Abstract

This research is based on the completion of student learning outcomes in science subjects that are not optimal, namely 83% of 25 students out of 30 students who have not completed. Because the teaching and learning process is more dominated by teachers, still using conventional learning models. One of the things that is done is to update the learning model that places students as the center of learning, namely by using the Learning Cycle 5E model. This study aims to determine the application of the Learning Cycle 5E learning model, to determine the improvement of science process skills and learning outcomes of class V students of UPTD SDN 1 Lajer. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 3 cycles and using the Kemmis & MC Taggart design model consisting of four steps and repetitions, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This research was conducted in class V of SD Negeri 1 Lajer totaling 30 students. The results of the application of science process skills in cycle I, cycle II, and singkus III increased gradually. The percentage of cycle I is 59% in the sufficient category, cycle II is 80% in the good category, and cycle III is 85% in the very good category. Student learning outcomes have increased. In cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III students met the learning completeness and increased in each cycle from 15 students with a percentage of 50% there was an increase to 22 students with a percentage of 73% then increased to 26 students with a percentage of 87%. This study shows that learning outcomes have reached the classical success indicator of 85%. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the Learning Cycle 5E model can improve science process skills and learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students' statements that mathematics is a difficult subject and the lack of enthusiasm of students in participating in the learning process. Based on these problems, this classroom action research aims to apply the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) model assisted by geoboard media to improve students' critical thinking and collaboration skills in mathematics subjects for grade IV students of SDN 2 Pringgacala. The subjects of the research were grade IV students of SDN 2 Pringgacala in the 2024/2025 school year with a total of 37 students. This research was conducted in 3 cycles consisting of 4 stages in each cycle, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques used in this study include observation and testing. The data collection instruments used were observation sheets and test questions. The results of this study indicate that the results of the application of the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) model in cycle I obtained an average score of 3.7 then in cycle II it increased to 3.8 and in cycle III it increased again to 3.9. The improvement of students' critical thinking skills can be seen in cycle I obtaining an average score of 76 then in cycle II it increased to 83 and in cycle III it increased again to 86. The improvement of students' collaboration skills can be seen in cycle I obtaining an average score of 3.28 then in cycle II it increased to 3.45 and in cycle III it increased again to 3.6. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) model assisted by geoboard media can improve students' critical thinking and collaboration skills

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa melalui penerapan metode drill dengan media gambar pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas II SDN 3 Jagapura Lor Kecamatan Gegesik Kabupaten Cirebon. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 22 siswa yang terdiri dari 10 siswa perempuan dan 12 siswa laki-laki. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan baik pada aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, maupun hasil belajar. Aktivitas guru meningkat dari 69,11% pada siklus I menjadi 89,70% pada siklus II. Aktivitas siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dari 77,94% pada siklus I menjadi 91,17% pada siklus II. Pencapaian ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat dari 36,36% pada siklus I menjadi 86,36% pada siklus II. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode drill dengan media gambar efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This research uses a true experimental design method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study were all fifth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Bojong Lor. By using sampling techniques, class V B was determined as the experimental class with a total of 22 students and class V A as the control class with a total of 24 students. Research data was collected through written tests and questionnaires.Based on the results of statistical calculations using two independent t tests (Independent Samples Test), tcount was 0.041 and ttable was 2,100. So tcount (0.041)> ttable (2,100), this shows that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. Thus, it can be stated that the problem based learning (PBL) model assisted by fun thinkers book media is applied in learning spatial structures and spatial nets in class V students at SD Negeri 1 Bojong Lor. Based on analysis of questionnaire data, it is proven that the application of the problem based learning model can increase student learning motivation in the learning process of spatial structures and spatial nets in class V students at SD Negeri 1 Bojong Lor.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the completeness of student learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects, namely as many as 14 students out of 22 students have not completed. Due to the process of learning activities dominated by the teacher, still using conventional models. One of the efforts made is the renewal of the learning model by using the Project Based Learning model with the help of Canva. This study aims to determine the application of the Project Based Learning model assisted by Canva, to determine the increase in creativity and learning outcomes of grade V students of UPTD SDN 3 Juntinyuat. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with three cycles using the design model from Kemmis & MC Taggart which consists of four steps, namely: planning, implementation, observation, reflection. This research was applied to grade V students totaling 22 students. The results of student creativity during the learning process increased in cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III. The percentage of cycle I is 65% of the moderately creative category, the percentage of cycle II is 76% of the creative category, and the percentage of cycle III is 81% of the very creative category. Student learning outcomes obtained during the action implementation process have increased. It can be seen from the results of cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III that students met learning completeness and increased in each cycle from 12 students with a percentage of 55% there was an increase to 16 students with a percentage of 73% then increased to 19 students with a percentage of 86%. This research shows that it has reached the 85% classical success indicator. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the Project Based Learning model assisted by Canva can improve the creativity and learning outcomes of elementary school students.

Abstract

Dalam proses pembelajaran pengoptimalan penggunaan indra yang dimiliki siswa harus lebih diperhatikan, hal itu berkaitan dengan kecerdasan siswa yang berdampak pada cara siswa mengolah dan menyerap materi pelajaran, karena sebagian siswa tidak hanya memiliki satu jenis kecerdasan tetapi bisa beberapa kecerdasan lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran SAVI terhadap pembelajaran IPA, serta untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa dan peningkatan multiple intelligence siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan III siklus yang terdiri dari empat tahap meliputi perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 28 siswa kelas V tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perolehan skor akhir observasi penerapan SAVI sebesar 127 dengan persentase 88,19% yang termasuk kategori sangat baik. Perolehan skor akhir motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 2169 dengan persentase 86,07% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Perolehan skor akhir multiple intelligence siswa sebesar 2178 dengan persentase 77,79% yang termasuk kategori tinggi, serta perolehan persentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar 89% atau 25 siswa yang mencapai KKM. Berdasarkan hasil dan analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA menggunakan model pembelajaran SAVI ini terlaksana dengan baik dan dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dan peningkatan multiple intelligence siswa kelas V UPTD SD Negeri 2 Majakerta serta dapat mencapai indikator keberhasilan yang ditargetkan.

Abstract

This research is based on the fact that students' learning completion in PPKn lessons has not been maximized, there are 70% or 14 students who have not completed it. Because the teaching and learning process is more dominated by teachers, still using conventional models, namely lectures and practice questions. One of the things that is done is the renewal of learning methods that place students as the center of learning, one of which is using the Show and Tell method model and collaboration skills in PPKn Learning in everyday life. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Show and Tell method, to determine the improvement in PPKn learning outcomes and collaboration skills of grade IV students of SDN 1 Kalianyar with the implementation of the Show and Tell Method. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with III cycles using the design model from Kemmis and MC Taggart which consists of four steps, namely: planning, implementation, observation, reflection. This research was applied to 20 grade IV students. The learning outcomes obtained during the implementation of the action increased as seen from the results of cycle III, as many as 18 students completed with a classical average of 81.8 and a percentage of 90%. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the Show and Tell method can improve learning outcomes and collaboration skills of elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning motivation and learning outcomes by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Diorama Media to improve motivation and science learning outcomes for grade III students of UPTD SDN 1 Kedokanbunder Wetan. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted through three cycles, each consisting of Planning, Implementation, Observation, and Reflection, with research subjects being third-grade students of UPTD SDN 1 Kedokanbunder Wetan, Kedokanbunder District, Indramayu Regency. With a total of 40 students, data collection methods used were questionnaires, tests, and observations. Observations of the application of the problem based learning (PBL) model in cycle I reached 83%, observations in cycle II reached 85%, and observations in cycle III reached 87%. Students' learning motivation in cycle I reached 79%, in cycle II 82%, and in cycle III 85%. Analysis of students' learning outcomes after the action in cycle I showed an average score of 62%, after the action in cycle II the average score was 75%, after the action in cycle III the average score was 85%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of the problem based learning (PBL) model assisted by diorama media can improve learning motivation and science learning outcomes for grade III students of UPTD SDN 1 Kedokanbunder Wetan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by animated videos on students' learning motivation and critical thinking skills, as well as the effect of learning motivation on students' critical thinking skills. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study was all NU Kaplongan Elementary School students in the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 389 students. Using a simple random sampling technique, class VA was determined as the experimental class with 29 students and class VB as the control class with 30 students. Research data were collected through questionnaires and written tests. Based on the results of the independent sample t-test, the Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.016. Because the Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.016 <0.05, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Based on the results of the independent sample t-test, the Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.039. Because the Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.039 < 0.05, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the results of the simple linear regression test, a Sig. of 0.044 is obtained. Because the Sig. value is 0.044 < 0.05, it can be concluded that learning motivation has an effect on critical thinking skills. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by animated videos on students' learning motivation and critical thinking skills, and there is an influence of learning motivation on students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the completeness of student learning outcomes in science subjects that have not been maximized, namely 27 students (63%) have not reached the KKM. This is because the learning process is still dominated by the teacher, students are less involved in the learning process. One of the efforts made is to update the learning model by using the Project Based Learning model. This study aims to determine the application of the PjBL learning model in science subjects, to determine the increase in learning activities and learning outcomes of grade V students of UPTD SD Negeri 1 Tanjungsari. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with three cycles consisting of four steps, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This research was applied to grade V students with a total of 43 students. The results of the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model increased in each cycle. In cycle I, 81.53% of the good category, cycle II, 87.69% of the very good category and cycle III, 94.61% of the very good category. The results of student activity also increased in each cycle. In cycle I, 67.57% of the moderate category, cycle II 79.81% of the good category, in cycle III 86.36% of the very good category. Student learning outcomes obtained during the action implementation process have increased in each cycle. In cycle I there were 23 students with a percentage of 53.49% of students completed, cycle II there were 37 students with a percentage of 86.05% students completed, and cycle III there were 38 students with a percentage of 88.37% students completed. This research shows that student learning outcomes reach the 80% classical success indicator. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the application of the Project Based Learning learning model in science subjects in grade V elementary schools can improve student learning activities and results.
