Conference on Community Engagement Project -Community service is one of pillars in Three Pillars of Higher Education. Community service is the implementation of practice of science, technology, and arts to the society institutionally through research methodology as the implementation of Three Pillars of Higher Education and responsibility to improve the ability of society. Therefore, it can accelerate the growth rate of the national development goals. To support the practice of community service, UIB Research and Community Service Center organize a Conference on Community Engagement Project (ConCEPt) that is attended by lecturers and students from both domestic and overseas universities. This conference is expected to significantly spread impact the results of community service that are directly implemented to society and spread information about science, technology, and arts to society.

Abstract

Company legal documents, both financial documents and other documents have a very important position for the company. Company documents can be used as a reference for companies in making business decisions. Including documents regarding work agreements. Employment agreements between companies and employees have clearly become a big necessity. A work agreement is not just an oral agreement between individuals, but a work agreement must be legally written in writing and signed by both parties concerned. This is necessary to protect the rights and obligations of employees who work for a company. In February 2021 to be exact on the 16th, the government has issued 49 legal regulations no. 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation (UU Ciptaker). The issued regulations consist of 45 Government Regulations (PP) and 4 Presidential Regulations (PERPRES). One of the PPs issued is PP No. 35 of 2021 concerning Specific Time Work Agreements, Outsourcing, Working Time, Work Relations and Rest Time and Termination of Employment (PP 35/2021). The Legal Contract summarizes part of the provisions of PP 35/2021 relating to a Specific Time Work Agreement (PKWT) and Outsourcing. Legal protection for workers, especially in the Specific Time Work Agreement (PKWT) is basically not running optimally, there are still many violations that often occur in a company due to the unclear rules regarding the implementation of a Specific Time Work Agreement (PKWT). This study aims to update the work agreement document based on changes to Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower and adjusted based on Government Regulation (PP) No. 35 of 2021.

Abstract

Penyebaran COVID-19 di Indonesia membuat seluruh lembaga pendidikan menerapkan sistem belajar jarak jauh. Pembelajaran jarak jauh yang dilakukan secara online mempunyai dampak dalam dunia pendidikan baik dari segi metode pembelajaran maupun dari segi penilaian. Hal tersebut menjadi tantangan bagi para guru maupun murid. Selama menjalani proses pembelajaran jarak jauh, banyak murid yang mengalami kesulitan, diantaranya yaitu akses internet yang kurang memadai dan pemahaman materi yang kurang maksimal. Metode belajar online ini akan terus berlanjut di tahun ajaran baru yang dimulai pertengahan Juli 2020 akibat dari meningkatnya kasus COVID-19 di Batam. Adanya pembelajaran sistem online menjadi salah satu tantangan tersendiri bagi pihak sekolah khususnya SMK Kolese Tiara Bangsa. Dimana kegiatan pembelajaran jarak jauh harus menggunakan berbagai sarana pembelajaran seperti aplikasi zoom, google classroom, youtube, maupun whatsapp. Namun tidak diimbangi dengan pelatihan khusus kepada para pendidik sehingga membuat pihak sekolah cukup kewalahan. Hal tersebut dapat membuat proses pembelajaran secara online menjadi kurang efektif. Tujuan dari proyek ini adalah untuk membuat bahan ajar berupa modul pratikum aplikasi MYOB Multi Currencies V25 (ABSS) pada perusahaan dagang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan mewawancarai pihak sekolah mengenai kegiatan proses belajar mengajar, studi dokumentasi terhadap kurikulum yang diterapkan serta silabus mata pelajaran. Bahan ajar yang dibuat diharapkan dapat dijadikan sebagai pedoman atau acuan dalam pembelajaran sehingga dapat mempermudah guru dan murid.

Abstract

Ahong Grocery store is an MSME that is engaged in selling products that are basic needs of the community such as rice, flour, sugar, spices, cooking spices, eggs, cooking oil, and others. Since running the business, Ahong Grocery Store has continued to experience an increase in revenue every year. But even so, Mr. Ahong as the owner of the business admits that the net income earned is only enough to finance operational activities, home loans and daily needs, so he hopes that there are ways to increase business income. In this practical work, planning and implementing promotional and marketing strategies to sell products are carried out by utilizing social media as a promotional platform in order to increase business sales and increase income. Data collection was carried out by interviewing the owner of the store, and the data obtained is primary data in the form of partners' monthly sales income for the period 2010-2021 along with the products and prices of the products sold. The data analysis method is carried out quantitatively by analyzing partners' sales income data in the form of numerical figures and analyzing the increase in business income during the promotion implementation period. The method of analysis was also carried out qualitatively by interpreting the relationship between increased income and the promotion strategy implemented. The result of the practical work is that the partner's monthly income has increased by 17% since the implementation of the promotional strategy on social media, and the partner's Instagram accounts have managed to garner a total amount of 252 followers. Based on the results of practical work, it is recommended that partners continue to plan promotional strategies and implement them because it is proven that promotions through social media can increase business sales and income.

Abstract

This community service is a descriptive service that helps MSMEs in Batam City. This service aims to provide benefits to MSME players in increasing their business again so that the MSME business can survive and compete in a new broad market, namely the online market in Batam City. This form of service is based on the sources observed by researchers. The results of this service show that (1) The importance of innovating in MSME businesses so that they can survive to compete in the broad market (2) If the availability of e-catalogs in e-commerce services on Gojek and Grab and Instagram social accounts in culinary MSME businesses at the time at this time it will be very easy to reach by the wider community in Batam City.

Abstract

Online learning has become the main activity in teaching and learning activities during this pandemic. Therefore, schools are increasingly paying attention to the implementation of online learning as well as offline learning. One of the schools that is running online learning is SMK Maitreyawira Tanjungpinang and is used as a partner in this community engagement project. The process of preparing digital materials through the process of interview, observation and consultation with the school. The application of online learning is tailored to the accounting department at SMK Maitreyawira Tanjungpinang which contains the subject theory of Practicum Accounting for Service, Trade, and Manufacturing Company so that they must use digital teaching materials in module, ppt and video and practice questions as learning materials. The preparation of the module is adjusted to the curriculum and competence of school materials. The digital teaching materials that have been compiled have helped the school in making online accounting learning more effective and efficient.

Abstract

Keagenan Kapal merupakan suatu kegiatan untuk mengageni kapal milik principal disuatu pelabuhan tertentu berdasarkan otoritas yang diberikan dari penunjukkan badan usaha baik berbentuk badan hukum maupun tidak yang sudah memiliki perizinan menurut hukum Indonesia. Penujukkan agen berdasarkan surat penunjukkan keagenan belum memberikan perlindungan dan kepastian hukum bagi para pihak sehingga mendorong penulis merancang sebuah kontrak kerjasama yang berbentuk format baku sesuai dengan ketentuan hukum yang berlaku untuk dapat diterapkan bagi PT. Pelayaran Nasional Lestari sebagai objek dimana penulis melakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Acuan hukum yang digunakan sebagai dasar penyusunan berupa Peraturan Menteri Perhubungan Republik Indonesia No. PM 65 Tahun 2019 tentang Penyelenggaraan dan Pengusahaan Keagenan Kapal, dan Peraturan Menteri Perhubungan Republik Indonesia No. PM 121 Tahun 2018 Tentang Jenis, Struktur, Golongan Dan Mekanisme Penetapan Tarif Jasa Kepelabuhanan . Penyusunan laporan ini melalui tiga metode tahapan. Tahap pertama adalah tahap persiapan bagi penulis dalam memperoleh izin dari pihak bersangkutan untuk pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Tahap kedua dilakukan observasi dan pengumpulan data untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan hukum yang ada untuk diangkat sebagi topik yang akan dibahas dalam laporan serta menentukan luaran yang akan dihasilkan dan diberikan pada masyarakat. Tahap Ketiga merupakan tahap terakhir dimana penulis menghasilkan luaran kontrak kerjasama keagenan kapal ini untuk diimplementasikan. Hasil dari implementasi membawa perbaikan yang progresif pada PT. Pelayaran Nasional Lestari serta memudahkan dalam melakukan kerjasama dengan agen, hubungan kedua belah pihak menjadi lebih jelas akan hak dan kewajibanya dimana terdapat pengaturan yang lebih rinci daripada surat penunjukkan keagenan kapal.

Abstract

Achun 178 restaurant is a business engaged in Chinese cuisine. This restaurant is located on Trikarsa Ekualita street, Batam. In running his business, the owner stated that there was a problem where this business did not yet have regulations and work contracts where previously there had been cases of employees resigning from the restaurant and opening a new restaurant with the same food recipes. To solve the problems faced by restaurants, the author proposes to assist these businesses in making legal documents consisting of business regulations and work contracts. Business regulations and work contracts that have been made contain the rights and obligations of employers and employees. This is made to align goals and provide harmony to work life at Achun 178 restaurant. Making this legal document is expected to help restaurants minimize problems that exist in the future.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 telah menyebabkan karantina massal di Indonesia. Dalam upaya pencegahan pertumbuhan jumlah korban, pemerintah telah menerapkan beberapa batasan kegiatan yang diantaranya adalah pembelajaran tatap muka diganti dengan pembelajaran daring. Pembelajaran daring tidak mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal jika dibandingkan pembelajaran tatap muka, hal ini terjadi dikarenakan media pembelajaran yang digunakan para guru tidak dapat menarik perhatian murid. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah menyusun bahan ajar digital akuntansi tentang praktikum akuntansi jasa dan manufaktur yang dapat menarik perhatian murid dalam bentuk sofware dan video. Metode yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil implementasi studi ini disusun dengan cermat menjadi bahan ajar yang berisi materi, software, dan video sehingga menjadi materi yang singkat, lengkap dan mudah dipahami. Saran penulis bagi peneliti selanjutnya adalah membuat video bahan ajar yang lebih kreatif agar dapat meningkatkan minat belajar murid.

Abstract

Indonesian people have realized how important it is to register a trademark for their business. Because, the brand is an identity of a business which means the brand serves as a differentiator for a product or service which is intended to show the characteristics and origin of a product or service. Therefore, it is necessary to register the Mark with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property in order to obtain rights to the Mark. Meanwhile, the registration process for Marks can be found in Law no. 20 of 2016 concerning Brands and Geographical Indications. With the regulation on this mark, a registered mark can have legal protection from the state. The protection referred to in this context is in the form of legal protection where the registered mark cannot be used by other parties without being known and without the permission of the Mark owner. Thus, by having a certificate of right to a mark, directly the party who registered the mark or in other words the applicant for the registration of the mark has become the legal owner of the mark for the goods and/or services. In addition to functioning as property rights, trademark certificates can also serve as proof of legal ownership of goods and/or services when in court. PT. Viona Duta Samudra is a company engaged in the service sector where the main focus of its business is the processing of legal documents for Foreign Workers (TKA) but it is known that PT. Viona Duta Samudra has not registered its trademark with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI). So, the author tries to help the company to register the trademark so that the company can avoid disputes and actions by persons who do not have good faith related to the owner's mark. The research method implemented by the author in this study is an empirical legal research methodology, where the author uses primary data in the form of face-to-face interviews and observations supported by secondary data in the form of library research. Meanwhile, the receipt of the application for trademark registration is the result of the trademark registration process of PT. Viona Duta Samudra.

Abstract

Happy Stationery is a Stationery Store which located in Komplek Tanjung Pantun, Batam. The Company has inventory issue, because they record the product information with paper-based and unstructured excel. Warehouse Management System is a management job that is to organize warehousing problems. In this research, data collection was done by authors by in the form of interviews and observations. And we use SDLC as Development Methodologies. The result of this research was Web Based system which can fullfill the user requirement. this research shows that the implementation of warehouse management system has improved the inventory management process in the store
