Abstract

Phenomena that occur in patients under treatment, especially in the emergency department, can indirectly trigger anxiety for families and patients. This is because the patient's condition is at risk of the threat of disability and death, which makes the patient and family want to receive immediate treatment in the ER. Meanwhile, response time is carried out with one flow and problem priority. This study aims to determine the relationship between response time and the anxiety level of the families of patients with red and yellow triage in the emergency room at Tanjungpinang City Regional Hospital. The design of this research is quantitative correlational. Accidental sampling technique was used to obtain 55 respondents. The data was analyzed using the chi square test. The results of univariate data analysis found that the response time showed that the response time was fast for 38 respondents (69.1%), and the response time was slow for 17 respondents (30.9%) and the level of mild anxiety was 43 respondents (78.2%), and the patient's family had a moderate level of anxiety. 12 respondents (21.8%). There is a relationship between response time and the anxiety level of the patient's family with red and yellow triage with a p value of 0.000 (<0.05). It is hoped that the hospital can provide written information regarding patient treatment priorities and the maximum time for carrying out triage in the ER so that every patient who comes can understand the condition. Triage training for nurses in the ER has been improved to make them more skilled and competent.

Abstract

MRI of the shoulder joint is a radiologic examination to evaluate internal abnormalities of the shoulder joint. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a difference in anatomical information using proton density fat saturation sequences and short tau inversion recovery and to determine which anatomical information is better between PD fat saturation sequences and short tau inversion recovery coronal pieces of MRI examination of the shoulder joint with rotator cuff tear cases. This research method is quantitative experiment. The results of the Friedman test obtained a p value of 0.000 (p value <0.05) interpreted as Ho is rejected so that there is a difference in anatomical information on MRI examination of the shoulder joint in cases of rotator cuff tear with coronal proton density fat sat and coronal STIR sequences. Based on the results of the mean rank value of the Friedman test as a whole, it shows that the MRI examination of the shoulder joint in the case of rotator cuff tear coronal pieces of the proton density Fat Sat sequence has a mean rank of 1.65 and the coronal STIR sequence has a mean rank value of 1.35, which means that the coronal proton density fat sat examination sequence is better in displaying the anatomical image of the MRI shoulder joint compared to the coronal STIR sequence in the case of rotator cuff tear. Abstract

One of the cancers that causes the highest mortality is nasopharyngeal cancer. The number of nasopharyngeal cancer cases in Indonesia reached 19,943 new cases with a mortality rate of 13,399. Radiotherapy is the main treatment modality and part of standard care for cancer patients. The way radiotherapy works is to damage the DNA chain of tumor cells in order to kill tumor cells directly and eliminate the ability to proliferate. Giving radiation to the head and neck region has an influence on weight loss. The purpose of this study was to describe the BMI (Body Mass Index) of nasopharyngeal cancer patients who underwent IMRT therapy at the Radiotherapy Unit of Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah Hospital. The type of research used is quantitative research with an observational approach using retrospective data. The samples of this study were 25 patients with nasopharyngeal cancer who underwent IMRT therapy from January to December 2021 at the Radiotherapy Unit of Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah Hospital. The results of this study showed 25 samples of nasopharyngeal cancer patients who underwent IMRT therapy experienced weight loss with an average of 13.01 and BMI with an average of 4.93. Based on the results of the Statistical Test which shows that the p value <0.05 which means there is a decrease in body weight in nasopharyngeal cancer patients undergoing IMRT therapy in the Radiotherapy Unit of Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah Hospital. Of the 25 samples of nasopharyngeal cancer patients who underwent IMRT therapy, there were changes in BMI (Body Mass Index) before irradiation and after irradiation. This is evident from the normality test value and Paired Twhich shows a p value <0.05, meaning that there is a decrease in body weight in nasopharyngeal cancer patients undergoing IMRT therapy.

Abstract

Magnetic Resonance is a radiodiagnostic examination tool in the field of radiology, especially in the medical world. Diffusion Weighted Imaging is a method to assess molecular function and microarchitecture of the human body. DWI signal contrast can be measured with visible diffusion coefficient maps and serves as a tool for treatment response evaluation and disease progression assessment. Parallel imaging techniques involve phased array coils to process signals from a slice, then combine these slices to form an image, reducing scan time by reducing the acquired K-space lines. The formation of Sensitivity Encoding (SENSE) can shorten the insertion of K-space. This study aims to test variations of SENSE values 2.0 and 2.5 in MRI brain examinations with axial DWI sequences that are capable of visualizing anatomical information with fast scan times without compromising image quality, resulting in optimal images. This research is quantitative with an experimental approach. The sample consists of 10 patients using voluntary sampling of MRI Brain with axial DWI sequence and varying SENSE values from July to August 2023. Data were collected through questionnaires filled out by three radiology specialists at the Radiology Installation of the Provincial Hospital of West Nusa Tenggara (RSUD Provinsi NTB). The results of the Wilcoxon test showed a significant difference in anatomical information in MRI brain with axial DWI sequences between SENSE values of 2 and 2.5, with a p-value of 0.012. The mean rank value results indicated a sum of ranks of 280.00 for the SENSE 2 value, demonstrating greater optimality compared to SENSE 2.5. This study concludes that there is a significant difference in anatomical information in MRI brain with axial DWI sequences between SENSE values of 2 and 2.5. SENSE 2 tends to provide more optimal information.

Abstract

Gout arthritis is a disease in which excess gout accumulates in the body, either due to increased production, decreased elimination through the kidneys or due to increased intake of foods high in purines. The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between the role of nurses and diet in gouty arthritis patients. The research design used iscross sectional. The sampling technique used ispurposive sampling. The data was taken at the elderly Posyandu, Dusun Joho, Pasirian Village, with the instrument used, namely a questionnaire. The total population is 40 elderly with a selected sample of 30 respondents. The results of the study showed that nurses carried out their role sufficiently, amounting to 18 respondents (60%). Meanwhile, the majority of respondents had sufficient dietary behavior, amounting to 15 respondents (50%). Based on the Spearman rank test, a probability value or p value of 0.032 is less than the standard significant p value of 0.05, which means that there is a relationship between the nurse's role and diet in Gout Arthritis patients at the Elderly Posyandu. It is expected that nurses or other health workers will be more active in carrying out their roles as nurses, namely educators, coordinators, advocates, nursing care providers, and collaborators in carrying out discharge planning in gout arthritis patients in improving the food diet in gout arthritis patients. . Abstract

Parkinson's disease is a disorder of brain function caused by the degeneration process of the basal ganglia in the substantia nigra pars compacta (SNc) cells and is characterized by characteristics such as tremors at rest, muscle and joint stiffness (rigidity), slowness of movement and speech (bradykinesia) and instability. upright position (postural instability). There is no medicine or treatment that can change Parkinson's Disease. The most effective symptomatic treatment is levodopa, which has better effectiveness on quality of life in Parkinson's Disease than other therapies. Motor fluctuations and dyskinesias later in the course of the disease may be improved with additional treatment. There are 10% of patients per year with intractable motor fluctuations who undergo further therapy, including deep brain stimulation surgery. The importance of multidisciplinary care has been proven to better manage non-motor symptoms in Parkinson's Disease.
