Abstract

This community empowerment activity was carried out in Sebewe Village, North Moyo District, Sumbawa Regency. Based on the results of community service activities with the theme "Training Assistance for Google Bisnisku and Sahabat UMKM to Improve Marketing in the Digital Era for Small and Medium Business Actors in Sebewe Village, North Moyo District" that have been carried out, it can be concluded as follows: 1) Participants already have additional marketing information through online media and how to use it to market the products of small and medium businesses in Sebewe Village through Google Bisnisku and Sahabat UMKM. 2) The participants of small and medium businesses get a management technique method for marketing products through online media. Abstract

The telang flower plant is known as the Latin Buterfly pea, while the scientific language is Clitoria ternatea. Telang (Clitoria ternatea) is a type of wild plant that has health benefits for the human body. One of the processed pea flower that is useful is as a health drink. The potential of the telang flower has been proven through several studies, namely the bioactive components found in the telang flower, including flavonol glycosides, anthocyanins, flavones, flavonols, phenolic acids, terpenoid and alkaloid compounds, as well as cyclic peptide compounds or cyclotides. This community service activity aims to provide education to residents of Sopu Village, Nokilalaki District, Sigi Regency about the benefits of telang flower and can use it into processed products, such as fresh and dried herbal tea of ​​telang flower. The implementation method of this community service activity is the lecture, discussion and question and answer method. The results of this counseling, it is hoped that the residents of Sopu Village, Nokilalaki District, Sigi Regency have an independent business in making products made from telang flower so that they can improve the economy of the residents of Sopu Village.

Abstract

Self-medication or what is known as self-medication is one of the actions that are often taken by the community to treat skin disorders. Based on a systematic review, it is known that the prevalence of self-medication in skin diseases ranges from 6-44%. Research in Togo, Africa found that 91.1% of people with skin disorders who seek treatment at health services have self-medicated before going to health services, while research conducted in Jakarta showed 44.64% of people were self-medicating for skin diseases with modern or traditional medicines. Allergies are reactions of the human immune system to certain objects, which should not cause reactions in other people's bodies. The reaction can appear in the form of a runny nose, itchy skin rash, or even shortness of breath. The drugs used by the public in self-medication of skin diseases are oral and topical drugs, including preparations containing corticosteroids, antibiotics and antifungals, a combination of salicylic acid and benzoic acid. Self-medication behavior can be influenced by knowledge, sociodemographic characteristics, family and advertising. Based on research, knowledge is the most significant factor influencing self-medication behavior.

Abstract

Omicron merupakan varian COVID-19 yang memiliki potensi penularan 70 kali lebih tinggi. Walaupun sudah menyebar di Indonesia, masih ada masyarakat yang tidak mengetahui virus varian baru ini. Selain masalah di bidang wawasan kesehatan, perilaku sosial masyarakat juga masih sulit untuk ditertibkan dan menolak vaksin booster. Diantara kelompok masyarakat yang menolak vaksin booster, kelompok usia muda mendominasi penolakan tersebut. Padahal kelompok ini merupakan kalangan dengan mobilitas dan produktivitas yang tinggi. Tim pengabdi melakukan penyuluhan dan sosialisasi terkait COVID-19 varian Omicron dan vaksin booster dengan menyasar kelompok Karang Taruna Desa Pancoran Mas, Kecamatan Pancoran Mas, Kota Depok sebagai peserta. Penyuluhan turut melibatkan perwakilan tenaga kesehatan dari Fakultas Kedokteran UPN Veteran Jakarta selaku narasumber ahli. Penyuluhan dilakukan dengan memetakan masalah melalui pre-test yang dibagikan kepada peserta, kegiatan pemaparan materi melalui google meeting, serta pengisian post-test untuk mengetahui pemahaman akhir peserta. Penyuluhan ini bermanfaat untuk menambah kesadaran peserta terhadap pentingnya mendapatkan vaksin booster dan pemahaman terhadap COVID-19 varian baru.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an infectious disease caused by the dengue virus which is transmitted from person to person through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. Kauman Hamlet Labuhan Sumbawa Kec. Labuhan Badas Sumbawa NTB is one of the residential areas that has data on dengue fever every year, and in 2021 there were 7 cases of dengue fever. GEBER PSN or Joint Movement for the Eradication of Mosquito Nests. This movement is an effort to prevent the transmission of dengue disease caused by the Aedes aegypti mosquito. The target of this community service activity is the community members of the Kauman Hamlet, Labuhan Sumbawa, Kec. Sumbawa Regency. Sumbawa, with the aim of inviting the community to participate in the Geber PSN activity while the benefits of this community service activity are to increase public awareness about PSN as an Effort to Prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). This activity was held on April 16, 2022 in Kauman Hamlet, Labuhan Sumbawa, Kec. Sumbawa Regency. Sumbawa by involving the community and students of the S1 Public Health Study Program STIKES Griya Husada Sumbawa. The result of this activity is the implementation of Geber PSN (Joint Movement for the Eradication of Mosquito Nests) as an effort to prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in Kauman Hamlet, Labuhan Sumbawa by inviting and increasing public awareness about PSN as an Effort to Prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF).

Abstract

Coronavirus infection disease (COVID-19) is a disease caused by the Sars-Cov2 virus and the first case was found in the city of Wuhan, China and then rapidly transmitted to other countries all over the world. On March 2020, World Health Organization (WHO) declared this disease as a pandemic. Until now, there are 232.468.228 cases and 4.759.804 death worldwide. This virus had mutated and there are some variants of virus that found during this pandemic with variety of symptoms. Regardless the high morbidity rate of this virus, this pandemic also had effect on the economy sector. Hence, many countries started to give permission to companies to start their activity normally. The incremental activities of the workers with higher mobility rate can cause the higher transmission rate of this disease. Abstract

Community service activities have been carried out in the Prosperous Village, Palolo District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi with the theme of self-medication education. This community service activity aims to provide education to the community about self-medication in the selection of cough and cold medicines as an effort to increase public knowledge in the Sejahtera Village. The methods used in service activities are counseling methods, free health checks and distribution of basic necessities to communities affected by flash floods in Sejahtera village. The results obtained from service activities, namely the Sejahtera village community can understand the concept of choosing cough and cold medicines in self-medication, it can be seen by evaluating the percentage level of community understanding after self-medication counseling activities in the selection of cough and cold medicines obtained results of 90%, which before the activity was carried out service was only obtained by 10%, in addition to that free health checks were carried out after the flash flood disaster experienced by the people of Sejahtera village, Palolo sub-district, Sigi district, Central Sulawesi and besides that the community also received food distribution at the end of the service activity. From the community service activities carried out in the Sejahtera village, it is hoped that the community will be able to better understand the selection of drugs for self-medication, especially for coughs and colds that often occur in this pandemic era.

Abstract

Abstract-Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by bacteria (Mycobacterium tuberculosis) and most often attacks the lungs. tuberculosis is transmitted from smear positive TB patients when coughing or sneezing. Patients can spread germs into the air in the form of sputum sprinkling. Prevention of tuberculosis. This service aims to provide an understanding to the public about tuberculosis. The method used is through counseling and prevention of tuberculosis transmission in the Donggo sub-district community. The results of community service that have been carried out in the Donggo sub-district, Bima district, with the prevention of tuberculosis transmission through socialization is the right way to provide information about tuberculosis prevention and practice clean and healthy behavior habits as an effort to reduce and break the chain of tuberculosis spread in the community. The conclusion is that this infectious disease counseling has an influence on insight and increases knowledge and public awareness, especially the elderly. Abstract

Oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus spp.) are types of mushrooms that can be consumed by humans. People generally cultivate mushrooms with white fruiting bodies, so they are called white oyster mushrooms. The cultivation of oyster mushrooms is the same as the cultivation of other edible mushrooms. White oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) is often found in traditional markets and supermarkets. The market demand for white oyster mushrooms is still very large, but the production of white oyster mushrooms is still very low. Along with the increasing popularity of oyster mushrooms in the community, causing consumer demand and the market for oyster mushrooms to continue to increase, therefore to meet these needs it is necessary to cultivate white oyster mushrooms more optimally. Based on observations in Bandar Sari Village, Central Lampung, the community has not done much white oyster mushroom cultivation, so this community service activity needs to be carried out by conducting training on oyster mushroom cultivation for the local community, it is hoped that this training can serve as an economic source for the community in the future. This training activity was held on September 17, 2021 in Bandar Sari Village, Central Lampung, aiming to provide knowledge about the types of oyster mushrooms and their benefits, oyster mushroom cultivation, and oyster mushroom processing. This activity is expected to provide skills in oyster mushroom cultivation and processing for the people of Bandar Sari Village. The results of the activity showed that people who participated in the training had increased knowledge about the types of oyster mushrooms and their benefits, oyster mushroom cultivation, and oyster mushroom processing. Abstract

The activity of actualizing the values ​​of Pancasila, the 2nd principle of Just and Civilized Humanity, aims to foster a spirit of learning in children because the learning method used is game-based so it is hoped that it will be easy for children to understand and not make children bored with learning so that a knowledgeable and civilized young generation is created. The crisis of the younger generation towards science and etiquette which can be seen from the lack of enthusiasm for learning in children and the ease with which children get bored when learning makes it difficult for children to understand the lessons given. Based on the problems above, we are students of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, Department of Sharia Economic Law, Class B Group 6 in actualizing the values ​​of Pancasila to conduct tutoring activities for children. The various activities that we carry out begin with the opening and introduction of the activities that we will do for elementary school children in the area, delivering mathematics material to elementary school children in an interesting way so that children can understand it, making quizzes as a learning evaluation, holding various games so that children can learn and children are not bored, and give gifts so that children are happy and motivated in learning, and finally the closing of activities
