Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that is taking place around the world has changed the order of social life. Not only the health sector, but the field of government order is also affected due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Amid concerns over the transmission of Covid-19 through crowds, the government's agenda for holding regional head elections (Pilkada) is still being held with strict requirements, one of which is the mandatory behavior of health protocols for voters, voting groups (KPPS) and witnesses from various parties involved. The government cooperates with several health professional organizations, one of which is the Indonesian Public Health Association (IPHA) as health protocol monitoring officers at several polling stations (TPS). The results of monitoring the Health protocol in the Surakarta City Election were carried out smoothly and orderly, but there were still violations of health protocols at several polling stations where KPPS officers wore masks incorrectly. This shows that there is still a need to increase awareness and assistance in implementing health protocols for several KPPS officers, as well as being an evaluation note for both the City Government and the Surakarta City Health Officeand the professional organizations on duty.

Abstract

Dukuh Sibolong consists of nine RTs with a total population of 672. Based on the information our team got from Mr. Suharno as the head of the hamlet. The hamlet has several groups of informal community organizations such as youth organizations, PKK women. The majority of the population of Sonyo Hamlet are Muslim and have a livelihood as laborers, but there are also those who work as entrepreneurs because the geographical location of Sibolong Hamlet is located in the highlands. Actually, the hamlet of Sibolong has natural potential in the form of Salak Pondoh. One of these has just been processed into salak syrup. The potential of salak is managed by Mr. Suharno. Mr. Suharno has a market opportunity of up to 600 products per month. However, this opportunity brings consequences and problems, namely the wrong seed grinding machine is not owned. Information about some of the problems faced by the zalacca processors must of course be addressed as soon as possible as a solution for developing the zalacca processing business. The team that proposes service as part of the community who happens to be involved in the world of education, feels compelled to help provide solutions to the problems faced by Mr. Suharno's salak processing business. Through this proposed program of science and technology activities and based on the needs analysis that has been carried out, the service team tries to offer solutions to these problems with a touch of science and technology, namely through the main activity of designing a salak seed grinder to make salak coffee. The solosi is used to improve the processing of salak coffee.

Abstract

Plant fertilizers can be made from household waste from living things such as leftover vegetables, fish bones, side dishes, or herbs that are no longer edible. These materials can be recycled into liquid organic fertilizer. The purpose of the community service held in Baturetno, Bantul, was to increase the understanding of Women's Empowerment Cadres about household waste management and qualify them to process household waste into organic liquid fertilizer. The problems in Baturetno Village were an excessive daily household waste, a lack of public awareness of the dangers of waste problems, and a lack of household waste processing activities. To overcome this problem, the efforts made include socializing the harm of waste problems for life, providing training on how to process household waste into organic liquid fertilizer, and distributing composter containers. This program has increased cadre awareness of the importance of processing household waste to maintain a clean environment, avoid disease spread due to rotten garbage, and increase the fertility of plants in the fields.

Abstract

Posyandu is a community health center extension that provides integrated health services and monitoring undertaken by and for the benefit of the community. Posyandu cadres interact with the community the most, giving them a strategic advantage and an effective platform to spread health-related messages. Good cadre skills are required for this so that they can motivate the community in their working areas. The study discovered that 55.3% of Posyandu cadres in Saptomulyo Village lacked knowledge, and 65.9% lacked skills in stimulating toddler growth and development. This problem can be solved by promoting health through training, specifically through additional material distribution with demonstrations and practices. Cadres performing stimulation at their respective posyandus are assessed directly. Community service results revealed that ten cadres (41.47%) had very poor, and three (12.50%) had very good knowledge scores. Two people received the lowest post-test score, 8.33%, while sixteen received the highest score, excellent, 66.67%. The average pre-test score is 5.72, with a 2.94-point increase to the average post-test score of 8.67. According to the post-program evaluation, six cadres had lower skill scores, twelve had sufficient skill scores, and six had good skill scores, with no very poor or very good scores. It is suggested that the Saptomulyo Village apparatus keep monitoring cadre activities and providing complete infrastructure facilities for stimulating toddler growth and development.
