Abstract

Dragon fruit is a cactus plant that originates from Mexico. Dragon fruit began to enter and be recognized in Indonesia in the early 2000s. This Thai-imported plant then rapidly developed in Indonesia. Serdang Bedagai Regency is one of the producers of dragon fruit in North Sumatra province. The dragon fruit cultivation area uses a polyculture planting system because it is situated among other types of cultivated plants. The use of a polyculture planting system by farmers can affect the diversity of arthropods in a cultivation area. The diversity of arthropods is believed to be usable as one of the bioindicators of the condition of an ecosystem. The purpose of this research is to determine the diversity of arthropods in dragon fruit plantations. The research methods used include direct observation, net traps, yellow traps, and pitfall traps. Insect identification was carried out using an insect identification book and the Naturalist application. The results of this study identified 7 orders, including Diptera, Hymenoptera, Lepidoptera, Orthoptera, Coleoptera, Hemiptera, and Acarina. In this study, the diversity index value was found to be 1.77, which is classified as moderate, the arthropod richness index was 1.65, which is classified as low, and the arthropod evenness index was 0.72, which is classified as high.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi kebijakan penataan toko tradisional dan toko modern di Kabupaten Bangka berdasarkan Peraturan Bupati Nomor 28 Tahun 2020 tentang Penataan Toko Swalayan. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh pertumbuhan ritel modern seperti Indomaret dan Alfamart yang pesat dan berdampak terhadap kelangsungan usaha toko tradisional dan UMKM, khususnya di Kecamatan Sungailiat. Fenomena tersebut menimbulkan ketimpangan dalam persaingan usaha dan menimbulkan kekhawatiran terhadap keberlanjutan ekonomi masyarakat lokal.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan dokumentasi terhadap pihak terkait, seperti Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Perizinan Terpadu, pelaku usaha toko modern dan tradisional, serta masyarakat sebagai konsumen. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model implementasi kebijakan George C. Edward III dengan empat indikator utama: komunikasi, sumber daya, disposisi/sikap pelaksana, dan struktur birokrasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kebijakan penataan toko swalayan di Kabupaten Bangka belum berjalan secara optimal. Masih terdapat pelanggaran terhadap ketentuan zonasi, jarak antar toko swalayan dan toko tradisional, serta lemahnya pengawasan terhadap perizinan usaha. Faktor pendukung dalam implementasi kebijakan ini antara lain adanya landasan hukum yang jelas dan dukungan sebagian masyarakat. Adapun faktor penghambatnya meliputi lemahnya koordinasi antarinstansi, minimnya sosialisasi kepada pelaku usaha dan masyarakat, serta keterbatasan sumber daya pengawas di lapangan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya penguatan pengawasan, peningkatan koordinasi antar lembaga, dan evaluasi berkala terhadap implementasi Peraturan Bupati guna menjamin keberlanjutan usaha toko tradisional dan keadilan ekonomi di masyarakat.Hasil penelitian Implementasi Kebijakan Penataan toko swalayan yaitu sudah di atur dan dijalankan namun Regulasinya belum optimal. Kata Kunci: Implementasi Kebijakan, Toko Tradisional, Toko Modern, Peraturan Bupati, Kabupaten Bangka.

Abstract

Delta Graha Makmur faces challenges in selecting steel plate raw material suppliers due to a manual system that focuses solely on price, resulting in 30% delivery delays, inconsistent quality, unreliable supplier dependency, as well as increased costs and production disruptions. This study aims to develop an ANP-TOPSIS-based supplier selection system to evaluate structured criteria such as quality, timeliness, price, and reliability. The objectives include: (1) formulating recommendations for the best suppliers with TOPSIS scores >0.8, (2) reducing production delays by 40% within three months post-implementation, and (3) developing a training module for the procurement team. The research method is carried out in four stages over 12 weeks: ANP modeling through interviews, performance data collection from five suppliers, TOPSIS analysis and simulation, as well as system implementation and training. The expected outcomes are improved supplier selection efficiency and reduced negative impacts on production.

Abstract

Plate working practicum is one of the learning activities in the Mechanical Engineering Department, Bandung State Polytechnic. The use of practicum tools can facilitate students and lecturers in carrying out these activities. The problem encountered during plate working practicum is the limited availability of tools to press the edges of prism-shaped workpieces made by students. This leads students to use alternative tools such as plate bending tools, clamps, and hammers, which are less effective as they take longer and risk damaging the material due to uneven pressure. Based on this issue, the design and creation of a pressing tool is necessary to support the plate working practical activity. The mechanism of this tool uses the pressing force of a punch to shape or cut the workpiece according to the desired form and size. The design of this tool uses the Pahl & Beitz method, considering safety, ease of use, and ease of manufacturing. The final specifications of the press tool have dimensions of 300x250x253 mm, a tool weight of 47.3 kg, and a tool capacity to press plates up to 1 mm thick. Tests were conducted on ST37 steel plates with a thickness of 1 mm and plates with a thickness of 0.5 mm, demonstrating that the press tool can function effectively in the hemming process, both on 1 mm thick plates and prism-shaped workpieces.

Abstract

Gasoline engine vehicles are vehicles that use 2 fuels, namely air and gasoline. In this test, it was observed that the fuel pump fastening bolt was damaged. This damage needs to be analyzed and examined to determine the cause of the damage to the fastening bolt component. The methods used to research bolt components include visual inspection, fractography, hardness testing, and Finite element method analysis using Solidworks software. From the results of the fractography test, it was determined that the damage to the bolt was caused by a torsional moment, leading to a fatigue fracture. The material used in the bolt component is ASTM A36. To validate the bolt material and determine the hardness value of the ASTM A36 material, a hardness test using the Vickers method was required, and the hardness results obtained for the ASTM A36 material were around 259.6 HV. The next test was to analyze the bolt to determine the torsional moment that occurred using the FEM method from the SolidWorks software. After the FEM test was carried out by providing a torque of 20 kgf on the bolt component, the bolt component broke due to holding an excessive load. Thus, the cause of damage to bolt components is due to excessive moment loads and material quality degradation.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of technology in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms to enhance vocabulary acquisition. Drawing upon a literature review of empirical studies, it examines the effectiveness of various technological tools and approaches, including mobile-assisted vocabulary learning (MAVL) with spaced repetition systems, gamification for motivation, augmented reality (AR) for contextual learning, learner-created multimedia for active processing, and a pedagogical integration framework for cohesive instructional design. Findings indicate that while each technology offers unique benefits such as improved retention, increased learner autonomy, and contextual depththeir effectiveness depends on strategic pedagogical implementation. The synthesis of results suggests that combining MAVL for individual study, gamification for sustained engagement, AR for immersive contextualization, and multimedia production for output-focused tasks can create a multimodal, learner-centered vocabulary learning ecosystem. This integrative approach aligns with cognitive and sociocultural theories of language learning, offering a comprehensive model for technology-enhanced EFL vocabulary instruction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa melalui penerapan metode drill dengan media gambar pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas II SDN 3 Jagapura Lor Kecamatan Gegesik Kabupaten Cirebon. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 22 siswa yang terdiri dari 10 siswa perempuan dan 12 siswa laki-laki. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan baik pada aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, maupun hasil belajar. Aktivitas guru meningkat dari 69,11% pada siklus I menjadi 89,70% pada siklus II. Aktivitas siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dari 77,94% pada siklus I menjadi 91,17% pada siklus II. Pencapaian ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat dari 36,36% pada siklus I menjadi 86,36% pada siklus II. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode drill dengan media gambar efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze user preferences toward online transportation systems in Sorong City. Along with the development of digital technology, online transportation services such as Maxim, Gojek, and Grab are increasingly favored by the public due to their convenience, speed, and comfort. However, user satisfaction and preferences can be influenced by various factors, such as price, safety, comfort, speed, accessibility, and application features. This research was conducted using a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who are active users of online transportation services in Sorong City. The analytical technique used is conjoint analysis to determine the most preferred service attributes and combinations by users. The results show that application features are the most influential factor in user preferences, followed by speed, price, accessibility, comfort, and safety. These findings indicate that online transportation service providers should focus on enhancing user-friendly application features and improving speed to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. This study is expected to serve as input for both service providers and local governments in formulating transportation policies based on community needs.

Abstract

Machine reliability in production units is an important aspect in ensuring productivity and efficiency in various industrial sectors. The purpose of this study is to focus on improving reliability. The Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method is used to analyze as an effort to improve machine reliability. FMEA provides a comprehensive understanding of reliability improvement strategies by strengthening reliability prediction and preventive maintenance strategies. This method is also used to identify potential failures in the system, evaluate their impact, and design effective maintenance strategies. Results and Discussion showed that the Mazak Variaxis CNC milling machine had the highest percentage of problems, reaching 40% based on downtime and frequency of occurrence in the prismatic cell. Based on the FMEA analysis, the main failure mode was identified through the calculation of the Risk Priority Number (RPN) with the highest values ​​of 126 (rank 1), 120 (rank 2), and 105 (rank 3). RPN values ​​greater than 87.93 are categorized as critical failures. The ATC (Automatic Tool Changer) component occupies a crucial position with the highest percentage of component problem factors, reaching 129%. Conclusion: By using an empirical approach, the proposed implementation of actions as an effort to reduce the RPN number and increase machine reliability by prioritizing problems based on the RPN value scale, increasing the intensity of preventive maintenance scheduling and periodic replacements, and planning spare parts stock.

Abstract

The Banda Islands are part of the Central Maluku Regency. This region has significant fisheries potential, particularly in aquaculture, and one promising sector to be developed is fish farming using the Floating Net Cage (FNC) system. One of the fish species cultivated in the Floating Net Cage system in the Banda Islands is the Bubara fish (Caranx sp.). This study aimed to determine the growth rate and survival of Bubara fish (Caranx sp.) cultivated in the EcoNusa floating net cages located in Gunung Api Island, Nusantara Village. The benefit of this research is to provide information and serve as a reference for fish farmers in improving the cultivation of Bubara fish in floating net cages. A field survey or quantitative method was employed to obtain preliminary information regarding Bubara fish (Caranx sp.) in the EcoNusa floating net cages at Gunung Api Island, Nusantara Village. The results showed an increase in fish body weight of 2.7 grams during the 30-day rearing period. Based on the weight gain data, the growth rate of Bubara fish during the study was found to be 9%, calculated from the average final weight minus the average initial weight multiplied by 100%.
