances using cooperative learning type STAD are very good in accordance with the learning indicators. Being in the critical thinking skills and mastery of students' concepts after learning using STAD type cooperative learning on addictive substances and psychotropic substances. Being in the critical thinking skills and mastery of students' concepts after learning using the lecture learning method on addictive substances and psychotropic substances. The development of an increase in students' critical thinking skills and conceptual mastery between classes using STAD type cooperative learning and classes using lecture learning methods on addictive substances and psychotropic substances, where the increase in the experimental class was higher than the control class.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an increase in student motivation and learning outcomes by applying the Discovery Learning model in social studies for grade IV SD Negeri Kalinongko for the 2020/2021 academic year. This research was conducted in November 2020. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects in this study were all 11 students of grade IV. Collecting data in this study using observation sheets, interviews, test results and evaluation, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis used was descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The research was conducted for 2 cycles and ended in cycle 2 with the results of the analysis showing that the application of the Discovery Learning model can increase student motivation and learning outcomes. The results of the analysis of student learning motivation reached 77% in the "Good" category and the results of the analysis of student tests and evaluations reached 93% so that these results have reached indicators of success.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential for the implementation of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in science learning for students at MTs Nahdlatul Ulama Mranggen, Demak Regency. The research used a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques by interview, observation, and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis model for further conclusions to be obtained. The results showed the potential of ESD implemented in science learning at MTs Nahdlatul Ulama Mranggen. The data is seen through: (a) teachers' understanding of ESD, (b) integrating the values ??of ESD perspectives in KI and KD in Science subjects by analyzing KI and KD for Science Learning in class VII, and (c) potential implementation of ESD which allows it to be implemented in MTs Nahdlatul Ulama Mranggen. The results of the integration of data on aspects of integration in the three perspectives of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) KI and KD class VII in science learning show that the values ??of ESD (socio-cultural, environmental and economic perspectives) have the potential to be applied in science learning at MTs Nahdlatul Ulama Mranggen Demak Regency.

Abstract

Indonesian student mathematics achievement in International not good. One reason is the learning of mathematics at the elementary level. Many teachers teach mathematics in a conventional manner. The learning method is not in accordance with the psychological and cognitive students. Learning mathematics less provide excitement and creativity. The aims of this research are to find out the effect of using snake and ladder game to increase mathematics learning outcomes in cubical lesson of the fifth grade students of Ngemplak Simongan 01 elementary school Semarang. Learning by educational games is learning with real act so making abstracts concept of mathematics subject are given more contextual and can settle to the student’s memory. This game be expected can improve student’s motivation to learn mathematics subject with operations of integers and help students to learn independently. The research method used in this study is qualitative approach to answer the formulation of the problems. The population and  samples of this study were 12 students of fifth-grade in Ngemplak Simongan 01 elementary school. There were test and non test instruments used in this study. The test instruments consisted of validated and reliability 25 questions. Non test instuments consisted of  observations and interviews. The test results showed that the overall of educational game snakes and ladders on the mathematics subject grade V of elementary school is proper or good to use. The result showed that there were significant effects between the used of snake and ladder games to mathematic learning outcomes in the cubical lesson. The snake and ladder games were modification games which had purpose helping students to solve the difficulties  in memorize mathematic cubical formulas. Teachers could use the snake and ladder educative games to teach cubical lesson so that students could  make it easier to study mathematic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning model TPS and NHT assisted traditional game to student achievement on the social arithmetic material. This study is quantitative research. The population in this study student of class VII SMP N 3 Larangan Brebes of the 2017/2018 school year. Sampling using cluster random sampling technique. The data collection technique is the method of observation, documentation, and tests. Data analysis techniques with one way analysis of variance, simple linear regression, and proportion test a with a significant level of 5%. The results showed that: (1) there were differences in the ability to student achievement with TPS learning model assisted by traditional game and NHT learning model assisted by traditional game, and conventional with the results of ANOVA, (2) there is an effect of student activity learning on the student achievement who get the TPS and NHT models assisted by the traditional game with simple linear regression, and (3) student achievement with the TPS and NHT models assisted traditional game reach the minimum completeness criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Adiwiyata program at SDN Brenggong which contains 4 components in the Adiwiyata program as well as supervision in the implementation of the Adiwiyata program at SDN Brenggong. This type of research used in this research is qualitative research that is presented descriptively. The research subjects in this study were the principal, the Adiwiyata team, classroom teachers, school guards and students at SDN Brenggong. The data technique used was observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study include data, data reduction, data collection, and data collection. Test the validity of the data using the Miles and Huberman model with the use of reference materials, namely interview data supported by recorded interviews, while data from observations and documentation are supported by documents in the form of writing, pictures and photos so that the data can be trusted. The findings show that: (1) the implementation of environmentally sound policies has been carried out by changing the vision and mission regarding support for environmental management and the availability of the Adiwiyata program budget, the application applied is the 2013 curriculum integrated with an environmentally sound curriculum that is inserted in every lesson on the theme and contains self-development activities, namely environmental education that is included in extracurricular activities, participatory-based environmental activities carried out intensively within the school environment or outside the school environment by involving other agencies and management of environmentally friendly supporting facilities carried out intensively by school residents; and (2) constraints in implementing the Adiwiyata program are the condition of students who have not met the environmental sustainability requirements, the costs to support the Adiwiyata program and the time and time of the school members, especially teachers and employees. because they have to work well and have full facilities at school during this Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of mathematics in the area of circles through the Jigsaw cooperative learning model in class VI. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. This Classroom Action Research was carried out for 2 cycles, in each cycle there were 2 meetings with each meeting carried out with one lesson plan. This research consists of planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were the sixth grade students of SD Negeri Dukun 1, Karangtengah Subdistrict, Demak Regency, with a total of 34 students, consisting of 18 male students and 16 female students. The data collection tool used is by using an observation sheet for teacher and student activities. Upgrade result Student learning outcomes can be seen in each cycle by using evaluation questions. The results of this classroom action research show that learning using the Jigsaw type cooperative model can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of the area of circle material in class VI. Students experienced an increase in each cycle with an average score in the first cycle of 69.70% with sufficient criteria, while in the second cycle the average score was 85.88% with very good criteria on the student evaluation sheet.

Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials which then obtain the validity value of physics teaching materials on unidirectional electricity based on science process skills to improve critical thinking skills of high school / MA students in class XI. This research uses the R&D (Research and Development) method. The research stages include the potential and problem stages, data collection, product design, product validation and design revision. These results can be seen from the assessment of the validators as expert validation in the feasibility of teaching materials based on expert validation, based on the descriptions of the explanations of each chapter and the completion of the development of science process skills-based teaching materials to improve critical thinking skills. The validation results include content feasibility with a percentage of 83.6%, presentation feasibility 86.95%, language aspect 90%, science process skill aspect 91.65%, and critical thinking ability aspect 92.5%. The validation results are included in the very good category, so teaching materials based on science process skills for aspects of critical thinking skills are feasible to use.
