Abstract

The student admission process (PPDB) at Yayasan Islam Citra Matahari is still carried out manually, leading to inefficiencies in administration, limited access to information, and unstructured data management. This study aims to design and implement a web-based information system for PPDB to facilitate the registration process and manage student data more effectively. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which emphasizes iterative development through prototyping and direct user feedback. The implementation results show that the system improves registration efficiency, broadens access to school information, and supports centralized, secure, and structured data management.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology has significantly impacted various sectors, including education. One area affected by this digital shift is the administrative process of student registration. This report discusses the design and development of a web-based system for new student registration (PPDB) at RA Khairul Ummah, aimed at replacing the inefficient and time-consuming manual registration process. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, which includes requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. PHP was used for server-side programming, while MySQL was applied as the database management system. The system allows prospective students to register online, upload required documents, and track registration status in real-time. The implementation of this system significantly improves efficiency, data accuracy, and reduces processing time. Additionally, it simplifies the management of registrations and broadens the reach of information. This project helps RA Khairul Ummah adapt to the digital era and is expected to inspire other educational institutions to adopt similar digital solutions.

Abstract

This research analyzes the application of three Multi-Attribute Decision Making (MADM) methods—Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), Weighted Product (WP), and Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS)— in a Decision Support System for selecting the best employee at a company. The research variables are the criteria determined by the company's management to assess employee performance, which include performance, attendance, years of service, and attitude. This Decision Support System (DSS) implements a comparison of these three classic MADM methods to observe potential differences in the resulting rankings. The results of this study show that the application of both the SAW and WP methods produces the same ranking order, while the TOPSIS method provides a different ranking result.

Abstract

SMK YP Mulia Jakarta is a vocational high school that has adopted technology in its educational process, including the implementation of daily assessments, which were previously managed through Google Forms. Despite its use, this platform has several shortcomings, such as rigid scheduling options, the absence of automatic question randomization, limited participant authentication capabilities, and a lack of automated result analysis. Moreover, since Google Forms is a third-party tool, the school lacks full authority over the system and its data. To overcome these challenges, the author developed a custom web-based online testing system specifically designed to meet the requirements of SMK YP Mulia Jakarta. The system offers features such as configurable test timing, randomized questions, token-based access management, secure user authentication, and real-time, integrated result reporting.

Abstract

Employee attendance is a crucial aspect in supporting smooth operations and maintaining work discipline. However, the manual attendance method still used at Diaz Plastik Store is prone to data loss, attendance manipulation, and complicates the process of recapitulating and monitoring dynamic shift schedules. This research aims to design a web-based employee attendance system integrated with QR Code technology and shift information to improve the efficiency and accuracy of attendance recording. The system is developed using the Waterfall method with stages including requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The attendance process involves user login, followed by scanning a QR Code generated by the admin, enabling real-time attendance data recording linked with assigned shift schedules. The resulting system is expected to overcome the weaknesses of the manual method, accelerate data recapitulation, and assist Diaz Plastik Store management in objectively and timely evaluating employee performance, thereby supporting more effective decision-making related to human resource management.

Abstract

In the digital era, the integration of technology in education has become essential, particularly in managing student academic data. This study developed an automated student grouping system based on academic performance using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and K-Means Clustering at SMK Negeri 8 Kabupaten Tangerang. Traditional grouping methods conducted by teachers are time-consuming and prone to subjectivity, whereas the proposed system improves time efficiency by over 80% with more objective and consistent results. PCA is employed to reduce the dimensionality of academic data such as attendance, assignment scores, midterm exams, and final exams, allowing for faster clustering without significant information loss. The K-Means Clustering algorithm then classifies students into high, medium, and low academic performance groups. The system was developed using the Waterfall model, involving stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Final testing shows that the application is user-friendly and provides valuable outputs to support academic decision-making. This research contributes to enhancing the teaching and learning process by integrating machine learning technology into the school’s academic system.

Abstract

The coffee industry in Indonesia continues to grow with coffee consumption reaching 1.2 million tons per year (AEKI, 2023). However, the conventional coffee beans selection process takes 1–1.5 hours per 1 kg of coffee beans and is prone to subjectivity. This study develops a web based decision support system (DSS) that integrates image processing methods for coffee bean visuals (color, size, uniformity) and the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method for objective quality evaluation. The implementation of the system at Jastro Kopi shows an average coffee bean quality of above 70%, with Garut Arabica varieties as the best beans (97.3%) and Lintong Arabica the lowest (90.8%). This system has been proven to speed up the selection process to 20–30 minutes, maintain quality consistency, and be an efficient solution for the coffee industry.

Abstract

Waste banks are one solution in waste management using the 3R method (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). However, in practice, many waste banks face obstacles in terms of information systems and services to customers, such as the delivery of balance information, transaction history, waste prices, and weighing schedules that are still manual. This is also experienced by the Kembang Sepatu Waste Bank located in Cirendeu Village, South Tangerang. To overcome this problem, researchers developed a Waste Bank Management Information System with Instant Messaging Notifications using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) Method. This study aims to design and implement an information system that can provide instant notifications to customers through a Telegram Bot. The system was designed with a RAD method approach consisting of three main phases: Requirement Planning, Design Phase, and Implementation Phase. The technologies used include Python as the backend, MySQL as the database, and the Telegram API for instant communication features. The implementation results show that the system can provide balanced information and transaction history automatically, provide real-time weighing notifications, and convey the latest waste price information through the Telegram bot. Furthermore, the system can forward specific questions from residents to the management team, maintaining responsive two-way interaction. This system improves the efficiency and transparency of waste bank services, which is expected to increase public participation in sustainable waste management.

Abstract

The Afternoon the market one of the busiet commercial centers in Aimas Regency, particularly during traffic congestion periods. The main issue observed is traffic conflicts that result in congestion. This study evaluates the capacity of jalan Buncis leading to the Afternoon Market in Aimas Regency the Afternoon Market, as well as the influence of roadside obstacles on traffic distribution. Data collection includes traffic data on traffic volume, vehicle speed, and road capacity we’re Collected through filed surveys around jalan buncis durung market activities. The analysis was performed using the Indonesia Highway Capacity Manual (MKJI) 1997.method. Surveys were conducted on theree different days og the on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday.The results show that peak traffic reached 199 vehicles/hour, with an average speed and saturation value during the morning peak of 357 vehicles/hour, while off-peak hours recorded 184 vehicles/hour, and the evening peak reached 262 vehicles/hour. Based on the analysis, the Level of Service (LOS) for Jalan Buncis in the Afternoon Market area is classified as Level A, indicating safe conditions, low traffic volume, high speed, and drivers being able to travel at their desired speed.

Abstract

This research aims to design and implement a website-based application for PT. His Food Industry with a focus on optimizing the ordering process and customer service. The main problems identified were the slow ordering process and lack of efficiency in customer interactions, which had an impact on customer satisfaction and company performance. The method used in this study is the prototype method, which allows application development to be iterative and responsive to user needs. The initial prototype will be tested and evaluated to get feedback, so that the resulting application can meet user expectations. The expected result of this research is the creation of an intuitive and efficient application, able to speed up the ordering process, and improve the quality of customer service. With the implementation of this application, it is hoped that PT. His Food Industry can improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency, supporting sustainable business growth.
