Abstract

Background: Compliance of DM patients in implementing the DM diet is indirectly influenced by the results of knowing DM patients obtained from education, information sources and mass media. The success in DM treatment depends on DM sufferers, namely they must have sufficient knowledge, then be able to change their attitude in taking treatment with a low sugar diet, and prevent complications so that they can live a more prosperous, healthy and quality life. Objective: To increase the effectiveness of adherents of Diabetes Mellitus sufferers in carrying out diet and exercise therapy in the Work Area of Pundong Health Center. Method of Implementation: The method used is to view videos, exposure to diet and exercise therapy materials, and question and answer. Education is provided in the form of videos, materials and readings (leaflets). Results: Compliance with Diabetes Mellitus sufferers in implementing Diet and Sports Therapy greatly affects the state of sugar levels in the body of patients affected by DM. In carrying out these adherents, the patient must have monitoring from the family or from the health worker where the patient is treated. In this activity the results of the effectiveness of Diabetes Mellitus Patients' Compliance in carrying out Diet and Sports therapy can be seen in terms of Knowledge, Attitudes, and Social Support. Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan perekonomian mengalaami penurunan, namun saat ini pergerakan perekonomian mulai begerak. Pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil Dan Menengah (UMKM) yang memuat produk rumahan di wilayah Kota Yogyakarta mengikuti perkembangan situasi dan kondisi. Sebagian besar pelaku UMKM belum sadar dan memahami pentingnya merek untuk produ yang dibuat. Program pengabdian masyarakat, bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan kesadaran pentingnya merek untuk produk rumahan dalam rangka peningkatan daya saing di UMKM wilayah Kota Yogyakarta, diharapkan memberikan masukan dan tambahan pengetahuan di bidang manajemen pemasaran khususnya kesadaran merek dan brand image untuk UMKM di wilayah Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada hari Minggu, tanggal 22 Mei 2022, bertempat di Masjid Shirotul Jannah Papringan, Kelurahan Caturtunggal, Kecamatan Depok, Kabupaten Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan ini diharapkan peserta dapat memahami pentingnya merek untuk produk dan dapat menciptakan merek untuk meningkatkan daya saing.

Abstract

Garbage, which has always been a crucial problem in society, still has economic value when managed properly. The limited infrastructure owned by the government requires the community to independently play an active role in managing waste. Through a community service program entitled increasing entrepreneurship through waste management in Segoroyoso 1 Pleret Bantul Yogyakarta. This program is carried out on the grounds that there are still many people who know how to manage it properly. In addition, this program also fosters an entrepreneurial spirit in the community by utilizing waste as the main capital. From the reasons the authors formulate several issues: 1. How to properly manage waste in accordance with government recommendations?.2. How to make waste as a field of entrepreneurship that has a sale value? The methods used in community service are observation, interviews, lectures, practice and documentation. From the results of this service it was found that waste management in the Segoroyoso1 Pleret Bantul Yogyakarta community is good, but it still requires special handling, especially for home-based businesses or MSMEs that are medium to upper scale, because they have to be supported by waste management tools that are expensive. For waste management to become a business area, progress has been made even though it needs to be improved again

Abstract

A business will decide to carry out credit sales transactions with the aim of stimulating the interest of consumers / customers, increasing sales volume, winning the competition strategy and increasing market share as well as increasing the company's net profit. immediately paid off, there is also a risk of uncollectible receivables if they are not selective in selecting customers who are entitled to receive credit purchase facilities. Internally, it is necessary to record receivables properly and correctly so that the collection process and circulation of company funds embedded in receivables are smooth. Mitra Desa Indonesia is a laying hens business, still using manual recording, using notebooks, ballpoints and calculators. Cash and credit sales transactions are recorded in one book, cash sales are in the Debit column and credit sales are in the Credit column, an explanation of the receivables paid is in the Remaining column. Of course this is not a correct recording, transaction information is not conveyed in the financial statements or in the management of credit sales transactions which eventually become receivables. With observations for 4 (four) months, with an average transaction of 9.6 tons of eggs per month, of which 86.22% are credit sales, the author provides assistance in understanding the recording using the accrual basis, making cash flow and recording accounts receivable using a computer. simply (excel format). This is done by the author because with manual recording, there are many weaknesses, multiplication and wrong numbers. Making credit cards is very important because 86.22% of transactions are credit sales. Mitra Desa Indonesia should manage its receivables properly, supported by proper recording methods and credit cards as control of each customer's receivables.

Abstract

The purpose of community service carried out through counseling and assistance in handling complaints at PT Cipta Daya Gemilang Surabaya is to further improve the quality of marketing personnel in handling complaints at the company. The company here will be introduced to how to take steps in dealing with complaints that occur against the company. The method of implementing activities through four stages, namely preparation, counseling on complaint handling materials, monitoring and evaluation. The results of this activity show that there are still many step-by-step observations that must be addressed by this company to further improve the quality of salespeople in finding and maintaining existing customers.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Inggris mahasiswa khususnya TOEFL yang kegiatannya dilaksanakan di kampus Jurusan Keperawatan yang. Penguasaan Bahasa Inggris terutama English TOEFL memiliki peranan yang sangat penting karena sertifikat TOEFL bisa digunakan untuk melamar kerja maupun digunakan sebagai syarat untuk bisa diterima di perguruan tinggi negeri. Pelatihan TOEFL Bahasa Inggris ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan Bahasa Inggris TOEFL mahasiswa jurusan keperawatan. Metode Communicative Language Teaching in Secondary Level merupakan metode pengajaran yang digunakan dalam pelatihan Bahasa Inggris TOEFL. Pelatihan TOEFL Bahasa Inggris merupakan pelatihan yang diadakan berkat kerjasama antara Prodi Bahasa Inggris Universitas Bali Dwipa dan jurusan keperawatan. Pelatihan TOEFL ini dilaksanakan secara offline sebelum pandemi untuk mendapatkan hasil kegiatan pembelajaran yang optimal. Para peserta pelatihan Bahasa Inggris TOEFL ini nampak sangat antusias dan aktif untuk mengikuti pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris TOEFL yang meliputi listening, structure and written expression, reading. Peserta pengabmas diberikan beberapa topik pelatihan tentang tenses TOEFL meliputi listening, reading dan written and structure expression. Peserta pelatihan TOEFL Bahasa Inggris ini juga melakukan latihan–latihan soal TOEFL dengan yang didampingi oleh pengajar sehingga pengajar bisa memantau langsung terhadap proses perkembangan peserta didiknya.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The residents of the Salam RT 15 hamlet community in particular include residents of rural communities who are far from the district and provincial cities. Varied levels of education make people really need additional knowledge for insight in following current developments that are increasingly advanced with information technology. Microsoft Powerpoint is an application for presentations that is really needed by the residents of the Salam Rt 15 hamlet community in particular. The purpose of this activity is to increase people's knowledge and skills in using the Microsoft Powerpoint application The target of this activity is the management and residents of RT 15 in Padukuhan Salam, Gunungkidul. The method used is by conducting training and mentoring on the use of the Microsoft Powerpoint application. The result of this dedication is that there is an increase in knowledge and skills in using the Microsoft Powerpoint application, namely from the results of the pretest compared to the results of the posttest that were carried out showing that 7 people were declared good during the pretest, then after the posttest there were 15 people, 16 people were declared lacking during the pretest, so after the posttest they stayed to 11 people.

Abstract

The change in marketing behavior from conventional to digital is not balanced by the existence of business actors who use digital marketing, even though businesses are believed to be able to stimulate the Indonesian economy. The use of digital technology-based marketing concepts is a hope for businesses to develop into centers of economic power. Digital marketing promotional media is expected to be an effective choice for business actors in developing their business and reaching national and international markets. Conventional promotional media, which require a lot of money and are much more complicated, are no longer a main concern for business people because of digital marketing.

Abstract

The most cases of acting against corruption by law enforcement officers (APH) occurred in the village budget sector, namely 154 cases in 2021 with potential state losses of IDR 233 billion. To prevent criminal acts of corruption at the village level, the author provides community service by conducting anti-corruption outreach, especially in Jemaras village, Cempaga district, East Kotawaringin regency. The method used was Asset Based Communities Development (ABCD), by tracing the assets in Jemaras village, it was then discovered that Jemaras village was a candidate for anti-corruption village in the East Kotawaringin regency. The results of this service show that people who gain an understanding of the dangers of corruption and the importance of preventing it become concerned about the village they live in all this time. The target of the activities aimed at various groups, starting from village officials, the general public, and children, aims to ensure that all parties can participate in making Jemaras village an anti-corruption village in the East Kotawaringin regency.

Abstract

Zakat is an obligation for every Muslim because zakat is one of the pillars of Islam. The benefits of tithing include two dimensions, namely the spiritual dimension and the social dimension. A spiritual dimension is a form of obedience in carrying out religious orders, while the social dimension is the implementation of a caring attitude among fellow Muslims. Zakat is very useful to ease the economic burden of the poor. The distribution of zakat is not only to meet the needs of daily life but can also be distributed in the form of working capital assistance so that zakat funds can be productive. Management of zakat funds will be productive if it can be managed professionally. Therefore, to realize this goal, we, from the Department of Sharia banking, Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business, State Islamic University, Makassar, are moved to carry out community service activities that are packaged in the form of empowerment activities and business management assistance. The method used in community service activities with the theme of Empowerment of Productive Zakat as an effort to strengthen the economy of the community who are members of the Blessings group under the guidance of the Indonesian Zakat Initiative in Makassar. Stages of activity, first conducted observations to obtain initial information related to the condition of the target group. The next stage is to draw up a plan for empowerment and mentoring activities. Next, conduct education through lecture methods, discussions, and consultations related to business management. Speakers describe business management and market-building strategies. The next stage is to assist by conducting regular consultation visits every month. The results of these activities can help provide solutions to various problems in business management, both in terms of financial management and marketing aspects.
