Abstract

The understanding of the theology of grace plays a crucial role in the spiritual growth of the congregation. This study aims to analyze the impact of a proper understanding of God's grace on the spiritual development of believers. Using a literature review method, this research examines various theological sources that discuss the concept of grace in the Bible and its implications for the life of faith. The findings indicate that a deep understanding of grace fosters gratitude, reduces legalism, and builds true spiritual freedom. Congregants who recognize that salvation is solely a gift from God are more encouraged to grow in faith, live in love, and serve with pure motivation. Furthermore, the theology of grace helps believers overcome excessive guilt, provides inner peace, and strengthens their faith endurance in facing life’s challenges. This study concludes that a proper understanding of God's grace not only enriches individual spiritual life but also strengthens the congregation as a whole, forming a healthier, more harmonious, and Christ-centered church.

Abstract

The research discusses the design of an automatic door system for warehouses based on Arduino microcontroller, utilizing infrared (IR) sensors. The aim of this study is to enhance operational efficiency in managing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse. The system is designed to automatically open and close doors when detecting objects, reducing manual intervention and increasing security and access speed. The research methodology includes hardware experimentation and a prototyping approach, allowing for comprehensive testing and evaluation of the system. In the development phase, components such as IR sensors, servo motors, and Arduino microcontrollers are integrated to form an interconnected system. Test results indicate that the system operates effectively, accurately detects objects, and responds quickly. This automatic door not only boosts productivity but also helps maintain the environmental conditions of the warehouse, such as temperature and cleanliness. Therefore, this research significantly contributes to the application of automation technology in industry, particularly in warehouse management.

Abstract

This paper aims to explore the function of To Minaa in Torajan culture. Through this study, the research continues to try to understand how elements of Christianity can interact with and influence the implementation of the function of To Minaa in the context of Torajan traditional rituals. In this study, there are informants who provide data related to the study, who are considered to have knowledge about the function of To Minaa. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative by providing an explanation of the meaning and function of To Minaa. Then, the data analysis technique used in this study is qualitative data analysis, with the aim of revealing pre-existing data found in the field, so that the explanation of the problem discussed can find a bright spot. Afterwards, there will be an assessment based on the Biblical elements in the Christian perspective using the translation model approach. Where the function of this translation model is as a benchmark for the context that occurs, so that it can be in line with Christian values. From the results of the research conducted, it was found that the function of To Minaa in the traditional rituals of the Toraja people is emphasized on the words spoken or "kada-kada To Minaa" which are actually full of meaning. So it cannot be concluded as a complement in traditional rituals alone. So it cannot be concluded that it is merely a complement to the traditional ritual. Therefore, it is hoped that Christianity can take part in this traditional ritual, including the purpose of expressing the kada-kada To Minaa which should contain elements of Christian theology.

Abstract

Christian Religious Education plays an important role in shaping Christian leadership with integrity. Leadership from a Christian perspective emphasizes not only managerial skills, but also a strong moral and spiritual foundation based on biblical teachings. This article discusses how Christian Religious Education can be an effective means of shaping leaders who have Christ-like characters, such as humility, honesty, responsibility, and concern for others. Through a value-based learning approach, spiritual reflection, and implementation of biblical leadership principles, it is hoped that a generation of leaders will be born who are not only competent, but also have a vision and mission to serve with love. Thus, Christian religious education is not just doctrinal teaching, but also a process of character formation that has a real impact on leadership in various aspects of life. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of bullying behaviour in adolescents. The method used in this research is the literature review method which raises the theme of bullying behaviour with the research subject being adolescents. The research was conducted by collecting and identifying journals in 2020-2024. The results showed that bullying behaviour in adolescents is caused by various factors, the most dominant of which is verbal bullying carried out by adolescents such as: mocking, cheering, making jokes that cause victims of bullying to decrease their level of confidence, become shy, and have an impact on the psychology of victims of bullying. Bullying behaviour that currently occurs is very high, so the need for proper education about the impact of bullying and the formation of empathy and mutual respect in the school environment is an important step in prevention efforts. Cooperation from all parties is needed so that bullying cases can prevent bullying in adolescents. The benefit of this research is that readers can see a picture of bullying behaviour in adolescents in the range of 2020-2024 and become an insight for guidance and counselling teachers regarding the various impacts of bullying that occur in adolescents.

Abstract

Toraja culture has a rich tradition, especially in the Rambu Solo' (funeral) and Rambu Tuka' (thanksgiving) ceremonies. Both of these ceremonies reflect the community's beliefs in the cycle of life, relationships with ancestors, and expressions of gratitude. With the entry of Christianity into Toraja, a process of inculturation occurred, in which elements of local culture were integrated into religious practices. The church played an important role in reinterpreting the meaning of these traditions to align with Christian teachings. This effort is seen in the use of tongkonan architecture for churches, spiritual songs in the Toraja language, and the reinterpretation of offerings in traditional ceremonies. This study uses a field study method to explore how the Toraja people maintain their culture while practicing the Christian faith. The results show that inculturation can be a bridge between culture and faith without eliminating the essential values ​​of both.

Abstract

Waiting time for prescription services is the length of time calculated from the time the patient submits the prescription to the pharmacy staff until the medicine is received by the patient. Based on minimum hospital service standards (SPM RS) Minister of Health Decree No.129/Menkes/SK/II/2008, the waiting time for services for compounded drug prescriptions is ≤ 60 minutes and for non-concocted prescriptions is ≤ 30 minutes. The aim of this research is to analyze the waiting time for prescription services for compounded and non-concocted medicines for BPJS patients at Dr. Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi Hospital, whether they have met the minimum service standards or not. The method used in data collection is observational, namely directly observing the waiting time for prescription services. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique. The data obtained by the researchers were 389 recipes consisting of 48 concocted recipes and 341 non-concocted recipes. Based on the results obtained, the waiting time for prescription services at the outpatient pharmacy at RSUD Dr. Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi has met the minimum service standards (SPM). The average waiting time for service for concocted prescriptions is 53.06 minutes (3,216 seconds) and non-concocted prescriptions is 10.09 minutes (654 seconds). The factors that influence the length of waiting time are the type of prescription, the number of R/, the availability of drugs and facilities that have problems/errors such as prit machines and networks that have experienced problems several times.

Abstract

Early marriage is a serious problem faced in Indonesia, including in Gunung Tuleh sub-district, West Pasaman Regency. This activity aimed to raise the awareness of students of SMAN 1 Gunung Tuleh about the health impacts and civil law in preventing early marriage through education on empowering the role of the family. This interactive socialization used various methods, including discussion and question and answer. The results showed an increase in students' knowledge of the dangers of early marriage, as well as an understanding of the role of the family in preventing it. It is hoped that this socialization can provide a comprehensive understanding of the negative impacts of early marriage on reproductive health, education, and economic welfare, thus contributing to a decrease in early marriage rates among adolescents in Gunung Tuleh.

Abstract

Sufism has many meanings, both in terms of language and terminology. However, in general, Sufism refers to simple behavior, staying away from worldly desires, and people who always worship and draw closer to Allah. Historically, a group of Orientalists thought that Sufism came from Christian sources. However, in Islam, the emergence of Sufism has occurred along with the growth and development of the Islamic religion itself, starting from the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and there are several phases, namely the first and second centuries of the Hijriyah, in the third and fourth centuries of the Hijriyah, in the fifth century of the Hijriyah, the sixth, seventh and eighth centuries of the Hijriyah and in the ninth, tenth centuries and after. In Indonesia, the development of Sufism can be said to have been influenced by Persia (Iran) and India. This article was written with the aim of understanding the meaning of Sufism, both in terms of language and terms put forward by experts, the history of the emergence of Sufism, and the development of Sufism in Indonesia. The method used in this article is the Literature Study Method or Literature Review.

Abstract

This study examines the evolution of the TikTok music logo using Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis to understand the dynamics of signs in the platform's rebranding process. Using a qualitative approach, this study analyses primary data in the form of three versions of the TikTok music logo (2016-2018, 2019-2021, 2022-present) and secondary data from official TikTok documentation, media reviews, and user responses. The results show that the evolution of the TikTok music logo represents three phases of meaning transformation: from a simple initial identity (2016-2018), to a more dynamic transition phase (2019-2021), to a sophisticated minimalist design (2022-present). Semiotics analysis reveals a shift in meaning from the level of denotation (physical change of the logo), connotation (transformation of the platform's identity), to myth (TikTok as a pioneer of digital innovation). The study also found that visual changes correlate positively with a 45% increase in brand trust among Gen Z users.
