Abstract

Audio visual media is media that can only be seen and does not contain sound elements, for example pictures, paintings, photos, and so on. (Liza Husnita 2023) Listening is a basic language skill and a stage that humans must go through, namely from childhood, which is the first and main skill that must support the other three language skills. (Ernawati & Rasna (2020) This research is an experimental research that aims to: 1) ) To find out an overview of the use of audio visual media on the learning process of class V UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1 Kota Makassar, 2) To find out the description of story listening skills in the Indonesian language learning outcomes of class V UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1 Kota Makassar, 3) To find out the influence of audio visual media on story listening skills on the learning outcomes of Indonesian language class V UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1 Kota Makassar. This type of research is quasi experimental design using a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study is all students of class V UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1 Kota Makassar totaling 57 people with a sample of class V A as an experimental class with a total of 28 students and class V B as a control class with a total of 29 students. The variables of this study consist of the independent variable, namely the use of audio-visual media and the bound variable, namely listening skills on learning outcomes. The research procedure used is in two stages, namely the preparation stage and the implementation stage. The data collection technique of this research is by conducting observations and tests with data analysis techniques using descriptive and inferential techniques which are divided into normality tests, homogeneity and hypothesis tests. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the use of audio-visual media in the learning process results in a positive impact so that it produces a very good category. The listening skills based on the results of the posttest in the experimental class showed an increase to the medium category from the low category. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis, a value of 0.001 < 0.05 was obtained, which means that there is a difference between the class that was given audio visual media treatment and the class that was not given treatment. Based on this, it can be concluded that the use of audio visual media is effectively used to improve students' listening skills in the learning outcomes of class V UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1 Kota Makassar

Abstract

This study analyzes student learning motivation in English lessons at UPTD SD Negeri 98 Barru. The purpose of this study was to describe student learning motivation. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The population in this study were all fourth grade students of UPTD SD Negeri 98 Barru, while the sample was 20 people with Non Probability Sampling technique where the sampling used was purposive sampling which means that all members of the population will be sampled. The data sources in this study are teachers and students. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis techniques are descriptive statistics with percentage techniques. Based on the results of data analysis, student learning motivation in English lessons at UPTD SD Negeri 98 Barru is mostly in the high category and then in the medium category. It can be seen that the learning perseverance indicator has the highest frequency of the five indicators analyzed in this study.

Abstract

This study examines the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in enhancing the critical reasoning skills of fourth-grade students in Indonesian language learning at UPT SPF SD Inpres Gunung Sari Baru. The research problem focuses on how the application of the Problem Based Learning model improves students' critical reasoning skills in Indonesian language learning in the fourth grade at UPT SPF SD Inpres Gunung Sari Baru. The objective of this study is to describe the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model in enhancing the critical reasoning skills of students in Indonesian language learning in the fourth grade at UPT SPF SD Inpres Gunung Sari Baru. This Classroom Action Research uses the Kemmis & McTaggart model. Data collection techniques include observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis uses data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. In Cycle I, the process includes planning, which involves identifying problems, setting goals, and planning actions. The actions taken involve using the PBL model, providing worksheets and relevant problems. Observation is conducted during the action process to observe the learning process of teachers and students using the PBL steps and to collect observational data. The next stage is reflection, which aims to evaluate and conclude students' critical reasoning abilities using tests. In this stage, it is observed that there are aspects that need improvement and the determination of the next steps. The results of the study show that in Cycle I, the teacher observation results fall into the less satisfactory category, and the student observation results also fall into the less satisfactory category or have not yet reached the success standard. Meanwhile, the results of students' critical reasoning tests in Cycle I are in the low criteria or it can be said that many students have not yet met the success standard. In Cycle II, the planning stage involves identifying problems based on the results of Cycle I, setting goals, and planning actions. During the action stage, the PBL model is used, and relevant worksheets and problems are provided. Observation is conducted during the action process to observe the learning process of teachers and students using the PBL steps and to collect observational data. The reflection stage uses evaluation tests to evaluate and conclude students' critical reasoning abilities. As a result, the teacher observation results in Cycle II fall into the good category, and the student observation results in Cycle II also fall into the good category or have reached the desired success standard. The results of the students' critical reasoning tests in Cycle II show that the researcher succeeded in enhancing the students' critical reasoning abilities to a very high criterion.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aims: (1) to find out an overview of the application of the Crosswrod Puzzle learning model in Class IV science and science learning at UPT SPF at Panikang II State Elementary School, Makassar City, (2) to find out students' interest in learning in class IV science and science subjects at UPT SPF at State Elementary School. Panaikang II, Makassar City, (3) To determine the effect of applying the Crossword Puzzle model on students' interest in learning in the Class IV Science and Science subject, UPT SPF, Panaikang II State Elementary School, Makassar City. The independent variable in this research is the use of the Crossword Puzzle learning model and the dependent variable is interest. student learning.  The research design used was a Quasi Experimental Design in the form of a Nonequalent Control Group Design. The population in this study was class IV UPT SPF students at Panaikang II State Elementary School, Makassar City. The sample selected in this research was based on purpositive sampling, namely students in class IVA UPT SPF SD Negeri Panaikang II, Makassar City. Data collection techniques in this research are questionnaires, observation sheets, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis, descriptive interval analysis, and hypothesis testing using the independent sample t-test. The results of the research show that 1) the Crosswrod Puzzle learning process went well, 2) Students' interest in learning in the experimental class had high criteria after being treated using the Crosswrod Puzzle learning model compared to the control class which did not use the Crosswrod Puzzle learning model in the learning process 3) There is an influence of the Crosswrod Puzzle learning model on the learning interest of class IV UPT SPF SD Negeri Panaikang II students, Makassar City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of the application of the Discovery Learning model, to know the description of civic knowledge and to determine the effect of the application of the Discovery Learning Model on students' civic knowledge in Civics Subjects in Class IV SD Negeri Tidung Makassar. This research is a study that uses a quantitative approach with the type of experimental research and the design used is a non-equivalent control group design and a form of Quasi Experimental. The type of sampling technique used is purposive sampling with a sample size of 40 students. The data results in this study are the results of the pretest and posttest. Data analysis techniques are descriptive data analysis and inferential data analysis. Descriptive statistical results obtained from learning outcomes on student civic knowledge material. The results of the analysis using the independent sample t-test showed that the tested results were smaller than 0.05, namely 0.000 <0.05. Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05 or 0.000 < 0.05 which means H_0 is rejected and H_1 is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that the discovery learning model affects the civic knowledge of fourth grade students of SD Negeri Tidung Makassar.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the implementation of learning using web based Wordwall audiovisual media, examine the description of student learning using web-based Wordwall audiovisual media and determine the influence of web based Wordwall audiovisual media on learning motivation in Social Studies subject in class V UPT SDN 4 Barru. The method used in this research is The Quasi Experimental Design and using a pretest – posttest control group design model. The data collection techniques used questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The data analysis and inferential statistical analysis, consisting of test normality, homogeneity and hypothesis using the Mann-Whitney U test. The Mann Whitney test was carried out because there was one of the data that was not normally distributed and was not homogeneous. The result of the descriptive analysis of the study showed that the learning process using web based Wordwall audiovisual media was very well implemented. The result of the inferential analysis using Mann Whitney showed that the sig (2-tailed) value was 0,024 < 0,05, so the null hypothesis H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. When using web based Wordwall audiovisual media, students were more enthuaiastic about participacing in learning process. This can be seen from the students who were actively involved in the learning process. So it can be concluded that the learning process using web based Wordwall audiovisual media was very well implemented, student learning motivation in Social Studies subject increased, and there was a significant effect after using web based Wordwall audiovisual media on student learning motivation in Social Studies subject in class V UPTD SDN 4 Barru.

Hubungan Literasi Membaca dengan Kemampuan Menjawab Soal Berbasis HOTS pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada Siswa Kelas V SD Inpres Gunung Sari  Baru Kecamatan Rappocini Kota Makassar.  Skripsi. Jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Makassar (dibimbing oleh Nurhaedah dan Hamzah Pagarra) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran literasi membaca, gambaran kemampuan menjawab soal berbasis HOTS dan  untuk mengetahui hubungan yang signifikan antara literasi membaca dengan kemampuan menjawab soal  berbasis HOTS pada mata pelajaran Bahasa  Indonesia pada siswa kelas V SD Inpres Gunung Sari Baru Kecamatan Rappocini Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Inpres  Gunung Sari Baru dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel  dengan jenis sampling jenuh sebanyak 40 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil statistik  deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa literasi membaca memperoleh rata-rata berada pada kategori  baik dan kemampuan menjawab soal berbasis HOTS pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia memperoleh rata-rata berada pada kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik inferensial menunjukkan rhitung  lebih besar dari rtabel pada taraf  signifikan 5%. Dengan demikian H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara literasi membaca  dengan kemampuan menjawab soal berbasis HOTS pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada siswa kelas V SD Inpres Gunung Sari Baru Kecamatan Rappocini Kota Makassar dengan kategori sangat kuat/tinggi. Kata Kunci : Literasi Membaca, Soal Berbasis HOTS, Bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of questioning skills of fifth grade students at SD Inpres Tappanjeng, Bantaeng Regency. The purpose of this research is to determine the description of the use of the question and answer method, to determine the description of questioning skills, and to determine the influence of the use of the question and answer method on students' questioning skills in class V of SD Inpres Tappanjeng Bantaeng. The subjects of this research were teachers and students of classes VA and VB at SD Inpres Tappanjeng, Bantaeng Regency, totaling 17 students, consisting of 7 boys and 10 girls. The data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used was a purposive sampling approach. The results of the study showed that the question and answer method had a positive impact on students' questioning skills. Students show more active involvement in the learning process, better critical thinking in asking and making questions, students will collect questions about material they don't understand, exchange thoughts and opinions on the questions asked so that the teacher finally collects the questions and answers them. as a unit of teaching material. The impact of implementing the question and answer method on questioning skills increases in each cycle. The findings of this research provide implications for educators and in the development of more effective learning methods. From the research results, it can be concluded that the influence of the question and answer method can improve students' questioning skills in class V of SD Inpres Tappanjeng, Bantaeng Regency.

Abstract

This study was conducted based on the problem identified at UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1, Rappocini District, Makassar City, namely the low multiplication calculation skills of the students. The objectives of this study are: (1) to describe the use of ice cream stick learning media in Grade II at UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1, Rappocini District, Makassar City; (2) to describe the multiplication calculation skills of Grade II students at UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1, Rappocini District, Makassar City; and (3) to determine the effect of using ice cream stick learning media on the multiplication calculation skills of Grade II students at UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1, Rappocini District, Makassar City. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design. The research design used was the nonequivalent control group design. The independent variable in this study was the ice cream stick learning media, and the dependent variable was the students' multiplication calculation skills. The study involved two classes: the experimental class (II A) and the control class (II B), with the sampling technique used being purposive sampling. Data collection techniques included observation sheets and tests. The data collection procedure consisted of a pretest, treatment, and posttest, and the data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics software. The results of the study show that: (1) the learning activities using ice cream stick media were conducted effectively; (2) the multiplication calculation skills of students improved after being taught using the ice cream stick media, as indicated by significant differences between the experimental and control classes in terms of test scores and observation sheets. This was proven by the shift in student performance from the "fair" to "good" category based on the pretest and posttest results; and (3) there is a significant effect of using ice cream stick learning media on the multiplication calculation skills of Grade II students at UPT SPF SDI BTN IKIP 1, Rappocini District, Makassar City.

The method used in this research is the Quasi Experimental Design Approach. Quasi experimental design. The population in this study were all class V students of UPT SPF SD Inpres Rapokalling 1, Tallo District, Makassar City and the research sample was 27 class VA students. The sampling technique is random sampling. The instruments used were non-tests (observation sheets) and written tests (pretest and posttest) totaling 10 questions (multiple choice) and 5 questions (description) of the LKPD. The research results showed that the tcount value was 677 with a significance level of α=0.05 and the ttable was 2.021, so tcount > ttable = 677 > 2.021, so Hi was accepted. So it can be concluded that the application of Problem Based Learning in class V UPT SPF SD Inpres Rapokalling 1 Tallo District Makassar City was implemented well and carried out according to the appropriate stages and had a positive influence. This is proven by the results of observations made at each meeting which have increased from good to very good category.
