Abstract

The phenomenon of queuing on public transport is a topic that often occurs in public service organizations. Since the implementation of the public transport program by the government, the amount of time required for service users to use public services tends to increase, which can have an impact on the satisfaction and safety of service users. One of the operations research techniques that analyzes queuing problems in production systems or service processes probabilistically is queuing theory. Queues tend to form in public facilities. One of them is the train queue at Bekasi Station. There is a queue between trains waiting to depart and trains departing for the station. This causes the arrival and departure of trains to be delayed from the predetermined schedule, thereby increasing the potential for train passengers. Queuing theory can be used to analyze queuing problems encountered at Bekasi station. Basically, queuing theory is used to determine queuing system parameters such as the average number of arrivals, and service time. These queuing parameters can be used to determine financially optimal system resources. The application of cue theory is growing along with the development of simulation methods and information systems, including system sensitivity analysis.

Abstract

Education in Toraja reflects harmony between traditional cultural values ​​and the modern education system. This combination allows strengthening cultural identity through the application of traditional values ​​in formal learning. Traditional educational approaches rich in local wisdom can be integrated into the curriculum through contextual methods and holistic character education programs. By utilizing the strengths of these two approaches, the education system in Toraja has the potential to create a generation that is not only intellectually superior but also has wise morals and a strong cultural identity. This education is a means of transformation to produce a society that is relevant to the needs of the times without losing its cultural roots. The synergy between tradition and modernity makes education in Toraja an inspiring model in developing a meaningful and holistic education system for the future.

Abstract

The spread of hoaxes in the digital era is a serious challenge that affects society, especially students as active users of social media. This study aims to improve the digital literacy of Bhayangkara University students in Greater Jakarta to prevent the negative impact of hoaxes. This social intervention program uses a psychoeducational method that includes counseling, interactive discussions, and evaluation using a questionnaire. The results showed that good digital literacy can help students recognize false information, verify the truth of information, and reduce the spread of hoaxes. This intervention has a positive impact on changing maladaptive behavior into adaptive. This study recommends a sustainable and more interactive digital literacy program to expand its positive impact in the community.

Abstract

One of the social disease that is so widespread in society specifically in Indonesia at the present time is the incident of suicide. The rise of suicide cases occurs in all groups regardless of social strata and human age. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of suicide which is so rife, it is no longer a fabrication but an event that really happened. The author is motivated to examine the role and also the theological views of priests regarding suicide in preventing suicides, especially those that occurred in Rantetayo area, Tana Toraja Regency. The method that the writer uses in this study is a qualitative method which comes from literature studies, interview and observation techniques. It is through research conducted that the quality and role of the church is urgently needed through pastors to prevent cases of suicide through mentoring, sermons, coaching, directions visits, and understanding to members of the Congregation regarding God’s Word. The results of this study state that suicide by faith is not justified and is not an act desired by God because it is contrary to the word of God, because God is the outhority over human life and death.

Abstract

T-shirts are a timeless clothing model. American and British soldiers in the 19th century initially used T-shirts for their clothing. However, as time went by, T-shirts were also worn by the public for everyday wear and for less important events. Manufacturing plants that create t-shirt on a huge scale are by and large alluded to as ready-to-wear industrial facilities. Industry. Medium-sized confectionery companies usually have several constraints, such as: limited production materials, production capital, processing time, etc. This dairy portrays the endeavors of the confectionary industry in optimizing generatiom to attain greatest benefits with negligible exertion, without diminishing the quality of the products created. One way to achieve maximum benefit is to determine the production flow and limitations using linear programming. Linear programming is a solution technique for determining optimal resource allocation problems. The solution to this linear programming is supported by the Python application for Windows. This study reveals that with the given conditions and sales targets, maximum profit can be achieved by producing t-shirts.

Abstract

This study aims to compile a literature review on the effect of mindfulness on reducing academic stress in college students. This study analyzes findings from various relevant studies to identify the mechanisms of mindfulness's effectiveness in reducing stress, as well as providing practical recommendations for higher education institutions. The research findings indicate that mindfulness is effective in reducing stress levels, improving psychological well-being, and supporting academic adaptation. In addition, mindfulness-based applications have proven to be an easily accessible solution for students to practice mindfulness independently. However, challenges such as sustainability of practice and cultural adaptation require further attention. By integrating mindfulness into the curriculum and student services, higher education institutions can create a more supportive and conducive learning environment for students' mental health. This study presents strategic recommendations for educators, practitioners, and policymakers to improve the effectiveness of mindfulness programs in academic settings.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to find concepts that can be applied by Christian religious leaders in instilling the values and meanings of Christian life ethics through the use of digital literacy, especially in the 21st century surrounded by the age of digital technology. In this study the authors use qualitative methods with a descriptive analysis approach. Qualitative methods are applied in the form of literature that takes sources from trusted literature such as books, articles and internet sources that can be recognized by the truth. While descriptive analysis is carried out with a view to developing the author's intentions in accordance with the real reality in the field to be developed in a scientific work. There are several theories used by the author, such as the theory developed by Leny Muniroh about the model that can be applied by Christian religious leaders in developing digital technology as a form of literacy in building Christian ethics. The second theory by Basoeky's superior to the use of digital technology by Christians to build togetherness. The expected result of this study is that the ethics of Christian life can not only be done by the government but also by Christian religious leaders through digital literacy technology education to develop, apply and disseminate the teachings of Christianity in accordance with God's will and Bible teachings.

Abstract

Education is the main foundation in building quality human resources that are competitive and have character. This article discusses the importance of education as the main pillar in creating a golden generation that is ready to face global challenges. By highlighting the role of education in shaping moral values, critical skills, and innovation, this article explores how inclusive, adaptive, and technology-based approaches can strengthen education systems in the modern era. Apart from that, it also discussed the importance of collaboration between government, educational institutions and society in creating an educational ecosystem that supports lifelong learning. Abstract

Christian youth's views on young marriage are a relevant issue in the context of social change and traditional values ​​in society. This research aims to explore the perceptions of young Christians towards the phenomenon of young marriage, with a focus on the theological, social and cultural factors that influence their views. The method used is a qualitative study with in-depth interviews with Christian youth in certain communities. The research results show that the majority of Christian youth view young marriage as a risky step, especially in relation to emotional, financial and spiritual readiness. They also emphasized the importance of planning and maturity in building a family based on the values ​​of the Christian faith. However, this view is influenced by family environment, church education, and local traditions. This research recommends a pastoral and church education approach to increase awareness of the importance of readiness in marriage.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to determine the effectiveness of social studies learning using the PBL (problem based learning) learning model in elementary schools. Social Sciences (IPS) is a learning program that studies social life in the form of history, geography, economics and sociology. In the world of education, there are several methods that can be applied in social studies learning in elementary schools, one of which is PBL (Problem Based Learning) which can train students to learn knowledge content and solve problems in real life. This discussion needs to be done because humans need it in real life and make it easier for teachers to carry out the teaching and learning process in schools so that learning objectives are achieved. So the author chose the title of the effectiveness of social studies learning using the PBL (problem based learning) learning model in elementary schools. This study uses a literature review research design. The data collection technique uses a national article literature study in 2020-2025. The results of this study obtained 10 articles according to the focus of the study. The results of the research analysis have the same statement, namely that the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model has effectiveness and can help in the learning process.
