Abstract

Sustainable business development through green entrepreneurship and digital transformation is a vital solution to enhance the economic independence of youth under social care. This community service program was conducted at the Youth Social Rehabilitation Center (PSBR) Rusun Rawa Bebek, Cakung, East Jakarta, on July 7, 2023, involving 38 participants (17 female and 21 male), most of whom had junior high school education backgrounds. The program aimed to foster entrepreneurial spirit among beginners by introducing the concepts of eco-friendly products (green products) and digital marketing strategies. The methods included lectures, interactive training, group discussions, and Q&A sessions. Preliminary evaluation indicated strong enthusiasm, with 55.3% of participants reporting that the material matched their needs and 52.6% finding the sessions easy to understand. These results demonstrate an increase in participants’ comprehension of green entrepreneurship and digital-based marketing strategies. The program provides a foundation for further capacity-building activities such as developing simple business plans and mentoring digital marketing practices, thereby strengthening entrepreneurial interest and capabilities among beginner entrepreneurs.

Abstract

This community service project aims to enhance the competence of vocational school teachers in West Jakarta in using accounting software to improve the quality, efficiency, and accuracy of education. This activity is driven by the urgent need to upgrade teachers' skills before the competency test conducted by the Professional Certification Institute (LSP), using the latest technology. The implementation of this community service employs a descriptive qualitative approach through training, mentoring, and evaluation. The training utilizes Accurate online accounting software, chosen for its capability to meet the financial reporting standards required by schools. The results of the training showed a significant improvement in participants' skills, as evidenced by the comparison of pre-test and post-test results. The participants also reported increased confidence and readiness to face the Accounting Technician competency test. To ensure the sustainability of the program, periodic mentoring is planned, and the scope of the training will be expanded to involve more vocational school teachers in the area. This improvement in competence is expected to contribute to better financial management in schools and ultimately enhance the quality of education at the vocational high school level.

Abstract

This community service aims to assist Rufata SMEs in Jakarta in enhancing their digital marketing skills, which are expected to support business growth and expand market reach. The training involved various methods, including interactive lectures, experiential learning, continuous evaluation, and post-training mentoring. The results showed a 30% increase in sales within the first three months following the implementation of digital marketing, as well as an expansion of market reach to various cities in Indonesia through social media and e-commerce platforms. However, the challenges Rufata SMEs face include limited skilled human resources in digital marketing and relatively high costs of paid advertising. To ensure sustainability and long-term success, further support in the form of ongoing training and financial assistance is needed. With such support, Rufata SMEs can continue to optimize their digital marketing potential and remain competitive in an increasingly dynamic market.

Abstract

This training and mentoring program was carried out to enhance the competence of vocational high school (SMK) accounting teachers in West Jakarta, particularly in understanding and applying the Financial Accounting Standards for Entities Without Public Accountability (SAK ETAP). The program was initiated in response to the relatively low certification rate of SMK teachers, with only 60.06% certified in 2022. The methods employed included counseling, theoretical seminars, hands-on workshops, interactive discussions, and on-site mentoring at participating schools. A total of 20 SMK accounting teachers participated in the program, selected in coordination with P4 West Jakarta. Evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test instruments to measure theoretical understanding, the ability to prepare financial statements according to SAK ETAP, and the capacity to implement the knowledge in teaching. The results showed significant improvements: theoretical understanding increased from 40% to 85%, the ability to prepare financial statements rose from 35% to 80%, and active participation in workshops increased from 60% to 90%. Furthermore, the application of the materials in schools improved from 30% to 75%. This program proved effective in enhancing teacher competence while strengthening collaboration among teachers, facilitators, and higher education institutions. In the future, the program’s sustainability is expected to continuously support the improvement of accounting education quality in vocational high schools through ongoing evaluations and more flexible adjustments to training materials according to teachers’ needs.

Abstract

Housewives play a strategic role in maintaining household economic resilience, both as family financial managers and as micro-entrepreneurs. This community service program aimed to empower housewives through financial management literacy, particularly in separating family and business finances and preparing simple financial statements. The program was conducted offline in Batu Ampar, East Jakarta, involving 14 housewives who manage micro businesses. The methods used were participatory lectures, interactive discussions, and technical assistance. The evaluation results indicated a significant improvement: before the training, only 35% of participants were able to distinguish between household and business finances, which increased to 85% after the training. In addition, 80% of participants were able to independently prepare simple financial reports. This program demonstrates that practice-based financial literacy can enhance housewives’ capacity in managing both family and business finances, thereby strengthening their contribution to household and community economic resilience.
