Abstract

This study aimed to see the effectiveness of group counseling service model using psychodrama technique to improve the self-confidence of students at SMP N 1 Indralaya. This study used a quantitative research method which is Quasi-Experiment. To measure the effectiveness of group counseling service model using psychodrama technique to improve the self-confidence of grade VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya. The design used is the researcher is pre-experimental: one group pretest-posttest design. The Wilcoxon test results also show the group counseling model using the psychodrama technique developed effectively to improve the student self-confidence by 0.005, because the value 0.005 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a difference between pretest-posttest, so it can be concluded that there is an influence on the use of psychodrama technique method in group counseling to self-confidence.Keywords:  group counseling, psychodrama techniques, self-confidence.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap pengembangan dan peningkatan keterampilan para guru BK dalam memberikan layanan konseling kepada siswa khususnya di era pendemi covid-19 ini khususnya keterampilan regulasi emosi. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dengan pemaparan materi kepada Guru BK. Untuk mengetahui tercapai tidaknya materi pelatihan yang disajikan, akan dilakukan evaluasi melalui aplikasi google form untuk mengetahui tentang tanggapan dari setiap peserta terhadap pelaksana pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh Tim, apabila peserta telah menguasai 75% dari materi yang dipaparkan, maka materi tersebut berhasil dicermati. Hasil evaluasi yang diberikan oleh para guru BK terhadap materi pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 80 % peserta dapat memahami materi secara keseluruhan yang diberikan oleh tim pengabdian untuk meningkatkan keterampilan regulasi emosi Guru BK di Kota Palembang.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat keefektifan model layanan konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik psikodrama untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri diri siswa SMP N 1 Indralaya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif yaitu Quasi Experiment. Untuk mengukur keefektifan model layanan konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik psikodrama untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa kelas VII di SMP N 1 Indralaya. Desain yang digunakan yaitu peneliti adalah pre-experimental:  one group pretest-posttest design.  Hasil Uji wilcoxon juga menunjukkan Model konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik psikodrama yang dikembangkan efektif untuk meningkatkan self efficacy siswa  sebesar 0,005, dikarenakan nilai 0,005 < 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa “Ha diterima”. Artnya , terdapat perbedaan antara pretest-posttest, sehingga dapat disimpulkan pula bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan metode teknik psikodrama dalam konseling kelompok terhadap Self-Efficacy pada siswa kelas VIII SMP 01 Indralaya dengan Sig. (2-tailed) < 0,05. Disimpulkan bahwa model konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik psikodrama terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa SMP N  1 Indralaya.

Abstract

This study was based on the phenomenon of the students who still got lower grade point average. Those were thought to give the effect to the students’ grade point average. The objective of this study was to find out the correlation between self confidence in college with GPA (Grade Point Average) either individually or together. In the field, students’ self confidence were categorised as very good, good, fair, poor, and very poor. This quantitative research used ex post facto approach. The subjects of the study were the students of Guidance and Counseling, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University, with total population 145 students and samples 105 students. Sampling technique used Proportional Random Sampling. Instruments in this study was a questionnaire enclosed using Likert scale which has been in the validity and realibility. Statistical data analysis techniques used Pearson Product Moment Correlation and double regression used Statistical Product Service Solution (SPSS) version 17.00. Based on the results of the study revealed there was a significant correlation between self confidence and GPA. Keywords: Self Confidence, GPA (Grade Point Average)

Abstract

Basic competencies that teachers of Guidance and Counseling should have is the ability to use and to operationalize the Guidance and Counseling media. This capability is required because in her/his activities, a teachers of Guidance and Counseling should be able to design, to use, and to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of media in counseling and guidance services. Therefore it is required for the training of making Guidance and Counseling media to help teachers Guidance and Counseling in providing services to learners. Based on the results of the training of Guidance and Counseling media using Microsoft Power Point, 80% of teachers of Guidance and Counseling has been able to make a power point slide about preventing drug abuse through task independent. Through this training, teachers of Guidance and Counseling are expected to be more aware and understand that the needs of the times are getting changing and evolving, so that competence of technology and information should be improved also.Keywords: Media, Guidance and Counseling

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of parents in motivating children's learning in Bumirejo Village, Penuguan Strait District, Banyuasin Regency. The subjects of this study were 6 parents who had children and were currently studying at senior high school. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative by collecting data through direct interviews with 6 respondents from Bumirejo Village. The results of the study show that parents' sense of awareness to improve or motivate their children to learn is sufficient even though it is only limited to giving attention and financing. Parents of children in Bumirejo Village are more likely to state that financial needs are more important for further education, this is due to family conditions and parents' knowledge that they do not understand the importance of motivating children's learning, and parents also have a different mindset so they assume that their children are already fully grown and independent so that they do not need guidance or supervision from their parents.

Abstract

Flipbook-based digital teaching materials for social-emotional learning courses for pre-service PPG students at FKIP UNSRI are still rare. This research aims to produce flipbook-based digital teaching materials for social-emotional learning courses for pre-service PPG students at FKIP Unsri. The development model used is the ADDIE development model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The analysis was carried out involving 11 PPG Pre-service students as research samples. The results of the teaching materials show that the resulting teaching materials have been validated with a media validation percentage value of 91.6% in the very good category, material validation of 95% in the very good category, and language validation of 91.6% in the very good category. The textbook assessment results for each indicator were 89.09 in the very good category. In this way, flipbook-based digital teaching materials for social-emotional learning courses for pre-service PPG students at FKIP Unsri have been successfully developed.

Abstract

The independent curriculum demands learning activities and guidance and counseling services in terms of technology-based student development, where the educational information delivered is packaged attractively and is easily accessible anywhere. This training aims to improve educators' skills in creating educational materials in the form of barcode-based digital posters. The number of respondents in this service activity was 42 people. Data collection used a training instrument for making barcode-based digital poster learning media. Data analysis using the Google Form application. The results of the training found that training in making barcode-based digital poster learning media was very useful for the participants. Research data found that there was an increase in skills in using the Canva application and the S.ID application. Implications in guidance and counseling services can provide interactive guidance and counseling services, especially in providing basic services as well as individual specialization and planning.

Abstract

Textbooks are one of the media specifically designed to assist the learning process in a particular subject area. Textbooks have an important function, books that are used as handbooks for courses compiled and written by experts in their fields. Through textbooks, students are expected to be able to obtain information and various activity instructions in learning in each course. This study aims to develop Flipbook Teaching Materials in Mental Health Courses for Guidance and Counselling students of FKIP Sriwijaya University. Measurements in this study on the main data, namely the results of coursebook assessments on media validation, material validation, and language validation, as well as the results of the flipbook feasibility test by measuring student absorption of the material in the coursebook. This research uses the ADDIE development method with a series of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. the instruments in this study were expert validation sheets and respondent rating scales. The results showed media validation with a total average of 4.43 with the category "very feasible", material aspects total average of 4.7 with the category "very feasible", and validation of language aspects total average of 4.66 categorised as "very feasible". While the Flipbook effectiveness score with a respondent rating scale of 42 students. At the One to one stage, the N-Gain value was obtained at 0.786 with a percentage of 78.57% with the effective category, then at the Small Group stage, the N-Gain value was obtained at 0.766 with a percentage of 76.61% with the effective category and at the Field test stage, the N-Gain value was obtained at 0.767 with a percentage of 76.70% with the effective category. Thus it can be concluded that the Mental Health flipbook is effective for use in Mental Health courses. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the textbook with the title "Development of Flipbook Teaching Materials in Mental Health Courses for Students of the Guidance and Counselling Study Program at FKIP Sriwijaya University" is effectively used in learning Mental Health courses and achieving competencies according to the course learning outcomes planned in the Semester Learning Plan (RPS).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze research trends related to problematic behavior in children from broken homes using the library research method. Problematic behaviors in children, such as aggression, juvenile delinquency, and emotional difficulties, are often associated with dysfunctional family dynamics, particularly in the context of broken homes. Through a literature review, this research identifies patterns, causative factors, and impacts of such problematic behaviors, as well as intervention approaches proposed in previous studies. The analysis reveals that factors such as lack of parental care, family conflict, and emotional instability are the primary triggers of problematic behavior in children. Additionally, this study highlights a growing academic interest in psychological and educational approaches to addressing this issue. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of further research and serve as a reference for practitioners in designing effective interventions for children from broken homes.
