International Journal of Emerging Research and Review (IJOERAR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal dedicated to promoting emerging research and review in multidiscipline areas. IJOERAR is published by IKIP Widya Darma Surabaya four times a year/quarterly (in March, June, September, & December). All manuscripts sent to IJOERAR will be read and reviewed with a confidential identity (double-blind peer review) by at least 2 peer reviewers who are experts in their fields. Depending on the evaluation reports of the members of the Editorial Board and peer reviewer, whether articles are published or not. The articles should be original, unpublished, and not in consideration for publication elsewhere at the time of submission to the IJOERAR.

Abstract

Objective: This research tends to visualize the trend research of PsPT CTS between 2001 and 2022. At the same time, no previous study has used bibliometrics to analyze the PsPT CTS in higher education. The main implication of this research are to find the novelty of the PsPT CTS research to increase their ability to teach physics critical thinking to students. Method: This research is a bibliometric analysis using Scopus as the primary metadata source. The document analyzed is a document between 2001 and 2022 or the last twenty years. Results: The trend of PsPT CTS tends to be interesting to future research, building upon the increase in the publication in PsPT CTS each year. The conference paper is the most used type of document in PsPT CTS due to its practice. It has a more visible impact since it is shown at a conference for many specialists from several disciplines to observe. The most widely used language in PsPT CTS publications is English due to it flexibility of readers around the world to have a good grip of the paper. For future research, it is still possible to develop or improve the obstacle PsT. Specifically, integrated STEM to enhance PsPT CTS due to its minimal keywords. Novelty: One of the 21st-century components is critical thinking, the trend of critical thinking research has become an exciting topic in the era of society 5.0. Therefore, to improve and develop the movements of critical thinking, especially in physics, an effort must be made.

Abstract

Objective this study is to analyze problem based learning models effect towards skills of problem solving in learning Physics. Problem based learning in physics learning can trigger students to participate in the teaching and learning process actively. It can motivate students to increase interest in scientific problems that occur and simultaneously stimulate skills in solving scientific problems. Method used in this study is meta-analysis, namely by conducting a literature review of 15 scientific articles that several national and international journals have published regarding problem based learning models impact on skills of problem solving published from 2018 to 2022. Results of this research are a problem based learning model that has a significant impact on improving problem solving skills in learning Physics. So, problem based learning model able to be implemented in learning Physics to enhance problem solving skills. Novelty of this research is a type of scientific article that is used not only published by national journals but also published by international journals published from 2018 to 2022

Abstract

Objective: The outbreak of COVID-19 has had a significant impact on Indonesia's economy as a whole. The implementation of social distancing measures and subsequent Large-Scale Social Restrictions (LSSR) have led to companies downsizing and employees working from home. This has had a negative effect on the output of these companies and has necessitated action by the government to accelerate the recovery of all economic sectors. This study provides an overview of the student paradigm of entrepreneurship with a focus on the key variables of entrepreneurship education components, facilities and infrastructure, and entrepreneurial intention. Additionally, the study aims to explore the influence of these variables on entrepreneurial intention and to provide recommendations from student problem. Method: This research employs a quantitative and objectives addressed using two data analysis techniques: descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. Results: The findings of this study indicate that entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial intention, as do facilities and infrastructure. Additionally, the study found that entrepreneurship education and facilities and infrastructure both have a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial intention. Novelty: The focus of this research involves master's degree students which are still little researched because most previous research has examined undergraduate students or the general public.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy directly and indirectly (through metacognition) on students' economic problem-solving. The sample in this study were X-grade students of Surabaya State High School 17 as many as 143 students. Method: Measurement of metacognitive ability includes metacognitive knowledge and metacognitive regulation. Measurement of students' economic problem-solving skills using economic material tests. Self-efficacy measurement includes magnitude, strength, and generality. Data collection using questionnaires and test questions. The data analysis technique used in this study was SEM-PLS analysis with the Warp-PLS approach. Results: The results of this study indicate that the effect of self-efficacy has a very significant effect on students' metacognitive abilities of 0.624 with p < 0.001. and the results of the analysis of the effect of metacognition on economic problem solving amounted to 0.336 and the indirect effect is from self-efficacy through metacognitive mediation and then to economic problem solving which is 0.209. then the total effect of the effect of self-efficacy on economic problem solving directly or indirectly was x 100% = 15,6%. Novelty: The use of variable Economic problem solving is a novelty found in the search process using the Vosviewer application.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the implementation of Cambridge curriculum in the field of Economic and to find out the implications for developing student’s character. Method: This research is conducted at Singapore Intercultural School (SIS) Semarang and carried out by interview, observation and documentation. The validity technique used is triangulation. Results: The results showed that the implementation of Cambridge Curriculum at SIS Semarang is very high in terms of the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages of learning, and has integrated character education through aspects of school input, process, and output. Novelty: This study combines educational character variables in the Cambridge International Curriculum and the Indonesian National Curriculum with research objects in international schools.
