Abstract

Customer satisfaction is crucial in determining the success or failure of a business. One of the companies engaged in air conditioning distributor services received many complaints from customers which had an impact on sales results which had decreased from previous years. The purpose of this study was to find the relationship between the variables that influence customer satisfaction, and then carry out an analysis of improvements so that the level of customer satisfaction becomes more optimal. The variables used consist of customer satisfaction (Y) as the dependent variable and independent variables, namely service quality (X1), product quality (X2) and price (X3) with each variable being measured by an indicator. Primary data was obtained from the results of questionnaires to 72 respondents using the probability sampling technique. The data obtained was then processed using the Structural Equation Modeling- Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method. This result Service Quality has a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction. Product Quality has a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction. Product prices have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

ISO 9001:2015 dapat diterapkan di semua organisasi. Standar sistem manajemen ISO 9001 ini  berfokus pada pelanggan, Sistem ISO 9001 ini membahas bagaimana sistem kontrol proses organisasi untuk terus meningkatkan pelayanan demi mencapai kepuasan pelanggan. Dengan ISO 9001 organisasi dapat mengukur kinerja organisasi dan mudah dalam melakukan perbaikan yang berkesinambungan. ISO 9001 menyediakan sistem manajemen dasar bagi setiap organisasi untuk digunakan sebagai titik awal (pondasi yang kokoh) untuk meningkatkan kinerja organisasi. Organisasi MUI Provinsi DKI Jakarta dengan pengurus sekitar 100 orang yang berasal dari 11 organisasi dan berbagai profesi serta memiliki struktur organiasi sampai kedaerah. MUI Provinsi DKI Jakarta perlu melaksanakan rencana program kerja yang berkualitas, implementatif, optimal dan terkendali dengan pengawasan yang efektif untuk mencapai sasaran visi dan misi MUI.  Saat ini  organisasi MUI Provinsi DKI Jakarta telah memperoleh sertifikasi ISO 9001:2015 dengan  telah memiliki syarat-syarat dokumen wajib ISO 9001:2015 seperti ruang lingkup sistem manajemen mutu, kebijakan mutu, sasaran mutu dan peta proses. Untuk memenuhi harapan di atas maka perlu dilakukan perbaikan organisais melalui penelitian dengan tahapan mulai dari Analisis SIPOC (Supplier-Input-Process-Output-Customer), Analisis PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act), Gap Analisis dengan persyaratan ISO 9001:2015. Penelitian ini telah menghasilkan rancangan visual urutan proses SIPOC, analisis aktifitas PDCA, desain Value Chain serta usulan pelatihan organisasi, ketegasan pemimpin tentang kebijakan mutu, sosialisasi sasaran mutu dan perencanaan pencapaian, dokumen elektronik, perbaikan perencanaan dan kontrol operasional, peningkatan monitor, pengukuran, analisis dan evaluasi organisasi dan manajemen risiko.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has put all businesses in a downturn. This has an impact on the After Sales business such as service parts, accessories and domestic inhouse parts due to the Covid19 pandemic. During the Covid-19 was a very difficult year for the four-wheeled automotive industry in Indonesia where sales decreased drastically from an average of not less than 1 million units to only 600 units a year. This study aims to reduce transportation costs during ongoing business processes. The method used is Milkrun. The research results found that the calculation of transportation costs, it is found that the transportation costs in FY20 are 4,809 MIDR per year because the supplier directly sends the product to the customer so that the transportation cost is based on the distance between the supplier and the customer. By using the milkrun method, transportation costs can be reduced to 3,219 MIDR because the moving transporters take parts from several suppliers that are quite close

Abstract

Perhatian penuh terhadap kualitas sangatlah penting, agar pelanggan tidak beralih pada produk pesaing. Hal ini selalu dijalankan oleh Industri PCaG yang bergerak dalam bidang penghasil sepatu. Jika perusahaan memproduksi produk dengan kualitas yang tidak bagus, maka akan berpengaruh buruk pada image perusahaan tersebut yang akan semakin turun. Oleh karena itu penting untuk melakukan pengendalian kualitas disetiap proses produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan strategi perbaikan guna meningkatkan kualitas produk sepatu di Industri PCaG. Metode yang digunakan adalah Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve dan Control (DMAIC). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk diperlukan strategi perbaikan yaitu mengadakan training untuk peningkatan skill pekerja, meningkatkan pengawasan oleh leader team ke operator yang sedang bekerja, pengawasan setiap hari selama 5 minutes meeting untuk mereview kesalahan yang terjadi pada kondisi abnormal, menegaskan dan sosialiasasi ke operator agar selalu mengikuti SOP, meningkatkan perawatan berkala pada mesin agar performa mesin tetap maksimal dan melakukan pergantian part pada komponen mesin yang kurang maksimal.

Abstract

Kaizen which means continuous improvement, firstly introduced by Masaaki Imai and carried out in several Japanese companies. Currently kaizen has been widely adopted by several other companies to reduce the waste that occurs. This waste can result in unnecessary costs and reduced profitability of a company. PT. XYZ is a Japanese company that has consistently implemented Kaizen to improve several production processes. Kaizen is a must in every process line in the company. In the second quarter of 2019 the company has increased production takt time to 2.0 resulting in an increase in supply of materials by 11%. However, this was not matched by readiness from the logistics of the panel instrument material supplier. This resulted in a waste of the process on the panel instrument supply line to the production process namely the transit area from the supplier to the assembly process line. It is expected that with the existence of kaizen, waste in the transit area can be eliminated along with the increase in takt time and the amount of future production. Plan Do Check Action (PDCA) cycle is a stage used by companies in controlling and managing a standard operational process. . Improvements are focused on how to make the transit area can be removed. After the kaizen was conducted, the results of calculations carried out by the Logistics team found savings in logistics operational costs of around Rp. 160,000,000 per year.

Abstract

Cacat produk yang terjadi dalam proses produksi kaos kaki memberikan dampak adanya pemborosan material, waktu pengiriman produk tidak tepat waktu dan peningkatan biaya produksi yang dapat menyebabkan kerugian. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab cacat produk dan menemukan solusi pemecahan masalah. Metode untuk pemecahan masalah melalui pendekatan seven tools. Penelitian dilakukan pada PT. XYZ sebagai salah satu industri garmen yang berlokasi di wilayah Cimahi Jawa Barat. yang dilakukan selama 5 bulan dari Januari sampai Mei 2021. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui diskusi, pengamatan lapangan, dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Hasil pengolahan data dapat disimpulkan yaitu faktor penyebab cacat produk berasal dari faktor manusia karena kurang konsentrasi dan tidak teliti dalam bekerja; faktor mesin karena ujung jarum tumpul, benang jahit kusut dan tidak ada perawatan mesin; faktor material karena bahan baku mengalami cacat. Tindakan perbaikan untuk menurunkan cacat produk yaitu melakukan kegiatan perawatan mesin secara rutin, membuat SOP sebagai pedoman kegiatan pemeriksaan, melakukan pengecekan barang datang secara teliti dan penambahan exhaust agar sirkulasi udara lebih bagus dan dapat mengurangi panas.

Abstract

The process of receiving and dispensing inventory is a critical aspect of warehouse operations. Effective internal control of this process is essential to ensure inventory accuracy, reduce losses, and improve operational efficiency. This study aims to determine the internal control system in the process of receiving and dispensing PT XYZ goods, to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of the internal control system in the process of receiving and dispensing goods through improvements to PT XYZ's warehouse layout, to propose improvements to PT XYZ's logistics warehouse layout that are effective and efficient. The data collection method is carried out directly in the field by observing the implementation of internal controls in the process of receiving and issuing goods at PT. XYZ then asked questions and answers regarding the difference in the number of goods in the records and those in the warehouse and the causes of delays in the delivery of goods to employees to find out and analyze internal controls in the process of receiving and issuing goods at PT. XYZ. The research data collection technique was carried out by interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the results of the calculations used to design a new warehouse layout with the proposed layout combining the concepts of class A, B, and C in finished goods storage, the proposed layout can accommodate a total of 315 pallets of finished goods.

Abstract

Every company experiences life cycle stages, where this cycle is identical to the Company's life cycle. There are 5 phases in the company's life cycle, namely the establishment or startup stage, the expansion stage, the maturity stage, and the declining stage. Startup Companies are companies that are in the early stages of operating and developing or have not yet operated. One promising startup sector is a food and beverage company startup. Food and beverage-based startup companies are one of the sectors most targeted by investors even though the global economy is being pressured by the coronavirus outbreak. One of the crucial problems for startup companies is business strategy, this is because startup companies have different characteristics from mature companies such as in decision-making. There are many factors that influence the success of a startup company. Therefore the purpose of this study is to identify the strategies used by food and beverage startup companies and determine the most influential factors in the success of the startup. This research was conducted by structurally interviewing 22 startup companies, then processing the data using AHP (analytical hierarchical process) in determining the level of the most influential success factors. The results show that the most widely used strategy is market penetration of 68% and the level of the factor that has the highest influence on success is the individual factor group of 5,111

Abstract

The development of startups in Indonesia in 2022 in Indonesia is increasing. A startup company is a company in the early stages of operation. Most start-up companies are looking for new and repeat business models. The risk of startup companies is higher than companies that have stable profits and market share. Therefore it is important to analyze the potential and threats in the sector. One of the key success factors for this startup is finding sufficient financial resources to develop the idea, especially in the non-revenue startup phase. Therefore startups must seek external financial sources, one of which is funding from angel investors. The purpose of this research is to get the most dominant factors that influence angel investors in determining the choice of investing in food and beverage startups. The method used is the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Factors that influence angel investors in investing in startup companies are product and service factors, market factors, character factors and the background of the founders as well as financial condition factors. The highest value of the relative factor is 1.625442 on the company's reputation sub-factor on product and service factors. The results of the interviews show that the activities and actions of the company's management in the past were evaluated regularly and the results of the company's products were satisfactory, good public trust, and the company's financial performance was also positive.

Abstract

Produktivitas yang tinggi dan memenuhi target tidak terlepas dari berbagai permasalahan yang disebabkan dari berbagai faktor. Produktivitas meningkat bisa diakibatkan karena input yang berkurang, output yang bertambah, atau ada proses yang sempurnakan. permasalahan yang ditemukan pada mesin ring frame adalah banyaknya apron putus sebelum masa lifetime. Batasan-batasan masalah dalam penyusunan penelitian ini diperlukan untuk menjaga perluasan topik yang melebar dan kelanjutan analisis yang lebih terarah. Adapun batasan tersebut adalah 1) pengamatan dilakukan untuk benang ring spinning CD 40, 2) pengamatan apron putus di laksanakan di Unit 2 PT XYZ. 3) Mesin yang akan digunakan adalah Ring Frame G33. Banyaknya apron yang putus menyebabkan spindle yang idle, sehingga banyak spindle yang tidak menghasilkan output. Hal ini berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas, karena hasil produksi tidak akan tercapai. Dari pengamatan yang dilakukan selama 5 hari dapat dilihat berkurangnya produksi sebesar 1,75%/hari. Oleh karena itu operator perlu diberi pengetahuan tambahan tentang penyebab apron putus, dan mekanik perlu diberi pengetahuan tentang pemasangan apron yang benar. Untuk mengatasi faktor penyebab apron putus hal yang perlu dilakukan adalah meningkatkan skill operator dan mekanik, melakukan pengecekan  spring dan bottom roll secara periodic, Penurunan twist pada roving, memperhitungkan lagi setting roller gauge dan menjaga kebersihan bagian yang di lewati oleh roving/di sekitar apron. Pengaruh apron putus terhadap produktivitas adalah tidak tercapainya target produksi, dari target 43,5 bale per 5 hari menjadi 42,7 bale/5 hari, dengan total production loss 1,75%.
