Abstract

The hospital is an institution that supports the implementation of health services. Hospitals in Indonesia are very much started from the private and public levels. The number of these hospitals makes it difficult for the community to differentiate between them. The purpose of this study was to obtain customer descriptions of private hospitals and to find out the similarities between the private hospitals that were used as research objects. The method used is Multidimensional Scaling (MDS). MDS is a multiple variable technique that can be used to determine the position of another object based on its similarity assessment. The results of the Multidimensional Scaling analysis map can be seen that the private hospitals Metropolitan Medical Center Hospital and Jakarta Hospital have a level of similarity in the availability of complete medicines because of their close proximity to each other. As for Tebet Hospital, Medistra Hospital, and Mayapada Kuningan Hospital, South Jakarta, they are relatively far from one another, which means that these three hospitals have no resemblance or dissimilarity.

Abstract

Industri Telekomunikasi GPON di Indonesia berkembang sangat pesat, ditandai oleh persaingan yang ketat antara penyedia layanan paket internet, yang membuat setiap pelaku bisnis di industri telekomunikasi GPON berusaha mempertahankan pelanggannya dan menjangkau pelanggan baru untuk memastikan kelangsungan hidup perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan, harga paket, kualitas produk terhadap kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan, yang kemudian mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan pelanggan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan terhadap paket internet tricara. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan membagikan 100 (seratus) kuesioner di wilayah Kota Baru Parahyangan Bandung. Data yang diperoleh diproses melalui pemodelan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan aplikasi SmartPLS  dengan hasil bahwa yang berpengaruh  positif dan tidak singnifikan adalah variabel Kualitas pelayanan teradap  teradap kepuasan pelanggan, kualitas pelayanan teradap loyalitas pelanggan,  variabel kualitas produk teradap kepuasan pelanggan,   harga paket teradap loyalitas pelanggan sedangkan  variabel yang perpengaruh positif dan signifikan adalah harga paket teradap kepuasan pelanggan, kualitas pelanggan teradap loyalitas pelanggan, kualitas produk teradap loyalitas pelanggan. Sedangkan hasil smartpls dari outer weight dan besar pengaruh kualitas pelayanan, harga paket dan kualitas produk teradap loyalitas pelanggan sebesar 0,607 atau 60,7% dan besarnya pengaruh kualitas pelayanan, harga paket dan kualitas produk teradap kepuasan pelanggan sebesar 0,557 atau 55,7%. sehingga didapat nilai Q-Square sebesar 0,826 Hal ini menunjukkan besarnya keragaman dari data penelitian yang dapat dijelaskan oleh model penelitian adalah sebesar 82,6%, sedangkan sisanya 17,4% dijelaskan oleh factor lain yang berada diluar model penelitian ini. Dengan demikian, dari hasil tersebut maka model penelitian ini dapat dinyatakan telah memiliki goodness of Fit yang baik. Dan desain ulang implementasi FTTH untuk meningkatkan performance teradap kualitas pelayanan dan kualitas produk berbasis GPON

Abstract

Natuna Maritime Zone Region has high vulnerability to the territory violation and illegal fishing, so that it needs surveillance equipment to detect condition of maritime activities real time. Maritime Zone Quarter has function to integrate all of information from each surveillance equipment. To organize early detection system of security and safety in Indonesian sea region, Bakamla RI can be also regarded as industry player, in this case media industry. Information about security and safety at sea in real time is accepted by each surveillance equipment then gathered by the Maritime Zone Quarter and sent into the Headquarter to be analysed or as considering material to arrange law enforcement and public service at urgent situation. This research aims to determine location of Natuna Maritime Zone Quarters based on detection range of each equipment by Centre of Gravity Method, a mathematic method used to determine a location. Calculation by Microsoft Excel© obtained optimum coordinate point, (107,44;4,18). But plotting uses Google Maps© obtained position in the middle of the sea. So that three alternative locations are determined according to nearest distance from the coordinate point. There are Seluan Island (45 km), Salor Island (60 km), and Kelarik Air Mali Village in western of Great Natuna Island (62 km)

Abstract

One of the main activities in the oil and gas industry is the maintenance of diesel engines. There is a special process called preventive maintenance with regular oil changes. The process of changing oil is done regularly which results in B3 waste in the form of waste oil. Considering these aspects, the purpose of this research is to identify the temporary storage of petroleum waste for oil and gas based on the literature and the design of the B3 Temporary Waste Storage (TWS). The method used is descriptive qualitative methodology. The data refers to government regulations that have been made in order to create a safe, solicitous and orderly life. The results of these calculations are used as a reference in the design of the TWS, where the maximum waste capacity for the B3 Solid Waste Warehouse is 4.000 tons and for the B3 Liquid Waste Warehouse is 4.000 liters, and the building area of the B3 waste TWS is 108 m2. The layout design for new B3 waste is done based on suitability of characteristics B3 waste with a suitable building design (may combined in placing packaging waste).

Abstract

The tire manufacturing process, the tire company's amount of defect tends to increase above the target maximum. To improve the quality of tire manufacture, and analysis to decrease the number of defects is conducted using the six sigma concept. Over the last two decades, there has been a growing awareness of the need to improve quality. This paper aims to implement the DMAIC cycle as an element of continuous improvement in tire companies. In order that achieves it, the analysis with the application of DMAIC is done. The propositions of improvements, which can be implemented in the organization to increase the effectiveness of the production process, are also presented. The actions implemented contributed to a significant reduction in the defective tire, which was approximately 67 pcs per month. The study thus culminated in a decrease of 0,08% on the indicator of defects by the production system

Abstract

 The main goal of education is to provide people with access to the knowledge and skills they need to deal with life's difficulties. Many academic fields, including science, mathematics, and foreign languages. The motivation of students involved in educational activities comes from their own desires. Meanwhile students are more involved in their learning when they actively participate in class activities, discussions, and homework provided. Lecturer competence refers to the knowledge, skills, and capacity of effective subject communication. The problem of this research is whether there is influence from learning motivation and student activity as well as lecturer competence on student achievement. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of learning motivation, student activity and lecturer competence on student achievement. This study uses an explanatory survey research method. The research hypothesis will be tested using the structural equation method, namely SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) with an alternative method, namely PLS (Partial Least Square). The results of processing boostraping data, Student activity with learning achievement of 0.328 has a high influence (F-square value close to 0.35). The competence of lecturers with learning achievement of 0.063 has a relatively low influence. Learning motivation with learning achievement of 0.294 has a moderate influence.

Abstract

Due to the large amount of muslims in Indonesia, there is a high demand for islamic clothing. However, the high competition in this sector encourages customers to get high quality products at lower prices. As a result, manufacturers need to implement quality control as part of an integrated continuous development process to reduce the proportion of defects and increase productivity. In a case study, the number of defects in hijab print productis is still high. The defects found were clumping ink, blotches, stripe motifs, and torn threads. It causes low quality products. This study aimed to reduce the number of product defects in hijab print production. This study included quantitative research and used primary and secondary data sources while implementing six sigma with the DMAIC method. Based on data analysis, it was found that the most influential factor for the product defects was the overworked heat press machine. Improvements were made by setting the most optimal machine input temperature and stop instructions for machine to cooling down. These improvements were then standardized into standard procedures in the form of work instructions and check sheets. The results indicated that the DPMO value decreased from 29,308 to 14,000, increasing the sigma value from 3.37 to 3.77. In conclusion, the implementation of six sigma using the DMAIC method was able to reduce the number of product defects while increasing the sigma value, increasing product

Abstract

Proses Pemintalan benang menurut pembuatannya bisa dibagi menjadi tiga, diantaranya adalah pemintalan Airjet, pemintalan Open-End, dan pemintalan Ring Spinning (Goyal & Nayak, 2019). Didalam industri pemintalan pengendalian kualitas dan standar produksi adalah salah satu hal yang tidak bisa terpisahkan dan sangat penting untuk menghasilkan benang yang memiliki mutu tinggi sesuai dengan keinginan konsumen (Dharma, Ikatrinasari, et al., 2019). Untuk mengetahui kualitas ketidakrataan benang TR Ne 30 KT 65/35 dapat dilihat dengan menggunakan alat uji bernama uster evenness tester. Hasil Uster Evenness Tester (J. Li et al., n.d.; Liu et al., 2012) antara hasil benang yang bottom apronnya normal,  bottom apron yang sobek, serta bottom apron yang bolong menunjukkan perbedaan IPI antara ketiganya. Perbandingan kualitas standar benang antara bottom apron yang normal dan bottom apron yang sobek maupun bolong kemudian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan bottom apron normal, kualitas unevenness (9,44%) lebih bagus dibandingkan dengan standar kualitas U% (9,5%), sedangkan untuk hasil pengujian unevenness dengan bottom apron bolong dan sobek secara berturut-turut adalah 9,68% dan 9,64%, dengan hasil tersebut, bahwa bottom apron sobek dan bottom apron bolong tidak boleh dipakai dan harus segera diganti karena akan menjadikan U% tidak standar. Ketidakrataan benang yang memiliki faktor dominan ada pada bottom apron cacat yang dapat sangat berpengaruh pada kualitas IPI yang tidak sesuai dengan standar yang sudah ditentukan. Sehingga pada bottom apron tersebut perlu diperhatikan dan diberikan perawatan sesuai dengan jadwal yang sudah ada atau dilakukan penggantian jika sebelum jadwal scouring terjadi bottom apron tersebut sudah rusak dan diganti dengan yang sudah dicuci. Penyebab dari bottom apron yang rusak adalah karena seringnya Lapping dan karena usia apron sudah mencapai batas maksimalnya. Penyelesaian untuk permasalahan ketidakrataan benang yang disebabkan oleh bottom apron yang rusak adalah dengan cara mengganti yang baru.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the fourth largest population in the world, reaching 275.77 million people in 2022. This has caused the need for transportation to increase, thereby creating new business opportunities for public transportation companies, including online motorcycle taxi companies such as Grab which provide service gates - to-door and order food delivery. However, the increase in transportation needs also causes an increase in fuel consumption, one of the factors causing air pollution. This study aims to calculate and determine the feasibility of using electric vehicles by Grab drivers to transport passengers, goods, or food while calculating the carbon emissions created as a result of these various activities. The feasibility analysis is based on the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of each type of transport vehicle used, using the Sum of Years Digits (SOYD) method, which takes into account depreciation, fuel use, and the carbon emissions produced. The results of the study show that the use of electric vehicles is a viable investment in the long term, both technically and financially.

Abstract

Sepeda Motor Automatic pada PT XYZ, dengan menggunakan metode seven tools dan six sigma.Seven tools dan six sigma sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam prinsip-prinsip pengendalian kualitas, dengan metode six sigma memungkinkan perusahaan melakukan peningkatan luar biasa dengan terobosan yang aktual. Berdasarkan diagram pareto, ditemukan penyebab kecatatan ada 5, yaitu gompal, misrun, reta, blister dan flowline. Cacat yang paling besar yaitu gompal  dengan persentase dari total kecacatan adalah 78%. Penyebab lainnya yaitu misrun, blister, retak dan flowline dengan persentase masing-masing 4%, 3%, 2%,5% dan 2%. Penyebab Utama adalah faktor manusia, perbaikan yang dilakukan adalah, supervisor mengawasi secara berkala pekerjaan operator untuk pemotongan sprue dan gate, juga dilakukan penyegaran pelatihan kembali. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan, tingkat cacat pada produk crankcase sebelum dan sesudah perbaikan pada dasarnya berbeda. Jumlah kerugian pada bulan Januari 2020 COPQ   = Rp 94.860.000,- dan Februari  2020 COPQ   = Rp 99.165.000,- setelah diadakan perbaikan dengan menggunakan seven tools  kerugian dapat diturunkan. Jumlah kerugian pada bulan Maret 2020 COPQ   = Rp 37.275.000,-.       Upaya Perbaikan dari penyebab utama faktor manusia adalah dengan menempatkan supervisor mengawasi secara berkala pekerjaan operator untuk pemotongan sprue dan gate, juga dilakukan penyegaran pelatihan kembali. Pada saat terjadi overtime atau lembur, harus dipastikan untuk para pekerja mendapatkan pengawasan yang cukup ketat, mengingat akan terjadi kelelahan dan ini akan mengakibatkan ketidak telitian dalam bekerja. Dan memastikan peralatan yang digunakan masih berfungsi dengan baik, misalnya palu dan pemotong sprue dari hasil cetakan.
