Abstract

Apart from that, this journal also explores the number of school principals and teachers in Indonesia divided into four provinces: DKI Jakarta, West Java, Central Java and East Java based on age groups. Abstract

The diversity of the age of educators in Indonesia affects the quality of education in each region. The uneven age distribution, with a shortage of productive teachers and an increasing number of teachers approaching retirement, is a challenge in equalizing the quality of education. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive analysis to analyze the age distribution of educators in four provinces: South Kalimantan, West Sulawesi, West Nusa Tenggara, and Bengkulu. Data from KEMENDIKBUDRlSEK 2023 were analyzed using SPSS to calculate the mean and median, presented in tables, histograms, and frequency polygons. The results of the study show significant differences in the age distribution of educators and the imbalance in the number of teachers and students in several provinces, which have an impact on the quality of education. This study provides important insights for more effective education policies by considering the age distribution of educators.

Abstract

Anxiety disorder is a mental disorder related to the mind that causes significant and excessive anxiety in patients, accompanied by specific signs and symptoms. Although this disorder is a common mental disorder in society, many people are not aware of its initial onset. The first aspect that may contribute to anxiety is the environment or nearby living place, which can impact how people view themselves, and the second is feeling depressed. When people cannot express their emotions in intimate relationships, anxiety can arise. Physical causes are included in the latter category. Anxiety may result from constant interaction between the mind and body. Based on these problems, an expert system with the certainty factor method is one technique to reduce and help patients with anxiety disorders understand symptoms or causes in the field of technology. This study aims to develop a web-based expert system application to diagnose anxiety disorders based on symptoms experienced by patients (users) using the Certainty Factor method. Diagnostic results will be provided in the form of information and initial solutions for each type of anxiety disorder diagnosed with the disease experienced, which has a percentage value. Based on information collected from experts, as a result of researching to identify anxiety disorders, the system can operate according to its function. And the diagnosis testing of the system based on a collection of patient symptoms can indicate optimal diseases.

Abstract

Production of paper or paper core requires a drying oven which functions to reduce the moisture level of the paper. With a paper drying oven capacity of 1 ton, it causes temperature values in the room, which can affect production results. The resulting product has a moisture level that is too low <8%, so it is not straight. One of the influencing factors is environmental temperature and several other factors. So we need a system that regulates temperature stably and accurately. The proportional integral derivative control system or PID is a general control method in the context of process control which is used to maintain the value of a process variable at the desired set point (Closed Loop System). The advantages of PID systems include the ability to adapt to changing conditions quickly and effectively. However, optimal results require careful parameter tuning and adjustment according to the specific characteristics of the controlled system. The research method involves installing an electrical panel, using software in the form of thermo controls, thermocouples. During the research process, adjust the values of the PID parameters to the ideal temperature. The tuning process is carried out to obtain optimal PID parameters, achieving a fast and stable response to load variations. The research results show the application of PID with proportional parameters, so that data is obtained for 5.5 seconds. Meanwhile, in the integral, data was obtained for 108 seconds. Data reduction of 22 seconds optimized with a temperature point of 600C, with a time of 2 days. The aim of this research is to achieve the desired set point so that the resulting response is good in maintaining temperature stability and PID system performance. Abstract

For land clearing from grass plants that surround the land, it is necessary to cut the grass. So the author here makes a prototype of a lawn mower using an Arduino control. This Arduino lawn mower uses a DC motor to drive the blades. The speed of the dc motor for this lawn mower is regulated by the L298N Driver programmed using an Arduino uno which can be adjusted using the keypad speed. The methods and procedures used are, field observations, planning, collecting materials, making portotypes, making Arduino programs and conducting experiments. The test results from this study indicate that this prototype works according to its design, where if humans use this tool it will be easier to adjust the speed of the lawn mower itself by pressing the keypad and it will automatically appear on the LCD with a PWM limit of NYS 225.

Abstract

In the digital era, efficient management of birth certificate archives is essential to improve public services. The Tangerang District Population and Civil Registration Office has a big responsibility in providing and managing population data. However, the manual process that is still used often causes loss of documents, difficulty searching for data, and slow service. This research aims to design and implement a website-based Birth Certificate Archive Information System for the Population and Civil Registration Office of Tangerang Regency. The Waterfall method was used as a system development approach, including the stages of analysis,design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The results show that this website-based system can simplify archiving, speed up data searches, and reduce dependence on physical documents. Black Box testing ensures the system functions according to user needs. This system is expected to have a positive impact in improving the efficiency of archive management, supporting document digitization, and improving the quality of public services.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a decision support system that supports the appointment process of permanent employees from contract employees using the TOPSIS method. Given the importance of having quality human resources, an objective and efficient selection process is needed to ensure the quality of employees. The criteria used in this research include attendance, performance, discipline, loyalty, offense, length of service, and last level of education. The TOPSIS method was chosen due to its ability to analyze alternatives based on distance to positive and negative ideal solutions. The evaluation results show that this system can provide appropriate recommendations in determining employees who are eligible to be appointed as permanent employees, with a high level of accuracy. This research concludes that the application of a TOPSIS-based decision support system is very effective and recommended for use in the employee selection process in a corporate environment.

Abstract

Rizky Service tJomputer is a business engaged in computer and laptop repair services. Founded by Rizky Hanifudin in 2018, this business is located at Kebonsalak, RT 04/RW 01, Purwosari, Kranggan District, Temanggung Regency, Central Java 56271. Rizky Service tJomputer caters to various technical needs of computers and laptops, including reinstallations, device damage analysis, operating system installations, application installations, hardware repairs, component upgrades, and technical consultations. Evaluating the performance of technicians is one of the main focuses to improve service quality and customer satisfaction. Currently, the performance appraisal system at Rizky Service tJomputer is still done manually and subjectively. To increase objectivity, this study proposes a decision support system (DSS) based on 360 Degree Feedback and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). The 360 Degree Feedback method is very suitable because it involves assessments from multiple perspectives, namely customers, fellow technicians, and self-assessment. Meanwhile, the SAW method is used for a weighted summation method that seeks the weighted sum of performance ratings on each alternative for all attributes, such as service speed, work quality, and customer satisfaction levels. The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is an effective and easy-to-use tool in decision support systems (DSS) to evaluate various alternatives based on several criteria. With this method, we can sum up the weighted values of each criterion to obtain a total score used in the ranking of alternatives. This method is suitable for use in various situations, including employee assessment, product selection, and project evaluation.
