Conference on Community Engagement Project -Community service is one of pillars in Three Pillars of Higher Education. Community service is the implementation of practice of science, technology, and arts to the society institutionally through research methodology as the implementation of Three Pillars of Higher Education and responsibility to improve the ability of society. Therefore, it can accelerate the growth rate of the national development goals. To support the practice of community service, UIB Research and Community Service Center organize a Conference on Community Engagement Project (ConCEPt) that is attended by lecturers and students from both domestic and overseas universities. This conference is expected to significantly spread impact the results of community service that are directly implemented to society and spread information about science, technology, and arts to society.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 sangat berdampak pada kehidupan bermasyarakat hampir di seluruh bidang, khususnya pendidikan. Semua sekolah membutuhkan persiapan untuk pembelajaran secara daring. Tujuan dari program ini adalah membantu SMK Kartini Batam dalam penyusunan bahan ajar digital Administrasi Perpajakan untuk kelas dua belas. Bahan ajar digital telah disusun sesuai dengan kompetensi inti dan kompetensi dasar yang telah ditetapkan oleh pihak sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah wawancara terkait kendala dan luaran yang ingin dicapai. Luaran yang dihasilkan adalah modul pembelajaran dan powerpoint yang mencakup materi Pajak Penghasilan Orang Pribadi, Pajak Pertambahan Nilai, dan Pajak Penjualan atas Barang Mewah. Abstract

Abas Electric & Cell merupakan UMKM yang didirikan oleh Bapak Muhammad Hasan Basri yang biasa di panggil Pak Abas, berdiri pada tahun 2019. Lokasi toko terletak di Ruko Tanjung Buntung Blok D1 No 03. Toko ini menjual pulsa, paket, kuota, token listrik, aksesoris telepon genggam dan barang elektronik. Pendapatan toko sebesar 60.000.000 per tahun. Saat ini persaingan dan pandemi menjadi penyebab dari penurunan penjualan, selain itu promosi yang belum maksimal yang dilakukan di era digital ini. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menambah pelanggan baru dan meningkatkan penjualan toko dengan merancang beberapa metode promosi seperti pembuatan spanduk (advertising), pembuatan kartu nama (sales promotion), penggunaan instagram bisnis (direct marketing) dan membuatkan video promosi (company profile). Saran untuk pemilik usaha untuk terus melanjutkan penjualan dan promosi secara online dan dapat bergabung dengan jasa pengantaran.

Abstract

The article entitled TS Dessert Castle Mark Registration Procedure and Process as an Effort to Protect Intellectual Property Law is motivated by the presence of increasingly creative and mushrooming businesses in Indonesia. These businesses are growing rapidly, one of which is the cafe business. A cafe is a place that is usually used to enjoy food and drinks, but each comes with its own uniqueness. This uniqueness can be an identity that distinguishes one cafe from another. This identity is also expressed in a brand. Trademarks should have legal protection. Therefore, the author would like to reveal the procedures and process of trademark registration for cafe business actors in Batam City, which in this case is together with one of the business actors named TS Dessert Castle. Where Batam City is a potential area so that currently there are many cafe businesses that stand in the city. This study aims to produce an understanding or education about the importance of registering a trademark for Batam City cafe business actors. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that Indonesia itself actually already has regulations regarding trademark protection, namely the Trademark Law No. 20 of 2016. Further studies are needed on trademark registration research in the form of case studies so that it can be used as a reference for other business actors, regarding the importance of registering brand.

Abstract

The spread of the COVID-19 epidemic in the world has prompted the Indonesian Government to immediately take the initiative to impose activity restrictions to suppress the quantitative growth in the number of victims. Thus, the closure of educational institutions, which resulted in remote distance and online learning is also necessary. Considering the sudden implementation, struggle among students and teachers during the study period is inevitable. One of the most common obstacles that is found in the practice is due to the underdeveloped study materials. Therefore, in order to fill in the flaw in the current circumstances, this article aims to compile interesting digital accounting teaching materials on practical services, trade and manufacturing in the form of modules, powerpoints, and videos. The material compiled below, is based on the interview, observations, documentation and simulations conducted by the author in local Vocational High School. The implementation results of this activity are being compiled into modules which contain material, powerpoints and videos which have been carefully refined into compact and understandable materials without overlooking the completeness of the subject coverage. The author recommendation for the researcher or observant who is interested in the same research is to include quizzes and interactive questions to improve student motivation and interaction during the class.

Abstract

Center Laundry uses manual records and has never used a systematic accounting recording system to record every transaction. Manual recording carried out by the Center Laundry makes it difficult for the owner to be aware of his financial condition because of the lack of accuracy in using manual records. Therefore, a solution for Center Laundry is to make an accounting recording system through Microsoft Access. The purpose is to assist the owner in running and managing finances. The target of these practical activities is to assist the Center Laundry in designing a financial recording system to make it easier for the owner to monitor the company's finances and be the owner in making decisions. This system will provide recording forms for cash disbursement transactions, purchases, sales, and record inventory. The result of the implementation of this PKM project is to produce complete and accurate financial reports consisting of profit and loss, purchase, sales, remaining inventory, statement of financial position, statement of changes in equity as well as trial balance Center Laundry uses manual records and has never used a systematic accounting recording system to record every transaction. Abstract

This digital marketing strategy is drafted for Toko Central Legenda Laundry aims to help the owner to improve sales, introducing their service in an digital platform, improving market reach, and to promote the services and quality of the business. In the past, Toko Central Legenda laundry was uses a traditional form of marketing strategy. The digital marketing strategy is drafted based on information collected by the author through interviews and observation. The strategy revolves around social media (Instagram and Facebook) and training module for employees. Based on the draft of this digital marketing strategy, the social media account has an steady increase in numbers of follower, steady increased profitability and results are positive.

Abstract

Zeal Indonesia is a start-up company that focuses on talent management which has been operating since 2018 with more than 60 employees. Currently, Zeal Indonesia actively offers careers opportunity and development through an internship program. The internship lasts for three to four months with remote working (work from home) system. The current number of interns is 29 people who occupy different positions. Even though they have dozens of employees, Zeal does not yet have an employee performance appraisal system to monitor the performance of its employees. Therefore, this project aims to assist Zeal Indonesia in implementing a performance appraisal system to monitor the interns' performance during the internship period. The author used interviews, observations, questionnaires, and company documents to gather empirical information regarding the needs of implementing an employee performance appraisal system. This performance appraisal system uses a graphic rating scale method with Google Forms and Google Spreadsheet to collect the data. With the implementation of this employee performance appraisal system, management can assess job behaviour, competencies, skills, and performance result of the interns. This performance appraisal will help the interns understand their values in the workplace. Thus, the improvement of their performance and development of their abilities and skills can be seen through time. Further research is expected to be able to implement a performance appraisal system in other types of start-up companies with other methods such as 360 Degree

Abstract

Pengerjaan laporan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ditujukan untuk dapat membantu dan memberikan masukan terkait pemahaman mengenai pengetahuan hukum pada PT Focus Digisellindo Utama khususnya dalam hal ini pemahaman mengenai pentingnya penerapan Hukum Ketenagakerjaan dalam menciptakan hubungan kerja yang bersifat harmonis dan kondusif sehingga operasional perusahaan dapat berjalan dengan optimal. Dalam proses pengerjaan proyek yang telah dilewati, Penulis mendapati bahwasanya selama ini peraturan yang diterapkan pada lokasi pelaksanaan proyek hanya diterapkan secara lisan sehingga penulis mengambil kesimpulan bahwasanya tidak adanya instrumen pada Perusahaan yang mengatur secara tertulis dan jelas dalam menjamin keseimbangan hak dan kewajiban masing-masing pihaknya. Pada laporan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian yang dilakukan secara empiris yaitu penelitian hukum yang diarahkan dengan melakukan pengkajian untuk mendapati fakta dan data secara langsung dalam aspek bekerjanya hukum dalam fenomena sosial yang mana sudah terwujud secara langsung ke perilaku masyarakat. Yang mana dalam penelitian ini haruslah diteliti dengan melihat aspek hukum secara nyata dan bagaimana cara hukum itu berfungsi. Luaran proyek yang dihasilkan nantinya berupa Draft Peraturan Perusahaan pada PT Focus Digisellindo Utama. Output yang telah dihasilkan penulis melalui pengerjaan laporan proyek pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini telah disetujui oleh direksi dari Perusahaan yang bersangkutan dan dapat diterima dengan baik oleh seluruh karyawan pada PT Focus Digisellindo Utama. Peraturan Perusahaan yang dihasilkan telah sudah disusun secara sistematis dan struktural sesuai dengan ketentuan yang diatur oleh hukum positif yang berlaku di Indonesia dan diharapkan dapat diimplementasikan dengan baik pada Perusahaan untuk mendapatkan pengesahan pada Dinas Ketenagakerjaan.

Abstract

Rezekindo Makmur Sentosa store is one of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Batam City, engaged on fruit market sector. This business is located at Komplek Nagoya Newton Blok E No. 1-2, Jodoh. Rezekindo Makmur Sentosa is a fruit shop for both imported and local fruits. Rezekindo Makmur Sentosa store still uses a simple accounting recording system, namely manual recording of all sales, purchases and stock inventory transactions. Every transaction that occurs is only recorded manually, so that transactions are not systematically arranged and cannot produce financial reports that can provide clear information to business owners. the method used in collecting data is by observing and interviewing. This activity resulted in accounting records designed by student in the form of a Microsoft Access program so entrepreneurs can easily make records and the system can automatically generate the financial reports. This system can also improve business flow to more efficient and effective business operations.

Abstract

The design of digital teaching materials is carried out to solve the problems faced by SMK Kartini Batam regarding the teaching materials needed during distance learning since the COVID-19 pandemic. This change in the learning system causes many students to experience difficulties in the process of understanding the material. So that to simplify the learning process for both teachers and students, the authors of the preparation of digital teaching materials which contain accounting computerized material. The methods used in the implementation of community service activities (PkM) are interviews and observations. The author designed teaching materials with outputs in the form of powerpoints and videos to facilitate the online learning process at SMK Kartini Batam. The author recommends providing teaching materials in the form of modules, powerpoints, and instructional videos for other subjects in PkM further efforts to facilitate students' understanding and also the completeness of the material.
