Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the largest population of Muslims in the world. It has the potential for an ordinary tourist attraction that has yet to become the primary choice of international Sharia tourists. With such a huge potential, Indonesia should be able to achieve its primary purpose. However, the condition of Indonesia has yet to be included in the top 10 destinations of world sharia tourism. On the contrary, Indonesian citizens become Sharia tourists with the purpose of other countries. One that plays a role in encouraging Indonesia to be the leading destination of Sharia tourism in Indonesia is the Travel Bureau. This study aims to determine the role of the Travel Agency in encouraging Sharia tourism in Indonesia. In addition, this research is meant to identify the factors that support and inhibit the role of the Travel Agency in encouraging Sharia tourism in Indonesia to become the world's leading tourist destination. This study's results indicate that no Travel Agency focuses on the Sharia tourism business in Indonesia. For that, the existence of the Travel Agency plays a significant role in encouraging Sharia tourism in Indonesia to be the primary goal.

Abstract

Zakat has a significant role in improving people's welfare. One entity that manages Zakat for the community's welfare is the Kendal Regency National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas). This study aims to measure the level of effectiveness of Zakat disbursement at the Baznas Kendal Regency. This research was conducted using quantitative methods. The data is sourced from the Kendal Regency Baznas Financial Report for 2020-2022. Disbursement effectiveness measurement uses the allocation-to-collection ratio (ACR) approach. In addition, this study uses a descriptive approach. The results showed that the ACR value was 108 per cent. Thus, the level of effectiveness of Kendal Regency Baznas disbursement is in the Highly Effective category. Kendal Regency Baznas needs to optimize the disbursement of Zakat to Mustahiq, which covers five program areas: Education, Economy, Health, Da'wah, and Humanity.

Abstract

Tuturuga seasoning is one of the typical Minahasa spices in North Sulawesi Province. Furthermore, Spaghetti is a typical food from Italy. This research aims to identify promotional strategies for Tuturuga Seasoned Spaghetti food through social media. This study uses a qualitative method. Data was obtained by observation. The data comes from social media consisting of Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp. The research results show that the social media platforms effectively used as promotional media are Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram. The North Sulawesi Provincial Government needs to support Minahasan spice business actors so that promotion via social media can be carried out effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Instructors have a strategic role in developing superior human resources in Indonesia. This research aims to identify the Instructor Professional Certification Scheme in the Qualification Level category in the Field of Job Training and Certification in the Instructor Group Job Training Subfield. This study uses a qualitative method. The research approach was carried out descriptively and by literature study. Data comes from reference journal articles and regulations related to Instructors. Data was analyzed descriptively to explain the Instructor Professional Certification Scheme. This research found that the Qualification Levels in the Field of Job Training and Certification in the Instructor Group Job Training Subfield refer to the Decree of the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia No. 3 of 2021. These Qualification Levels start from Qualifications 3 to 6. The government needs to provide support to increase the number of competent instructors.

Abstract

This research aims to identify marketing strategies to increase room occupancy rates at Yama Resort. The research method used is the Qualitative Method. Data was obtained through observation, interviews and literature study. This research shows that five marketing strategies can be implemented to increase room occupancy rates. Furthermore, eight strategies can be implemented based on the strength, weakness, opportunity and treatment (SWOT) analysis. Yama Resort management needs to focus on existing strengths and collaborate with business people to attract more guests. It will ultimately impact increasing the room occupancy rate at Yama Resort.

Abstract

Hotels are a type of accommodation that is vital to tourism development. The quality of service in hotel entities is an essential point that management needs attention to. This research examines the influence of discipline on service quality among employees of the Aryaduta Manado Hotel. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. A descriptive approach is used to explain the research theme. Data was obtained through interviews and observations of the Bar Hotel Aryaduta Manado employees. The research results show that discipline influences the quality of employee service. The hotel industry must pay primary attention to work discipline, contributing to employee performance.

Abstract

Hotels provide food and beverage accommodation services and other service facilities intended for the public. The Accounting Department has a vital role in making and receiving reports. This research analyses the performance of receiving employees in the Accounting Department at Manhattan Hotel Jakarta. This study uses a qualitative method. Data was collected using interviews, observation and literature study. This research indicates that employee performance in the employee quality dimension still needs to be of better quality. Furthermore, from the experience dimension, employees need to improve and develop their work performance. Employees in the Accounting Department need to increase their accuracy in receiving goods. Hotel management needs to supervise employees to improve their performance.

Abstract

The BAZNAS Management Information System (SIMBA) is a breakthrough for the National Zakat Amil Agency (BAZNAS) in optimizing the achievement of zakat management objectives. This research aims to describe the implementation of SIMBA at BAZNAS Bekasi City. This research also aims to identify supporting and inhibiting factors for SIMBA at BAZNAS Bekasi City. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The validity technique uses a triangulation approach. The data source comes from informants at BAZNAS Bekasi City. This research shows that the implementation of SIMBA at BAZNAS Bekasi City consists of three phases: input, process, and output. Supporting factors in implementing SIMBA at BAZNAS Bekasi City are competent human resources, supporting facilities and training. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor in implementing SIMBA at BAZNAS Bekasi City is the delay in sending data by the Zakat Collection Unit (UPZ) to BAZNAS Bekasi City. Therefore, BAZNAS must pay attention to UPZ so data can be transmitted on time.

Abstract

The Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) are mainly used to design and implement job training, conduct training output assessments, and assess a person's current level of skills and expertise. This study aims to review the SKKNI reassessment procedures. This study uses a qualitative method. The research approach, including policy and literature studies, is carried out descriptively. Data comes from regulations, journal articles, and reference books. The results of this study found that the procedure for reviewing the SKKNI was carried out based on the Decree of the Directorate General of Training and Productivity Development of the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia Number Kep.280/Lattas/Xi/2014 Concerning the Guidelines for Procedures for the SKKNI Review. The SKKNI drafting team must make this policy a reference in the SKKNI Review.

Abstract

Turnover is a phenomenon that commonly occurs in an organization, especially companies. The research results show that from the perspective of philosophical knowledge, turnover can be explained in three dimensions: ontology, epistemology, and axiology. In the ontological dimension, turnover includes the true meaning of turnover science, which can be proven to exist in every organization. The epistemological dimension of turnover science is related to the basis of knowledge, sources, characteristics, the truth of knowledge, and how to obtain turnover knowledge. Finally, in the axiological dimension, the discussion of turnover includes the relationship between knowledge and values, namely the feasibility of turnover science to be developed and the function and usefulness of turnover science. In the end, turnover science needs to be developed so that its benefits can be felt more, especially in anticipating how to ensure that the turnover phenomenon only occurs occasionally in companies, even though this is inevitable due to various situations and conditions in the organization.
