Abstract

This Community Service activity is specifically aimed at the management and members of the Pokdarwis Wisata Pesesekh Khikit, which totals 20 people. The training will be carried out with an Andragogy approach using the Simulation and Exercise method, where the presenter on this occasion acts as a model in the process of promoting tourism using persuasive language and followed by practice by the participants. The problem in the partner environment is that many members of the Pokdarwis Wisata Pesesekh Khikit do not use promotional media on social media. Even if someone uses social media, they only rely on promotions in the Whatsapp group. They do not have enough knowledge about communication technology, especially features on social media and their functions and uses. Therefore, they do not understand marketing and business communication and carry out product promotions persuasively in attracting tourists on social media. In this training, Pokdarwis administrators and members as participants will be provided with; 1) the importance of the use of persuasive language, 2) the use of good and correct persuasive language, 3) the use of social media in promotions, and 4) the use of social media features. Through this training, service practitioners will share their knowledge and experiences during research in marketing strategies using persuasive language on social media. Thus, after participating in this training, participants are expected to have knowledge, experience, and skills so that they are able to compose persuasive words in creating content on social media.

Abstract

The central government in recent years has disbursed village funds throughout the province of Lampung. Allocation of village funds (ADD) is channeled to advance infrastructure development, especially road construction and village irrigation. Tulung Agung Village, Gading Rejo District, Tanggamus Regency is one of the villages that carries out road construction and irrigation. This activity was carried out in June 2021. The method used in this research is coordination. This activity aims to help villages in their efforts to improve infrastructure. The form of this activity is socialization and technical guidance regarding the construction of roads and village irrigation.

Abstract

The development of organic agriculture at this time has become one of the alternative technologies to overcome environmental problems. This research was conducted in Wayhuwi Village, Jati Agung District, South Lampung Regency. This research is a community service activity in an effort to utilize livestock manure into organic fertilizer. The method used in this research is the method of training and community empowerment. The purpose of this service is to create public awareness in processing and maintaining natural wealth. The manufacture of Organic Fertilizer (PUPOR) with this microbial mixture is fully supported by the Wayhuwi Village community. Due to their ignorance, they manage animal manure which is beneficial and causes environmental pollution so that it disturbs the comfort of the population, both in terms of health and others.Keywords: Organic Fertilizer, Animal Manure, Environmental Hygiene.

Abstract

Village community empowerment is a conscious effort from government officials both at the village and district levels, especially towards a potential that exists in the village as a form of assets/wealth owned by the village. This research is about community service in making portable stoves. The method used is descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted in Bagelan Village, Gedong Tataan District, Pesawaran Regency. Participants in this activity are residents of Bagelan Village. The purpose of this study is to reveal knowledge about portable suitcases, and as a form of concern for areas that still lack funds or sales of LPG gas. From this research, this portable stove is very useful because in terms of its simple use and economical cost, the Pertebel stove can also overcome the scarcity of other fuels such as 3kg LPG gas.

Abstract

The canal is one of the complementary buildings on the road segment in meeting the technical requirements of road infrastructure. The highway channel serves to circulate air that can interfere with road users, so that the road body remains dry. This research was conducted in Sumber Agung Village, Kemiling District, Bandar Lampung City on September 17, 2021. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The purpose of this study is to explain to the public what is meant by a drainage system and explain how the procedures for a good road drainage system are to prevent this from happening in the road area. The conclusion of this study is that rural problems are problems that have a fairly high complexity so that a comprehensive and sustainable solution is needed. The participation of local communities in the implementation of community empowerment is still low due to the lack of public awareness in maintaining drainage channels.

Abstract

Danau Tirta Gangga merupakan sebuah danau buatan yang terletak di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah, Kecamatan Seputih Banyak, tepatnya berada di Kampung Swastika Buana. Danau ini memiliki luas sekitar 150 hektar dan digunakan oleh masyarakat untuk pengairan lahan pertanian sekitar 3000 ha di sekitar kawasan. Danau Tirta Gangga memiliki daya tarik tersendiri terhadap wisatawan lokal untuk menikmati keindahan alam dan pemandangannya. Namun beberapa kegiatan masyarakat menyebabkan aspek keindahan alam menjadi berkurang dan menimbulkan permasalahan pada suplai air baku untuk pertanian.Sehingga diperlukan suatu tindakan yang dapat mempertahankan fungsi awal dari danau ini bahkan menambahkan nilai keekonomisan bagi masyarakat. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan memetakan potensi geowisata baru yang dapat dikembangkan dan dikelola oleh masyarakat, mengedukasi masyarakat dalam peningkatan kualitas dan keunggulan/kearifan lokal yang berimbas pada peningkatan nilai ekonomi kawasan Danau Tirta Gangga dengan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi untuk media promosi (dengan Drone) profil kawasan wisata Danau Tirta Gangga.Manfaat dari pengabdian ini adalah terpetakannya potensi geowisata baru yang dapat dikembangkan dan dikelola oleh masyarakat serta terbentuknya media promosi video profil kawasan wisata Danau Tirta Gangga yang dapat disebarkan melalui media internet sehingga wisatawan dapat dengan mudah mengenal dan tertarik untuk berkunjung ke Danau Tirta Gangga.

Abstract

Energy needs are increasing, while the energy sources used so far have come from petroleum, natural gas and coal (fossil fuels) which are non-renewable and the amount always decreases from time to time. Energy sources derived from renewable fuels are a solution to this problem. One type of product from renewable energy sources derived from vegetable oil is biodiesel (methyl ester). Biodiesel is a monoalkyl ester of long chain fatty acids contained in vegetable oils or animal fats for use as diesel engine fuel. The implementation stage of this activity begins with the preparation of raw materials in the form of preparation of used cooking oil and filtering. The second stage is dissolving caustic soda (2-3 g) into methanol liquid (5:1 methanol water). The third stage is mixing the oil with a solution of methanol and caustic soda into a bottle and allowed to stand for 24 hours, this stage aims to separate the glycerol content in the oil. The fourth step is to separate the oil with solid glycerol and transfer it to an empty container to be mixed with warm water, this aims to remove excess methanol liquid in the oil, let stand for 24 hours. The last step is to separate the oil from the mixing water. From the results of this experiment, a ready-to-use biodiesel liquid was obtained.

Abstract

This service activity aims to empower merchant groups at ITC BSD included in the category of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by providing counseling about online marketing so that they can expand the marketing reach of the products they produce. The purpose of service activities is achieved by conducting counseling to the target audience - through delivery materials related to online marketing to provide insight into the use of electronic media or the internet for support their marketing activities. The target audience is traders who are in ITC BSD. Opening the insight of the target audience so that they have the ability to market the product generated online through the use or utilization of electronic media or the internet so that they can reach a wider market at low cost..

Abstract

Tourism development, especially in Mekarbuana Tegalwaru Village in Karawang Regency. This must be supported by the English language skills of the villagers who should be ready to receive foreign tourists who come. But in reality their abilities tend to be relatively low because on average they have a minimal educational background. Based on this statement, our community service team focused on community service to improve daily activity conversation in English. The community service training program resulted in an increase in the ability to speak and communicate in English, increased management that supports the promotion of the village, increased bias to communicate properly and correctly. During the tourism activities in Mekarbuana Village, Karawang Regency, the government and the community have worked together to improve tourism in their area.

Abstract

HIV and AIDS is one of the dangerous diseases that cannot be cured. Based on data from the Riau Health Office, the number of HIV cases in 2019 was 533 cases. The number of HIV cases in the 15-19- year-old was 7 cases, the 20-24-year-old was 77 cases and the highest was found in the 25-49-year-old was 397 cases. This was the basis of the author's interest in conducting counseling about HIV and AIDS at Santa Maria High School Pekanbaru. This counseling aims to provide information and understanding about HIV and AIDS. The method used was counseling by delivering information through lectures and conducting questions and answers to the community to increase understanding and awareness about HIV and AIDS. This counseling would be held on April 5, 2022 at 09.00 WIB to 11.00 WIB at Santa Maria High School Pekanbaru. The result of this counseling was the implementation of counseling about HIV and AIDS to Santa Maria High School Pekanbaru students by providing information and understanding about the importance of a healthy lifestyle to prevent people from contracting HIV and AIDS.
