Abstract

Warung Mie Ayam Pak Fit is a micro scale culinary business that still relies on manual sales and financial record keeping, which may lead to data inaccuracies, loss of transaction information, and difficulties in preparing financial reports. This study aims to design a web based Point of Sales (POS) sales information system that can support a more organized sales transaction management process. The research method used is a descriotive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and literature review. The system design is developed using the Laravel framework with the Waterfall development method, which is limited to the system design stage only. The design stages include user requirements analysis, system modeling using Unified Modeling Language (UML), database design through Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), and application user interface design. The results of this study are in the form of a sales information system design that is expected to serve as a reference for the development and implementation of a web based POS system to improve the accuracy of financial records and support business decision making at Warung Mie Ayam Pak Fit.

Abstract

This study evaluates the software quality of the UPN Jatim Cashier Application website (simulated URL: repository.upnjatim.ac.id/11689) against the international standard ISO/IEC 29119:2022. The evaluation employed comprehensive Black Box Testing using Selenium IDE for functional verification, and GTMetrix and Google Lighthouse for non-functional and usability analysis. Simulated Testing Data (adopting metrics from comparative study): The functional testing achieved a success rate of $91.4\%$ across 35 test cases, however, a critical security defect was identified in the authentication module (TC-001) where the system failed to deny access with invalid credentials. Non-functional analysis yielded excellent results, with GTMetrix scoring Grade A (Performance $93\%$ and LCP $1.1s$). Google Lighthouse produced a good average usability score of $88.25\%$, though it highlighted a need for improvement in Accessibility ($84.5\%$). The overall software feasibility, calculated using ISO 29119 metrics (Execution, Effectiveness, Pass Rate, and Coverage), reached $90.35\%$. This score deems the system Highly Suitable for Release, yet the severity of the authentication flaw mandates immediate repair before public deployment.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has driven transformation in the electrical distribution sector, where selecting the right distributor is a strategic factor. PT Anugrah Hadi Electric faces challenges in manually evaluating 20 distributors based on six criteria: price, delivery time, tax status, product quality, responsiveness, and after-sales support. This research implements a web-based decision support system using the MOORA method to recommend optimal electrical goods distributors. System development employs the agile scrum method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature study. Implementation results show the system significantly accelerates the evaluation process. Distributor PT Global Teknik Lestari (code A16) was selected as the top rank with a score of 0.09935. The system has proven to reduce subjectivity, improve evaluation consistency, and produce objective recommendations to support the company's strategic decision-making.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is one of the main indicators in assessing the quality of health services, especially in dental clinic services. Maesa Dental Clinic, which has been established for more than 10 years and has several branches, namely Pamulang, Gading Serpong, Senopati, and Karawaci, needs to conduct regular evaluations to ensure the quality of its services is maintained. This study aims to analyze the level of patient satisfaction with Maesa Dental Clinic services using the Weighted Product (WP) method. The research data was obtained from the results of questionnaires filled out by patients over a period of one month using a Likert scale of 1–5. The criteria used include How is the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the clinic, How is the cleanliness and availability of facilities in the toilet, How is the friendliness and professionalism of the reception staff, How is the quality of service from the dentist who treated you, How is the quality of service from the dentist who treated you. The Weighted Product method is used to process data based on the weight of each criterion to obtain a preference value for the level of patient satisfaction. The results show that the level of patient satisfaction with Maesa Dental Clinic services is in the very satisfied category. The quality of medical personnel services and staff friendliness are the most influential factors on patient satisfaction. Thus, it can be concluded that Maesa Dental Clinic has been able to provide quality services that meet patient expectations. The results of this study are expected to serve as evaluation material and a reference for clinic management in efforts to improve service quality in the future.

Abstract

Sleep is a vital biological process that plays an essential role in maintaining physical health, mental stability, and emotional balance. Insufficient sleep duration can negatively affect concentration, memory, emotional regulation, and both academic and work productivity. Health organizations recommend a minimum of 7 hours of sleep per night for adults. However, many individuals, particularly students, fail to meet this recommendation due to academic demands, social activities, and excessive use of digital devices. This study aims to analyze whether the average sleep duration of respondents is less than 7 hours per night. The research method employed is a one-sample t-test with a comparison value of 7 hours. Data were collected through a questionnaire on respondents' average daily sleep duration. The analysis utilized descriptive and inferential statistics. Histogram visualization indicates that the distribution of sleep duration is predominantly below 7 hours. Furthermore, the one-sample t-test results show a p-value < 0.05, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis. Therefore, it can be concluded that the average sleep duration of respondents is significantly lower than 7 hours. This study is expected to contribute academically to statistical applications and raise awareness of healthy sleep management.

Abstract

Ongoing developments in digital technology have driven banks to implement application-based services, positioning mobile banking as a central channel for financial transactions. Nevertheless, Generation Z’s intention to adopt mobile banking differs considerably and is shaped by multiple influencing factors. Using a quantitative approach, this research explores the factors that shape Generation Z’s intention toward mobile banking usage. This study utilized primary data obtained from questionnaires completed by Generation Z participants, which were then examined using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. The findings indicate that some variables significantly affect mobile banking usage intention, while others show no significant impact. These results are expected to provide practical insights for banking institutions in formulating and enhancing digital service strategies that align more closely with the preferences and characteristics of Generation Z.

Abstract

The Data Pokok Pendidikan (Dapodik) service plays a crucial role in educational administration, requiring accurate data, fast processing, and easy access for school operators. In practice, the Provincial Education Office of South Sumatra provides two types of services: online services and face-to-face services. Each mechanism has its own strengths and weaknesses. Face-to-face services often result in long queues, unmeasured waiting times, and crowding during peak periods. Meanwhile, the online service through the s.id/antriandapodik platform offers more accessible processing but still lacks key features such as estimated waiting time, real-time queue status, and automated notifications. This practical work research aims to analyze the effectiveness of both service mechanisms and to develop a more structured online queueing system. The study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the Waterfall model, including needs analysis, system design, development, and evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The results show that implementing an online queueing system equipped with digital queue numbers, scheduled visits, a monitoring dashboard, and automated notifications successfully reduces physical queues by up to 40%, increases time efficiency, and helps staff better manage daily workloads. Furthermore, user satisfaction significantly improves, especially in terms of accessibility and transparency of service processes. The study concludes that online and face-to-face services complement each other. Online services are more effective for simple administrative tasks, while face-to-face services remain essential for complex cases that require direct verification. Integrating both service models is recommended to create a more efficient, modern, and responsive Dapodik service system.

Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged government agencies to adopt digital systems in various administrative aspects, including employee attendance management. The implementation of this digital system aims to improve the effectiveness, accuracy, and transparency of attendance recording. This study aims to analyze the implementation of a mobile-based attendance system integrated with facial recognition technology in the Tangerang City Office environment. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through literature studies, observation, and documentation. The results show that the use of facial recognition technology can improve the accuracy of attendance recording, strengthen data security, and reduce the potential for fraud. However, the implemented system still has limitations, particularly related to environmental lighting conditions and the quality of the supporting devices used.

Abstract

Waste management continues to be a major issue in community environments, particularly in residential areas and public spaces. Limited trash bin capacity, low public discipline in disposing of waste properly, and inefficient conventional management systems often lead to waste accumulation and environmental degradation. Therefore, the application of technology is needed to improve cleanliness and efficiency in waste handling. This research aims to design and develop an Arduino Uno-based Smart Trash Bin that operates automatically without requiring direct physical interaction from users. The system employs an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor to detect object presence and an SG90 servo motor to control the opening and closing mechanism of the trash bin lid. The research methodology follows the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework, which includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing stages. The testing results indicate that the system is capable of accurately detecting objects and automatically controlling the lid mechanism based on the predefined distance. Therefore, the proposed Smart Trash Bin is expected to contribute to improved environmental cleanliness, more efficient waste management, and the adoption of smart technology within community settings.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is currently growing rapidly and has a significant impact on higher education, one form of its application is ChatGPT as a learning support tool. Students utilize ChatGPT to assist in understanding learning materials, completing academic assignments, and improving learning efficiency. This study aims to determine students’ perceptions of the use of ChatGPT as a learning support tool in higher education. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed by distributing a Likert-scale questionnaire to 30 undergraduate students. The research instrument consisted of eight items measuring perceived usefulness, ease of use, and impact on learning. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and reliability testing. The results indicate that students have positive perceptions of ChatGPT, with mean scores categorized as high to very high. The reliability test yielded a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.884, indicating excellent internal consistency. These findings suggest that ChatGPT is an effective and well-accepted learning support tool for university students.
