Abstract

The following research aims to ascertain how entrepreneurial knowledge affects the entrepreneurial interest of students of SMK Negeri 1 Makasar. Quantitative research methodology was used in this study and the technique of collecting data used observation, questionnaire, and documentation methods. Students who have learned about entrepreneurship are the target group of the study, and 72 responses are used as the research sample. The method of collecting data using questionnaire data made based on the Liker scale and validated through reliability and validity tests. Analysis was then conducted using simple linear regression. The results showed that entrepreneurial knowledge has a good and clear effect on the desire to do student entrepreneurship at SMKN 1 Makasar. The magnitude of the relationship between entrepreneurial knowledge (X) and entrepreneurial interest (Y) is in the strong group, which is in the interval 0.60-0.799 and the form of a positive correlation where the higher the knowledge of entrepreneurship the higher the desire to do entrepreneurship and vice versa if the lower the knowledge about entrepreneurship, the lower the desire to do entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of the times that many tours are found in the Bonto Bahari District area, of course, there needs to be a special strategy carried out as an effort to remain competitive with other existing tours. With the existence of Tanjung Bira Beach tourism, of course, it can have a positive and negative impact on the economy of the people on Tanjung Bira Beach. The purpose of this study is to describe the tourism development strategy in improving the community's economy at Tanjung Bira Beach, describe the impact of tourism development at Tanjung Bira Beach in improving the community's economy, and describe the obstacles faced in developing tourism at Tanjung Bira Beach and the solutions taken. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Tourism development strategies in improving the economy of the surrounding community in the form of adding objects of attraction, developing accessibility, amenity, public facilities, institutions, and the potential that tourism objects already have with facilities and infrastructure that are already owned. (2) The impact of tourism development is income from foreign exchange, additional community income, additional government revenue, opening up jobs, multiplier effects, utilization of facilities by local communities, and no negative impact. (3) The obstacles faced in the development of tourism on Tanjung Bira beach are limited funds, lack of creativity of managers, and lack of cohesiveness or community involvement. The solution is in the form of regular evaluations, and receiving suggestions from visitors regarding development and what needs to be developed again.

Abstract

Unemployment is a major problem in Indonesia. This happens because Indonesia is a country with a high population growth rate, which affects the competition for jobs. One way that is considered quite effective to overcome the problem of unemployment is to create or increase the number of entrepreneurs. This study aims to determine the direct effect and indirect effect of Innovation, Entrepreneurship Education, Entrepreneurial Intention, on Entrepreneurial Motivation. The research method used in this research is quantitative. The independent variables are Innovation (X1) and Entrepreneurship Education (X2), the dependent variable is Entrepreneurial Intention (Y), and the Intervening variable is Entrepreneurial Motivation (Z). The number of respondents in this study were Vocational High School students with a sample of 32 students. Based on the results of research that has been done, directly and indirectly Innovation, entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial intention, and motivation have a significant effect on entrepreneurial intention in Vocational Students.

Abstract

This research looks at how the independent factors of company capital, social contact, level of education, and land area affect the dependent variable of income of seaweed cultivators either directly or indirectly. The quantitative research methodology was used to conduct explanatory investigations. Seaweed cultivators became the research target group, and 30 respondents from Pabiringa Village in Binamu District, Jeneponto Regency, were selected using a saturated sampling methodology. The data was collected and processed using IBM SPSS 25 using multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing after the respondents filled out the questionnaire. The research findings show that: (1) Working capital has a beneficial and significant effect on the income of seaweed cultivators; (2) Social interaction has a positive and significant effect on the income of seaweed farmers. (3) The level of education has no positive or significant effect on the income of seaweed cultivators. (4) Land area has a positive and significant effect on the income of seaweed farmers. (5) Business capital, social interaction, and level of education are all profitable and have a significant effect on the income of seaweed cultivators.

Abstract

In general, this research aims to describe the chicken egg marketing channel which includes marketing margins and marketing efficiency. This type of research is included in descriptive research or categorized in qualitative research methods using survey methods, namely describing, explaining and interpreting a phenomenon that occurs in an object and the data is qualitative, namely data that is described in words or sentences according to categories to obtain a conclusion. Source of data used in this research is primary data. The primary data in this study were obtained directly from interviews with several traders in Pannampu Market. The data analysis technique is qualitative, which is done when data collection takes place. In this study, a data reduction process was carried out through the observation process of the marketing channels for chicken eggs in the pannampu market. Then the data analysis was carried out from the presentation of the data obtained during the data collection process. After the analysis process, a conclusion is obtained regarding marketing channels, marketing margins, and marketing efficiency of chicken eggs in the pannampu market. First, from the results of the analysis of the chicken egg marketing channel in the pannampu market, there are two marketing channels. Marketing channel I has the highest total margin of IDR 32,000. The high margins in this marketing channel are due to the presence of shipping costs. Meanwhile, the marketing channel II is the channel with the lowest total margin, namely IDR 22,000. Based on the high and low marketing margins, marketing channel II is the most efficient marketing channel economically. But both marketing channels are all profitable.

Abstract

This study aims to examine whether economic literacy and digital literacy among business people registered in the grab application contribute to entrepreneurial behavior. The type of approach used is a quantitative approach, the data source used is primary data with 97 respondents. The analysis method used is descriptive analysis and statistical analysis consisting of classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, correlation analysis, coefficient of determination, validity test and reliability test. The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between economic literacy and digital literacy variables on entrepreneurial behavior. This means that economic literacy and digital literacy contribute to shaping entrepreneurial behavior in business actors registered in the Grab Application in Makassar City. These findings provide important implications for business actors in the culinary sector in Makassar city. In improving entrepreneurial behavior, they need to improve their understanding of economic concepts and make better use of digital technology. Participating in training and economic literacy programs can help business actors develop knowledge and skills relevant to the business world.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the determinants that affect the performance of small businesses in the culinary sector in Makassar City, with a focus on information literacy and entrepreneurial behavior. This study examines information literacy and entrepreneurial behavior both partially and simultaneously on small business performance. This research is a quantitative study with a population of 289 culinary businesses registered at the Makassar City Cooperative and SME Office. Data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires with a Likert scale. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis in the form of normality, linearity, hypothesis testing, partial significance test, simultaneous significance test, and coefficient of determination test. The results showed that partially and simultaneously the variables of information literacy and entrepreneurial behavior had a positive and significant effect on small business performance in culinary businesses in Makassar city. The results of the study clearly show that information literacy and entrepreneurial behavior are determinant factors of small business performance of culinary business actors in Makassar city.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the determinants of student entrepreneurial interest as seen from entrepreneurship learning and social environment. This study examines partially and simultaneously the effect of student entrepreneurial interest in entrepreneurship study programs at Universitas Negeri Makassar. This research is categorized as quantitative descriptive research with a population of 401 entrepreneurship students at Universitas Negeri Makassar class of 2019-2021. Data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires with a Likert scale. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis, analysis of prerequisite analysis, hypothesis testing and determination coefficient test. The results of this study indicate that entrepreneurship learning and social environment partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on entrepreneurial interest in entrepreneurship students of Universitas Negeri Makassar. This means that entrepreneurship learning and the social environment are determinants of the emergence of entrepreneurial interest for students of entrepreneurship study programs at public universities in Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine Entrepreneurial Motivation in Business Actors at Aeoropala Food Makassar City where entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial mentality are one of the determining factors. The research is categorized as quantitative descriptive research with a population of 119 culinary entrepreneurs who are in Aeoropala Food Makassar City on Jalan Hesrtasning Makassar City. Data collection in this study was carried out using interview techniques, questionnaires, and documentation. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of this study indicate that entrepreneurship education is in a very high category which means an increase in knowledge and attitudes so as to increase motivation in entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurial Mentality is in a very high category which means an increase in risk-taking, and self-confidence. Entrepreneurial Motivation is in a very high category, which means that business actors in Aeoropala Food Makassar City have a high level of desire, hope, and encouragement in running their business. The results of this study indicate the effect of Entrepreneurship Education and Entrepreneurial Mentality simultaneously and significantly on the entrepreneurial motivation of Business Actors at Aeoropala Food Makassar City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Entrepreneurial Competence and Personal Independence on Micro Business Success in Makassar City. The research is categorized as quantitative descriptive research with a population of 230 micro businesses located in Makassar City. Data collection in this study was carried out using observation, questionnaire, interview and documentation techniques. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of this study indicate that entrepreneurial competence and personal independence together have a positive and significant effect on the success of micro businesses in Makassar City. This can be seen from the data analysis obtained the amount of entrepreneurial competence and personal independence on business success, and hypothesis testing has been carried out (t test). The results of the analysis obtained that the variables of entrepreneurial competence (X1) and personal independence (X2) have a positive relationship to business success. So it can be said that there is a positive and significant influence between entrepreneurial competence and personal independence on the success of micro businesses in Makassar City.
