Abstract

The rapid development of the manufacturing industry has contributed to an increase in the level of business competition. A competitive business strategy is needed to answer the challenges of business competition. The manufacturing industry is engaged in the production of consumer goods. Marketing areas that are spread across Indonesia and abroad make supply chain performance in manufacturing companies very important. This leads to the position that manufacturing companies focus more on the production process and the distribution process is handed over to third parties so that it becomes a very important part of the warehouse location selection process that will be used as a distribution center for goods to consumers. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of the AHP and TOPSIS methods in supplier selection. The method used is systematic literature review. This tool can be multi-criteria able to be applied to manufacture small industries in the advanced competitive world in an era of destruction. Breaking down these tools will deliver cost reductions, improve service levels and will cover more areas in the supply chain.

Abstract

PT. Manunggal Indotek Perkasa adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang mengelola bahan setengah jadi menjadi barang jadi, produk yang dihasilkan Moulding dan bergerak di bidang produksi. PT. Manunggal Indotek Perkasa sering mengalami kekurangan bahan baku sehingga mempengaruhi jumlah produksi, ini dikarenakan pemesanan bahan baku yang belum sesuai dan kekurangan lahan untuk penyimpanan bahan baku produk Moulding. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui jumlah permintaan produk Moulding, dengan menggunakan metode peramalan terbaik, mengetahui persediaan bahan baku produk dengan mencari kebutuhan material dengan biaya paling optimal pada produk Moulding dan hasil peramalan untuk produk Moulding untuk 6 bulan kedepan dengan menggunakan metode Exponential Smothing a=0,2 adalah 548 Unit Moulding. Perencanaan persediaan bahan baku pada produk Moulding dilakukan PT. Manunggal Indotek Perkasa dengan menggunakan metode Lot For Lot(LFL), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), dan Period Order Quantity (POQ), dalam meminimumkan biaya persediaan. Hasil perhitungan Material Requirement Planning (MRP) menggunakan Lot Sizing metode LFL, EOQ, dan POQ, menunjukan metode Lot For Lot (LFL) memiliki total biaya persediaan terkecil dengan pengeluaran perbulan untuk pemesanan bahan baku Moulding yaitu Rp. 2.100.000.

Abstract

In today's free-market economy, increasingly fierce market competition for organizational goals requires all parties to be able to produce the best products or services in; winning the competition is the main responsibility of management. The National Quality Malcolm Baldrige (MBNQA) for evaluating performance in all organizations, which is used to evaluate performance in organizations. Successful application of Malcolm Baldrige's Quality Framework criteria in organizations. The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA) is a method to improve overall organizational performance and continuously (continuous improvement) by using measurements and providing feedback on overall organizational performance in providing quality products and services. The MBNQA not only can be implemented in the industry but spread to several sectors such as hospital service, hotel, education, public service, etc. Implementing of MBNQA in Healthcare increases management quality achieved. Workforce Focus 74.3%, Operation Focus 75.6%, Results 75,6%, have  a significant relationship with sub-category two to sub-category seven MBCfPE as a variable. The software system can produce an estimated score for each analysis approach Approach, Deployment, Learning and Integration (ADLI) for each requirement successive values of 91.73% and 86.79%. the threat to service with 56.11% for FKTP ISO and 64.68% for FKTP.

Abstract

The quality failure rate in the production process in the form of defective products, scrap products, rework, rejection, and waste is an indicator of a company's quality performance, especially with regard to cost quality.  Failure in the production process will increase the rate of defects, scrap, rework, rejection, and waste, which in turn will increase the cost of quality. This study uses the FMEA method to fight identified failures from gemba walk activities. Improvements made using the FMEA method with several recommendations for improvement solutions can reduce failures, this can be seen by comparing the RPN values. The RPN failure value in the extrusion process which affected the hollow or loose PP woven sacks decreased to 98 from 490, and which resulted in lighter sack weight decreased to 98 from 490. The decrease occurred due to the achievement of the process capability value (Cpk) which was as expected ie 1.36 for denier specifications and 1.33 for yarn bandwidth specifications. This Cpk achievement has an impact on a decrease of the occurrence (o) level. Meanwhile, the failure of the RPN value in the weaving process which had an impact on products returned by customers, decreased to 98 from 490. The decrease occurred because the weaving process operator was given the responsibility to carry out maintenance and cleanliness of the machine which resulted in a decrease of the occurrence (o) level.

Abstract

In making an investment, it is necessary to carry out an investment feasibility test to assess the feasibility of the investment plan to be carried out. This study aims to examine the investment feasibility of replacing truck boxes with a larger capacity for distribution transportation at CV Jaya Proteindo. In the case of CV Jaya Proteindo, the method used to test the feasibility of investing in replacing a vehicle whose economic life is almost exhausted is using the Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PP) methods as well as the calculation of benefits or profits. in distribution using the vehicle to be invested. Based on the results of the research conducted, the replacement of vehicles at CV Jaya Proteindo using either 2 Mitsubishi L300 units or 1 Mitsubishi FE 74S unit was declared feasible, because it provided results that met the eligibility criteria of the methods tested.. Both types of vehicles generate an NPV value of ≥ 0, a short Payback Period or 2 months, and an IRR greater than the interest rate of 4.75%. Then a calculation of the benefits or advantages of both types of vehicles is carried out and it is obtained that the Mitsubishi FE 74S has a higher annual cash flow and lower annual distribution costs. Therefore, it is concluded that the investment solution in CV Jaya Proteindo is the replacement of distribution vehicles using 1 unit of Mitsubishi FE 74S which is declared feasible and more financially profitable with a greater cash flow of Rp82,445,000.00 per year and smaller distribution costs of Rp31,548,854.17 per year when compared to the use of 2 units of Mitsubishi L300.

Abstract

The Textile and Textile Product (TTP) industry starts from the preparation of fibers to become yarn rolls (Spinning Mills), fabrics (Weaving and Knitting), and Garments (Garments). There is a defect or production process waste in the process, so it needs continuous analysis and improvement to produce high productivity and improve quality by applying the Lean Six Sigma (LSS) method. However, research in the textile industry does not all use LSS. Some companies still use other ways, for example, Plan-Do-Check-Action (PDCA) and Quality Control Seven tools. This literature review aims to collect systematically from several studies, especially in the TTP sector, and to explain in the existing literature and identify the segments that produce the most publications. This research work is obtained from Google Scholar, Elsevier, Science Direct, and other publications in the world. This paper is based on a study of 30 LSS Sigma articles published from 2013 to 2020 in the world's leading journals. Journal collection is based on the textile industry segment and based on the country of origin of the journal publisher and year of publication. This literature review shows that 46% of journals are from the Garment segment, 40% of journals are from Indonesia, and in 2019, most publications

Abstract

Based on an estimate for 2030, Indonesia's workforce needs are estimated to reach 113,000,000 people. From data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in Indonesia reached 8.42 million people as of August 2022. The highest TPT, namely 9.42%, was contributed by SMK graduates. Seeing this, an action is needed to align learning in the classroom to suit the needs of the industrial world. The literature review approach is used to find research gaps in the application of lean learning in vocational education using VosViewers. Based on the results of the VosViewers analysis and the SOTA matrix, it was found that the use of SERVQUAL has been quite widely applied in the service sector, but the combination of EDUQUAL and KANO has not been widely studied in the education world, especially in LEAN LEARNING research in vocational education.

Abstract

Perkembangan yang terjadi membentuk sebuah lingkungan industri yang dinamis, dimana terdapat jenis produk yang bervariasi dan fluktuasi volume produksi. Kelemahannya dalam meminimumkan jarak perpindahan material menyebabkan tata letak tradisional menjadi tidak efisien untuk digunakan, sehingga diperlukan sebuah rancangan tata letak yang mampu mengatasi kelemahan tersebut serta strategi dalam mengembangkan tata letak, yakni dari tradisional menjadi non-tradisional. Pada penelitian ini digunakan dua perusahaan berbeda, yakni PT. X menggunakan tata letak produk dan PT. Y tata letak proses. Penelitian ini memberikan perhitungan dan analisis tata letak dengan metode rectilinear untuk kriteria jarak, Material handling planning sheet (MHPS) untuk kriteria waktu dan biaya material handling. Hasil yang didapatkan tata letak proses adalah 1.586,36 meter, 175,9967 menit dan Rp 70.423,75 sedangkan hasil yang didapatkan untuk tata letak produk adalah 1.154,97 meter, 415,2947 menit dan Rp 167.403,4. Hasil perhitungan tersebut dibandingkan dengan tata letak non-tradisional, yakni tata letak selular dan tata letak Modular. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tata letak Modular mampu mengurangi Jarak sebesar 45,12%; Lama waktu 24,74% ; dan biaya 27,74% dari tata letak proses. Sedangkan hasil yang didapatkan tata letak seluler mengurangi Jarak sebesar 8,35%; Lama waktu 2,393% ; dan biaya 2,393% dari tata letak produk.. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tata letak non-tradisional yang baik sebagai peralihan dari tata letak proses adalah tata letak Modular, sedangkan untuk tata letak produk adalah tata letak selular

Abstract

Added value to a product becomes very important for the company or industry so that the product produced can compete with the competition. Providing added value to products can be done by designing more effective and efficient production processes. One way is to minimize and eliminate waste or waste in the production process. If this can be achieved, the company can meet the added value desired by consumers with minimal resources.The main purpose of the paper is to know how value stream mapping (VSM) is a powerful tool in lean implementation and to tackle the improvement areas from the current state & purpose the future state which helps in reducing the lead time, manufacturing cost and delivery in time without compromising for the quality of the product. VSM helps firms to understand and to improve continuously to work towards becoming lean enterprise. CV. X is a jeans convection company, this company has seven work stations found in the production section namely patterning, cutting, sewing, pairs of buttons, pairs of rivets, irons, packing, and shipping. The proposed recommendations for improvement are to carry out continuos flow at the work station of the button pairs up to the work station of packing and to change the delivery schedule of raw materials and to plan appropriate safety stock for CV.X. after the proposed recommendations for improvement, the final step is to draw future state mao and analyze the changes that occur so that the results obtained are reduced process lead time to 4.34, decrease in total inventory to 1345, decrease in total travel time to 25.3 and the last is Travel distance decreased to 3.9.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID -19 sedang berlangsung di Indonesia bahkan di seluruh penjuru dunia. Virus berbahaya yang berasal dari negara Cina ini sudah membuat aktivitas manusia mengalami perubahan besar. Aktivitas yang biasanya dikerjakan secara normal, saat ini harus dikerjakan dengan banyak keterbatasan seperti lockdown, menjaga jarak, menggunakan masker dan lain sebagainya. Ketaatan dan kepatuhan orang untuk mengendalikan tindakan dipengaruhi oleh pengetahuan, sikap, dan psikologis dalam memutus rantai penyebaran COVID-19. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pengetahuan, Sikap dan Psikologis terhadap Praktik Pencegahan COVID-19 di Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pengisian kuesioner online yang diisi oleh masyarakat umum dengan metode analisis Structural Equation Modeling berbasis Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Variabel yang digunakan meliputi variabel Praktik Pencegahan (Y), variabel faktor Pengetahuan (X1), variabel faktor Sikap (X2) dan variabel faktor Psikologis (X3). Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa Praktik Pencegahan selama pandemi COVID-19 di Indonesia menunjukkan bahwa variabel Sikap tidak bepengaruh signifikan terhadap Praktik Pencegahan, sedangkan variabel Pengetahuan dan Psikologis berpengaruh terhadap Praktik Pencegahan COVID -19 secara signifikan.
