Abstract

This community service program aims to empower housewives through the creation and management of online stores based on marketplaces. This activity is motivated by the great potential of e-commerce in providing time flexibility and additional economic opportunities for housewives. The implementation method includes intensive training on online store creation, product management, digital marketing, and customer service. As a result, participants are able to create their own online stores and manage their operations well. This program provides a practical solution for housewives to increase income and economic independence. Further assistance and program expansion are recommended to reach more participants.

Abstract

Urban waste management faces significant challenges due to the increasing volume of waste, inadequate infrastructure, low public awareness, and limited use of technology. This community service program aims to develop an information technology-based solution to create a more efficient, environmentally friendly, and community-engaged waste management system. Through the development of a mobile application, residents can report waste conditions in real-time, monitor waste sorting, and access waste collection schedules. The program also includes community training, provision of waste sorting facilities, and educational campaigns to raise environmental awareness. The implementation has shown significant improvements in public participation in waste sorting, reduction in the volume of waste sent to landfills, and overall improvement in environmental quality. Furthermore, this initiative contributes to human resource empowerment through training in technology use and waste management. The success of this program demonstrates that integrating information technology with public education can be an effective solution to urban waste management challenges.

Abstract

This Community Partnership Program aims to develop a Posyandu information system application to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of maternal and child health services. This application is designed to facilitate Posyandu officers in managing patient data, recording health histories, monitoring child development, and providing relevant health information. The application development includes needs analysis, user interface (UI) design, implementation of key features, and application usage training for Posyandu officers. It is expected that with this application, the quality of health services at Posyandu can be improved, and health information access for mothers and children can be facilitated.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has had a significant impact in the world of education, including at the Vocational High School (SMK) level. The need for innovative and interactive learning media encourages the development of mobile applications as an effective learning tool. This research aims to design and build a simple mobile application that can be used by SMK students in Cirebon City as an additional learning media. The application was developed using the Android platform with the Java programming language and utilizing Android Studio as an Integrated Development Environment (IDE). The development method used is waterfall, which consists of the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The content in the application is adjusted to the SMK curriculum, especially in subjects that are practical. The test results show that the application runs well on various Android devices and gets a positive response from users in terms of ease of use and interface appearance. With this application, it is expected that the learning process will become more flexible, interactive, and support the achievement of student competencies optimally. In the future, the application can be further developed by adding features such as interactive practice questions, discussion forums, and integration with online databases to make it more dynamic.

Abstract

Farmer group empowerment is one of the important strategies in increasing agricultural productivity and farmer welfare. This research aims to develop and implement an Android-based agricultural information system as a medium for empowering farmer groups in Nganjuk Regency. The system is designed to provide access to agricultural information in a fast, accurate, and relevant manner, including weather information, commodity prices, cultivation techniques, and consultation with agricultural extension workers. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. The system development process refers to the Waterfall model which includes the stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The implementation results show that the use of an Android-based information system significantly increases farmer group involvement in agricultural activities, accelerates the decision-making process, and improves access to agricultural information resources. In addition, the system facilitates two-way communication between farmers and extension workers, which was previously constrained by time and location limitations. The conclusion of this research is that information technology, especially Android applications, has great potential in empowering farmer groups in a sustainable manner. It is hoped that this system can be adopted more widely by other regions as an information technology-based farmer empowerment solution.

Abstract

In the rapidly growing digital era, the need for skills in the creative industry is very important, especially in the field of video editing. Video editing training for students and youth aims to improve competence and practical skills that are relevant to current industry needs. This training activity was organized by Karang Taruna Kelurahan Lolu Selatan, in collaboration with the Digital Talent Indonesia Course and Training Institute (LKP), and targeted students and youth in Palu City who have an interest in digital creative fields. The training method used a hands-on approach with materials covering the basics of video editing, introduction to software, shooting techniques, and audio visual editing. The results of this training showed an increase in participants' knowledge and skills in using editing software and understanding the video production process. In addition, participants also obtained certificates as a form of recognition of the competencies obtained. This program is expected to be the first step in preparing the younger generation to compete in the world of work, especially in the creative industry sector. In conclusion, video editing training not only provides the benefits of technical skills, but also encourages creativity, innovation, and sustainable youth empowerment.

Abstract

In today's digital age, social media use has become an integral part of teenagers' lives. However, increased access to information and online communication also brings new challenges, especially in terms of digital safety and media etiquette. School adolescents, as active users of social media, often lack an adequate understanding of the risks that can arise from their digital activities. This study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the importance of digital safety and the application of ethics in social media among teenagers. The method used is a literature study combined with an educational approach based on learning and training modules. The results of the study show that most teenagers are not aware of the importance of personal data protection, password security, and the risk of spreading false information or hoaxes. In addition, the lack of ethics in communicating on social media can lead to social conflicts and privacy violations. Therefore, a systematic educational approach is needed to equip teenagers with the knowledge and skills to maintain digital security and act ethically in the digital space. This educational effort needs to involve the role of teachers, parents, and school policies that support digital literacy as a whole.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology (ICT) requires the world of education to adapt, especially in the learning process. Teachers as the frontline in education must have competence in utilizing ICT, one of which is through the use of Google Workspace. This study aims to improve teachers' competence in utilizing Google Workspace through training activities. The method used is training with a participatory approach and hands-on practice. This activity was carried out in the form of workshops attended by teachers from various levels of education, focusing on the utilization of Google applications such as Google Classroom, Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Meet. The results of the activity show an increase in teachers' understanding and skills in operating Google Workspace, which has an impact on increasing the effectiveness of online and offline learning. This training also encourages teachers to be more creative in preparing teaching materials, managing digital classes, and building better interactions with students. The conclusion of this activity is that training on the use of Google Workspace is effective in improving teacher competence in the use of learning technology. It is expected that similar activities can be carried out in a sustainable manner to support digital transformation in education.

Abstract

Micro businesses are the backbone of the Indonesian economy, but there are still many micro businesses that do not have the ability to keep good and systematic financial records. The main problem faced is the lack of understanding of the importance of financial statements as well as limitations in the use of complex accounting technology. This service activity aims to increase the capacity of micro business actors in preparing simple financial reports by utilizing Microsoft Excel. The program is conducted through face-to-face training, hands-on practice, and intensive mentoring. The training materials include basic introduction to accounting, making profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and using Excel templates that have been prepared by the team. The methods used included group discussions, case studies, simulations, and evaluation of results. The results of the activities showed that the partners experienced a significant improvement in their understanding and financial recording skills. Some partners have implemented daily transaction recording and are able to prepare financial reports independently. In addition, awareness of the importance of financial management for business sustainability also increased. Future recommendations include the need for further training, development of digital-based financial recording applications, and collaboration with financial institutions to access funding. This activity proves that with the right approach, micro-entrepreneurs can be encouraged to be more professional in managing their finances, thus increasing their competitiveness and business sustainability amidst dynamic economic challenges.

Abstract

Digital transformation is a crucial element in improving the quality of education and developing Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), especially in rural areas. However, limited internet network infrastructure is a major challenge that must be overcome. This research aims to identify problems and propose strategies for optimizing village internet networks to support the digitalization of the education sector and MSMEs. The method used was direct observation in Ketapanrame Village, Trawas District, Mojokerto Regency, as well as a literature study approach to network technology solutions. The results showed that although the availability of internet networks already exists, the quality and equity of access is still low. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the infrastructure through increasing bandwidth, placing strategic access points, and utilizing technologies such as wireless mesh networks (WMN). In addition, community empowerment through digital literacy training is also very important to ensure optimal utilization of the available infrastructure. The implementation of this strategy is expected to encourage the improvement of the quality of digital-based learning and expand the MSME market through online platforms. Optimizing village internet networks is not only about technical aspects, but also includes strengthening human resource capacity and local government policy support. Thus, the digitization of education and MSMEs can be an important pillar in the economic and social development of villages.
