Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the dimensions of integrated marketing communications, namely Advertising, Direct Marketing, Sales Promotion, Personal Selling and Public Relations have an influence on the level of tourist visits to Bosowa Indah Beach Tourism. The population in this study were visitors to Bosowa Indah Beach Tourism. Samples were taken as many as 100 respondents using the Non-Probability Sampling technique with a Purposive Sampling approach. Based on the research results, the indicators in this study are valid and the variables are reliable. In testing the classical assumptions, the multicollinearity-free regression model, heteroscedasticity does not occur, and is normally distributed. The individual order of each variable that has the most influence is Sales Promotion variable with a regression coefficient of 0.281, then Direct Marketing with a regression coefficient of 0.131, then followed by Personal Selling with a regression coefficient of 0.016, and Advertising with a regression coefficient of -0.035 while the variable that has a negative effect is Public Relations with a regression coefficient of -0.064.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kualitas layanan dan harga terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 50 orang konsumen Photo Studio Faramita. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi dan angket. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan Statistical Product and Servise Solution (SPSS). Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan kualitas Layanan dan Harga secara parsial memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kosumen. Serta secara simultan kedua variabel bebas tersebut memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Artinya bahwa Kualitas layanan dan harga merupakan faktor yang strategis dalam meningkatkan kepuasan konsumen.

Abstract

Organizational culture and organizational climate play crucial roles in shaping employee commitment. Organizational culture encompasses shared values and beliefs, while organizational climate pertains to the prevailing attitudes and feelings in the workplace. Positive culture and climate foster employee engagement, satisfaction, and commitment, while negative ones can lead to decreased commitment and increased turnover. This study aims to examines the influence of organizational culture and climate on employee commitment at BKPSDMD Makassar City. The research includes 121 employees from the Regional Employment and Human Resources Development Agency. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that organizational culture has a negative effect on employee commitment, reflected in a coefficient value of -0.272 and a t-statistic of 2.032 (t-statistic > t-table, p < 0.05). Conversely, organizational climate significantly and positively impacts employee commitment, with a coefficient value of 0.586 and a t-statistic of 6.217 (t-statistic > t-table, p < 0.05). Simultaneously, both variables collectively influence organizational commitment, as shown by an F-statistic of 91.416 (F-statistic > F-table, p < 0.05). These findings contribute to the existing literature on organizational behavior and offer practical implications for enhancing employee commitment in similar contexts.

Abstract

The effective development of human resources plays a crucial role in enhancing organizational performance. In today's competitive environment, organizations recognize the significance of investing in the development of their employees to achieve sustainable success. The Makassar City Regional Personnel and Human Resource Development Agency, like many other institutions, seeks to optimize the performance of its State Civil Apparatus (ASN) employees. However, limited research has specifically explored the relationship between human resource development and employee performance within this context. This study aims to investigate the influence of human resource development on the performance of ASN employees at the Makassar City Regional Personnel and Human Resource Development Agency. The study utilizes primary and secondary data from a sample of 69 individuals. A quantitative approach is employed, and the data is analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. Questionnaires were distributed to the ASN employees, and various analysis techniques were applied, including validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, heteroscedasticity tests, hypothesis testing (T test), and coefficient of determination. The findings reveal a significant positive influence of human resource development on employee performance. This implies that increased levels of HR development led to improved employee performance. Therefore, it can be concluded that human resource development significantly affects the performance of ASN employees at the Makassar City Regional Personnel and Human Resource Development Agency.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how leadership style influences employee performance at the regional public water company in Makassar City. The independent variable in this research is leadership style while the dependent variable is employee performance. For data collection, 93 workers of the Makassar City Regional Public Drinking Water Company were given questionnaires and supporting materials. This research uses a quantitative research design. The population in this study was 1,357 people and a sample of 93 people was selected using simple regression analysis using (SPSS) version 25 and Microsoft Excel. The results of this research show that leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Hypothesis test results with the help of the SPSS version 23 application by carrying out the T test.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between consumer-based brand equity and brand loyalty, with an emphasis on the mediating role of customer satisfaction in the specific context of the cake shop segment within the restaurant industry. Employing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through LISREL, this research analyzes data collected from customers of Browcyl’s cake shops in Makassar. The model focuses on examining the impact of five dimensions of consumer-based brand equity on customer satisfaction and, subsequently, on brand loyalty. The results indicate that three out of the five dimensions of consumer-based brand equity significantly and positively influence customer satisfaction. In turn, customer satisfaction has a strong, positive impact on brand loyalty. This highlights the pivotal role of certain brand equity elements in enhancing customer satisfaction, which is a key driver of brand loyalty in the cake shop sector. The study offers valuable insights for practitioners in the restaurant industry, particularly in the cake shop sector. It suggests that focusing on specific aspects of brand equity can significantly improve customer satisfaction, leading to increased brand loyalty. This provides a strategic direction for cake shop owners and marketers to strengthen their brand equity in ways that resonate with their customers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh rekrutmen dan seleksi terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero). Populasi dalam Penelitian ini adalah karyawan yang bekerja pada PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero)yang berjumlah 1.300 orang. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 73 orang dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan Analisis Regresi Linear Berganda dengan menggunakan dua metode Uji statistik yaitu Uji Simultan (Uji F) dan Uji Parsial (Uji T) dengan menggunakan Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Proses Rekrutmen dan Seleksi berpengaruh positif dan cukup kuat terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, yang berarti bahwa berarti variabel proses rekrutmen dan proses seleksi mempunyai kontribusi sebesar 56,1 % terhadap variabel terikat yakni kinerja karyawan sedangkan sisanya sebesar 43,9% dijelaskan oleh faktor-faktor lain di luar dari penelitian ini. This study aims to determine how the effect of recruitment and selection on employee performance at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero). The population in this study are employees who work at PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero) which amounts to 1,300 people. The number of samples used was 73 people using the Slovin formula. Data collection was carried out using questionnaire and documentation methods. While the data analysis technique used is to use Multiple Linear Regression Analysis using two statistical test methods, namely Simultaneous Test (F Test) and Partial Test (T Test) using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS). The results showed that the Recruitment and Selection Process had a positive and strong enough effect on Employee Performance, which means that the recruitment process and selection process variables contributed 56.1% to the dependent variable, namely employee performance while the remaining 43.9% was explained by other factors outside of this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the dimensions of service quality, namely tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy affect customer satisfaction of Goods Delivery Services in Makassar City and analyze the most dominant factors in influencing customer satisfaction of Goods Delivery Services in Makassar City. The population in this study were all customers at the Goods Delivery Service in Makassar City, totaling 8544. The sample taken was 100 respondents using Non-Probability Sampling technique with Purposive sampling approach. The results showed that all independent variables each had a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable. Simultaneously all service quality variables have a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction. Goods Delivery Services in Makassar City need to maintain elements that have been rated well by customers such as empathy, tangible, and responsiveness, on the other hand, they need to improve things that are still lacking, namely assurance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between brand ambassadors and brand equity in the beauty industry, focusing on Somethinc, an Indonesian skincare brand. Using a quantitative research approach, data were collected through surveys distributed to 45 respondents who are followers of Somethinc's Instagram account. The analysis employed path analysis and various statistical tests, including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests, to ensure the robustness of the results. The findings revealed a significant positive relationship between brand ambassadors and brand equity, with the model explaining 48% of the variance in brand equity. Specifically, the presence of a brand ambassador significantly influenced consumer perceptions, contributing to increased brand loyalty, brand awareness, perceived quality, and brand associations. This study highlights the importance of strategic celebrity endorsements in enhancing brand equity, particularly in the competitive beauty sector. The results contribute to a deeper understanding of how brand ambassadors can be leveraged to strengthen brand positioning and consumer trust.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia dibutuhkan dalam perusahaan yang menyediakan pelayanan publik dimana karyawan perusahaan memberikan pelayanan sesuai aturan yang berlaku demi terciptanya kedisiplinan kerja dan kualitas kinerja yang meningkat, pekerjaan yang maksimal dengan waktu yang tepat dan hasil yang memuaskan yang dapat di berikan penilaian terhadap pelayanan publik yang dapat di percaya oleh orang-orang yang mempercayakan kepada kantor tersebut sehingga dapat bekerja sama dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) Pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap pelayanan publik pada pegawai Dinas Penanaman Modal Dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu (DPMPTSP) Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan; (2) pengaruh kinerja terhadap pelayanan publik pada pegawai DPMPTSP Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan; dan (3) pengaruh disiplin kerja dan kinerja terhadap pelayanan publik pada pegawai DPMPTSP Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Hasil pada penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) disiplin kerja secara parsial berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik pada DPMPTSP Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan; (2) kinerja secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik pada DPMPTSP Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan; dan (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan disiplin kerja dan kinerja secara bersama sama terhadap kinerja pegawai pada DPMPTSP Provisi Sulawesi Selatan. Human resources are needed in companies that provide public services where company employees provide services according to applicable rules in order to create work discipline and improve performance quality, maximum work with the right time and satisfying results that can be given an assessment of public services that can be trusted by people who entrust the office so that they can work well together. This study aims to: (1) The effect of work discipline on public services on employees of the South Sulawesi Province One-Stop Investment and Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP); (2) the effect of performance on public services on DPMPTSP employees of South Sulawesi Province; and (3) the effect of work discipline and performance on public services on DPMPTSP employees of South Sulawesi Province. The results showed that: (1) work discipline partially has a positive but insignificant effect on the quality of public services at the DPMPTSP of South Sulawesi Province; (2) performance partially has a positive and significant effect on the quality of public services at the DPMPTSP of South Sulawesi Province; and (3) there is a positive and significant effect of work discipline and performance together on employee performance at the DPMPTSP of South Sulawesi Province.
