Conference on Community Engagement Project (Concept)
Conference on Community Engagement Project -Community service is one of pillars in Three Pillars of Higher Education. Community service is the implementation of practice of science, technology, and arts to the society institutionally through research methodology as the implementation of Three Pillars of Higher Education and responsibility to improve the ability of society. Therefore, it can accelerate the growth rate of the national development goals. To support the practice of community service, UIB Research and Community Service Center organize a Conference on Community Engagement Project (ConCEPt) that is attended by lecturers and students from both domestic and overseas universities. This conference is expected to significantly spread impact the results of community service that are directly implemented to society and spread information about science, technology, and arts to society.

This study aims to analyze the development of finished products from cassava at Pondok Tani located in Tembesi Village, Batam City. The problem find in this study is the low farmer wage rates resulting from the sale of crops only in the form of raw goods and finished goods which are less innovative. The research method uses research analysis methods through SWOT analysis, USP analysis, observation, interviews and documentation directly to the location. The results of this study refer to product development, namely MOCAF (Modified Cassava Flour) in line with government programs, namely local food diversification and a focus on products made from cassava. With this Rumah Sejahtera program, it can help organize the duties and responsibilities of Rumah Sejahtera members and increase sales results by 3,2%. Recommendations for further research are increasing the processing of MOCAF (Modified Cassava Flour) into other processed products.

Di tengah pandemi COVID-19 yang menyerang keseluruhan aspek kehidupan dan mempengaruhi keseluruhan aktivitas masyarakat salah satunya aspek pendidikan. Mulanya aktivitas pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara tatap muka beralih menjadi pembelajaran secara daring sejak pandemi COVID-19. Perubahan metode pendidikan ini menuntut lembaga pendidikan diberbagai level untuk mampu menyediakan dan menyampaikan materi pembelajaran secara daring sebaik bagaimana pemberian materi secara tatap muka di kelas. Perubahan sistem pembelajaran secara daring merupakan salah satu tantangan yang dialami oleh sekolah, guru, dan siswa di salah satu sekolah di Kota Batam yakni sekolah SMK Eben Haezer. Seluruh proses belajar mengajar dilakukan dengan daring namun tidak diimbangi dengan materi pembelajaran secara daring dan pelatihan yang cukup kepada para pendidik. Hal ini menyebabkan pihak sekolah cukup kewalahan dan menilai sistem pembelajaran daring kurang efektif dalam menerapkan proses belajar mengajar dengan jarak jauh. Untuk mendukung kelancaran proses pembelajaran materi pelajaran komputerisasi akuntansi SMK Eben Haezer, penulis melaksanakan kegiatan penyusunan bahan ajar digital yang berisi materi komputerisasi akuntansi. Metode pelaksanaan dimulai dengan cara mewawancarai guru mata pelajaran terkait untuk memperoleh informasi dalam perancangan luaran. Adanya bahan ajar yang telah dibuat, diharapkan dapat membantu guru dan siswa dalam menerapkan proses belajar mengajar menjadi lebih efektif. Luaran yang dihasilkan adalah sebuah bahan ajar berupa sebuah modul dan video pembelajaran komputerisasi akuntansi dengan menggunakan aplikasi MYOB untuk dapat digunakan guru serta siswa dalam melakukan proses belajar mengajar. Rekomendasi untuk PkM selanjutnya terkait penyusunan luaran adalah penulis menyarankan untuk lebih memperluas kembali materi yang telah disusun, dan memperbanyak bahan yang akan dibahas.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Many MSMEs experienced a decrease in sales and even went out of business. The Sate Jawa Asli Restaurant is one of the MSMEs that experienced a decrease in sales due to lack of visitors. Sate Jawa Asli Restaurant has been registering their business in go food and grab food. In addition, Sate Jawa Asli Restaurant has Instagram but seldom to updates or interacts with Instagram users. So, the promotion mix is implemented in the form of advertising, direct and digital marketing, and sales promotion using Instagram social media. The activities undertaken were content updates, endorsement, and a giveaway. The results of the promotion mix activities were increases in sales and the enhancement of brand awareness. The promotion mix is expected to continuously implemented to maintain the existence and development of Sate Jawa Asli Restaurant.

This activity is aimed at compiling a digital teaching material that can be used to improve the quality of learning between teachers and students in schools, where the object of this activity is SDS Christian Tabqha Batam school which is an educational institution for elementary school level in Batam City. This school carries out a learning process that still uses teaching materials that are analog or non-digital so that the learning process is continuously stagnant to date. Therefore, in the period from September to December, this activity focuses on compiling digital teaching materials as a solution to improve and develop the quality of learning at SDS Christian Tabqha Batam school, especially for Mandarin subjects. The process of implementing this activity uses observation and interview methods in collecting data. As a result, this activity created outputs in the form of 6 student digital teaching materials which were divided according to the number of elementary levels in the form of powerpoint files. With this, it is hoped that SDS Christian Tabqha Batam can provide an even better learning process for its students, especially in Mandarin lessons. And finally, the recommendation for the future is to create digital teaching materials for all subjects contained in the curriculum at SDS Christian Tabqha Batam school so that the learning process as a whole can develop fully.

Dalam melaksanakan kerja praktik ini dengan tujuan merancang sebuah sistem pengelolahan persediaan yang memadai, efektif dan akurat dengan keinginan membantu Vihara Buddhayana Batam dalam menghadapi masalah yaitu pencatatan penjualan, pembelian dan jumlah sisa persediaan. Perancangan proyek ini menggunakan Microsoft Office Access sebagai perangkat atau alat untuk merancang sistem pengelolahan persediaan yang dapat mengasilkan informasi yang andal dapat berguna dalam pengambilan keputusan dalam membuat rencana atau strategi dalam meningkatkan penjualan. Penyusunan sistem pengelolahan persediaan ini berdasarkan dari hasil wawancara dan observasi yang berpengaruh langsung terhadap aktivitas dan permasalahan operasional yang dihadapi Vihara Buddyanana Batam. Hasil dari penyusunan kerja praktik ini menciptakan sebuah sistem pengelolahan persediaan yang dimulai dari penginputan transaksi pembelian dan transaksi penjualan yang diperoleh dari data Vihara Buddhayana Batam hingga menghasilkan sebuah laporan persediaan. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efetivitas pada Vihara Buddyanan Batam yang dapat menjadi penilaian dalam meningkatkan penjualan pada entitas.

In general, business owners have not seen how to formulate a strategy in marketing that is appropriate and can be implemented in developing business so that this business cannot develop properly. This practical work activity is carried out in one of the building shops in the city of Batam, namely: PT. Rambun Pratama Metalindo which was held in the period 21 September 2020 - 21 December 2020, activities for a period of 3 months carried out to help develop and solutions experienced by partners by implementing and designing the Marketing Mix Strategy. Development planning is described in several implementations that will be carried out, collaborating with third parties in crediting, providing discounts on purchases with specified transaction drinks, collaborating with contractors in supplying building material needs, making product catalogs, and creating customer databases.

The government's decision in changing school learning system from face-to-face to remote/online learning, has implications for a total change for both students and teachers. Thus, it is difficult for schools to provide learning materials, modules or books that students receive optimally. The implementation of community service aims to solve the problems at SMK Permata Harapan Batam and in-depth observations and interviews have been carried out concerning the learning system. The problem faced by SMK Permata Harapan Batam during this pandemic is the lack of digital learning materials for MYOB computerized accounting for online learning which has now become school education system. Digital teaching material for computerized accounting are designed according to the problems that occur in the form of modules in Microsoft PDF, Microsoft PowerPoint, and case example in the form of computerized accounting learning videos in order to make it easier for students to understand the material while helping teachers in the teaching process. The composing of module in this project also adapts to the latest curriculum. This project contributes directly to the development of the learning system due to the COVID-19 pandemic for students and schools.

Percetakan Nalial adalah Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah di Kota Batam yang bergerak di bidang percetakan. Jasa yang ditawarkan oleh Percetakan Nalial berupa cetak undangan, nota, stiker, kalender dan lain sebagainya. Pemilik Percetakan Nalial saat ini memiliki masalah terkait pencatatan keuangan pada usahanya. Selama usaha ini berdiri belum ada sistem pencatatan akuntansi yang jelas. Pencatatan transaksi keuangan pada usaha ini dilakukan dengan buku catatan manual yang mana pendapatan diakui dengan prinsip kas dan kerugian atau keuntungan yang diperoleh pada setiap periodenya hanya diperkirakan berdasarkan nota penjualan dan nota pembelian. Akibat daripada masalah tersebut, pemilik tidak dapat mengetahui kondisi keuangan usahanya dengan lebih akurat. Microsoft Access adalah software yang digunakan untuk merancang sistem pencatatan akuntansi dalam kerja praktik ini. Sistem pencatatan akuntansi dirancang sesuai dengan kebutuhan usaha dan dirancang sesederhana mungkin tetapi tetap sesuai dengan standart akuntansi yang berlaku agar pengguna lebih mudah dalam memahaminya. Proses perancangan dan implementasi yang dilaksanakan mulai dari bulan Oktober 2020 sampai dengan Januari 2021 ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi untuk memperoleh segala informasi yang menjadi dasar dalam perancangan sistem. Pada akhir pelaksanaan kerja praktik, implementasi dilaksanakan di Percetakan Nalial. Pemilik usaha menginput transaksi yang terjadi selama 1 (satu) bulan terakhir untuk memastikan bahwa sistem yang sudah dibuat dapat berjalan dengan lancar. Transaksi yang sudah diinput akan menghasilkan luaran berupa laporan keuangan dan juga laporan tambahan seperti laporan penjualan, pembelian, sisa utang, sisa piutang dan laporan persediaan. Perbaikan juga dilakukan ketika terjadi error pada sistem agar sistem dapat bekerja lebih baik dan memberikan manfaat lebih maksimal terhadap pihak internal

The purpose of this community dedication that was done by executor to Kaca Cipta Mandiri is increasing their customer by 10% and about 10% of minimum income by giving a solution and idea for the problems faced by the owner of business. The main problem faced by the owner is lack of knowledge incessantly by using social media and implement the digital marketing. Usually, the workshop only provides goods by direct selling and worth of mouth strategy so that the business hasn’t growing rapidly and public still don’t have any knowledge about the workshop. Data collection of practical work is using 2 methods, that is survey and interview to find out the business’s background and problems that the business is facing. And using observation method that was useful for concluding the problems and proving ideas using digital marketing using one of promotion mix, that is direct marketing. The media used are Instagram, Whatsapp Business, E-catalogue, and Linktree Website. The result of implementing digital marketing is the availability of social media accounts such as Instagram, Whatsapp Business, E-catalogue and Linktree Website under Kaca Cipta Mandiri’s business name. The implement done created selling record for up to 5% and selling income for about 5% based on inquires over whatsapp business and suggestion for the next student creativity program is the usage of digital marketing that is currently being implemented can be added with more the latest various marketing systems.

A brand is something that is used to get to know a product or company in commerce. Brand rights are also one of the components of intellectual property that align with copyright, patents, and other intellectual property rights. Registering a brand can avoid unfair business competition. For people who live in small towns and do not understand the rules of the brand, it is rare to register a brand even though the resulting product is conventional in wide circles. Brand registration is considered quite difficult and can only be registered in certain places, namely at the Office of the Director General of IPR Jakarta or through the DepkumHAM Kanwil in the provincial capital, therefore being one of the factors in the least number of brand registrations in Indonesia. Riau Islands Province. Related to these problems, the place used to conduct research is to carry out practical work on the CV. Tribina Jasaindo is a business entity engaged in document management services in Batam City. This research uses normative legal methods based on literature studies, then delivered through design ideas in accordance with the working title of practice and data information processing to perform designs on a series of activities. The results of this study show that the procedures for brand registration and its protection are regulated in Law No. 15 of 2001 on Brands.
