Abstract

Pentingnya modul dikembangkan dalam proses pembelajaran karena modul dapat memfasilitasi mahasiswa dalam belajar mandiri maupun tatap muka. Tujuan kegiatan penelitian pengembangan ini ialah menghasilkan suatu produk berupa paket modul pembelajaran berbentuk cetak untuk mata kuliah Energi Alternatif yang layak dan efektif digunakan pada proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) yang berorientasi pada produk dengan mengikuti alur model pengembangan Rowntree. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Program Studi Pendidikan Vokasional Teknik Elektro, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar mahasiswa yang belajar dengan sumber belajar modul meningkat secara signifikan. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Energi Alternatif, diperlukan modul pembelajaran berbentuk cetak. Modul pembelajaran yang dikembangkan, berdasarkan hasil validasi dari ahli materi, ahli media, dosen pengampu, dan uji lapangan kepada mahasiswa dinyatakan baik dan layak dimplementasikan untuk pembelajaran. Modul pembelajaran Energi Alternatif ini direkomendasikan untuk digunakan pada proses pembelajaran mata kuliah.

Abstract

Pengembangan arm robot SAR (Stamp Automatic Robot) sebagai bahan ajar pendukung pembelajaran merupakan salah satu upaya dalam tanggap teknologi. Bahan ajar ini berupa training kit, LKS dan manual book. Tugas dari robot ini adalah memberikan stempel pada tempat yang sudah disediakan sesuai dengan masukkan warna yang ditentukan. Bahan ajar ini difungsikan sebagai pembantu pemahaman Mata Pelajaran Pengendali Sistem Robotik di SMK Negeri 1 Tambelangan. Penelitian ini didasari oleh kurangnya jenis sumber belajar sehingga kurang maksimalnya hasil belajar yang didapatkan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan dari bahan ajar. Untuk mencapai hal tersebut, peneliti menggunakan metode R&D (Research and Development) dengan perlakuan One Shot Case Study. Bahan ajar ini telah divalidasi oleh 2 dosen Teknik Elektro Universitas Negeri Surabaya dan 2 pendidik di SMK Negeri 1 Tambelangan. Hasil belajar dari 20 peserta didik yang diperoleh melalui tes kognitif dan tes psikomotor dibandingkan dengan KKM di SMK Negeri 1 Tambelangan yaitu sebesar 78. Hasil penelitian ini menyebutkan kevalidan training kit sebesar 95,8% serta LKS dan manual book sebesar 89,52%; tingkat kepraktisan bahan ajar sebesar 90% dan keefektifan bahan ajar melalui analisis data uji-t mendapat nilai sig. sebesar 0,041. Maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahan ajar valid, praktis dan efektif sehingga bahan ajar sangat layak digunakan.

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) adalah salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang berfokus mendidik siswa supaya memiliki tingkat keahlian yang dapat diakui di dalam dunia kerja/industri. Augmented Reality merupakan teknologi terkini dengan beberapa kelebihan yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Untuk mengungkap validitas dan efektivitas media pembelajaran berbasis AR di SMK. (2) Untuk mengungkap validitas dan efektivitas media pembelajaran berbasis AR pada kelompok mata pelajaran normatif, adaptif dan produktif di SMK. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik literatur review. Dari hasil penelitian studi literatur yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Media pembelajaran berbasis AR memiliki rata-rata validitas sebesar 87,18% dengan kategori sangat valid. Begitupun efektivitasnya dengan rata-rata sebesar 85,94% dengan kategori sangat efektif. 2) Media pembelajaran berbasis AR di SMK lebih valid untuk diterapkan pada kelompok mata pelajaran produktif dengan persentase 90,18%, kemudian normatif dengan persentase 88,29% dan terakhir adaptif dengan persentase 83,07%. Media pembelajaran berbasis AR di lebih efektif untuk diterapkan pada kelompok mata pelajaran mata normatif dengan persentase 88,16%, kemudian produktif dengan persentase 85,96% dan terakhir adaptif dengan persentase 83,69%. Indikator yang menentukan validitas media pembelajaran adalah kesesuaian media dengan kompetensi inti dan kompetensi dasar, kesesuaian media dengan tujuan pembelajaran, sesuai kebutuhan siswa dan kebermanfaatan. Indikator yang menentukan efektivitas media pembelajaran adalah hasil belajar siswa, aktivitas siswa, respon siswa dan pengelolaan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan sebagai berikut: (1) Menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif (MPK) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik Sekolah Menengan Kejuruan (SMK) kompetensi keahlian Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik. (2) Menganalisis informasi tinggi dan rendahnya nilai efektivitas hasil belajar dari berbagai tipe model pembelajaran kooperatif. (3) Menganalisis implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif secara langsung di SMK kompetensi keahlian Teknik Inst alasi Tenaga Listrik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah meta analisis unstandardized mean difference independent groups dengan mengambil 10 rujukan artikel penelitian MPK berbagai tipe yang berbeda untuk dianalisis dan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, maka ditemukan rata-rata effect size dari keseluruhan MPK termasuk kategori effect size besar. Selain itu dapat diketahui bahwa MPK tipe think pair share memiliki nilai effect size tertinggi dengan kategori effect size besar, serta terdapat juga nilai effect size terendah diperoleh MPK tipe team assisted individualized dengan kategori effect size besar. Dari hasil observasi lapangan, secara umum MPK bagus diterapkan kepada peserta didik SMK khususnya Tipe Team Assisted Individualization (MPK-TAI). Dari berbagai tipe model pembelajaran kooperatif yang telah dijelaskan, pemilihan MPK yang tepat dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik SMK. Dari penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa berbagai tipe MPK yang diterapkan di SMK memiliki nilai efektivitas yang besar terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kompetensi keahlian Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik.

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this study is to determine the profile of S1 Mechanical Engineering Education graduates and the competencies needed by graduate users. Additionally, it will be analyzed in terms of achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPI 1). Method: This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. This research uses an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The results of the questionnaire are then processed and analyzed in a qualitative descriptive manner. This data analysis technique involves data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Results: The results indicate that the required competencies encompass both soft skills and hard skills. Those who need to strengthen their graduate competencies to suit the needs of the world of work require soft skills, with the results achieving KPI 1 at 63.93%. Novelty: This study examines in depth the condition of graduates in the workforce, focusing on job suitability, soft skills, and specialized hard skills within the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program. Analyzing soft skills and hard skills that need to be improved and maintained in curriculum development in the Mechanical Engineering education study program adjusted to the current technological developments.

Abstract

Objective: This research investigates how applying the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) approach affects students’ cognitive performance in the subject of product creation using knitting techniques in Grade XI Fashion Design at VHS 8 Surabaya. Method: This The study utilized the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, conducted across three cycles that included the stages of planning, execution, observation, and reflection. Data collection was carried out through observational methods and performance-based assessments. The data were then analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods to evaluate the effectiveness of the learning implementation and the enhancement of students’ psychomotor skills. Results: The findings indicated that the application of the PjBL model was rated as “Good,” covering both student and teacher activities in collaboratively designing, conducting, and evaluating the project. Students’ psychomotor learning outcomes significantly improved, with average scores increasing from 77.5 in Cycle I to 87.5 in Cycle III. The student passing rate also rose markedly, from 15.6% to 87.5%. Novelty: What sets this research apart is its contextual emphasis on knitting techniques in the fashion domain, highlighting psychomotor skills—an element that has frequently been neglected in earlier studies. Moreover, this study reinforces the relevance of the PjBL model in supporting the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes the strengthening of technical skills, student independence, and creativity in vocational education.

Abstract

Objective:  This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of the Dhysning (Dynamic Hybrid System for Integrating Glocal Wisdom) application, which integrates the local wisdom of the Boranan Lamongan Dance into physics learning, specifically on the topic of rigid body equilibrium. Method: The development of the Dhysning application followed the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, and Development). The application was designed using Adobe Flash CS6 and included teaching modules, interactive multimedia, student worksheets, virtual laboratory simulations, and quizzes. The research was conducted through a limited trial involving three classes and three physics teachers at senior high school. Data were collected through response questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics and Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) to examine the construct validity and reliability of student responses. Results: The results show that the application effectively supports science learning with strong student engagement. The Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) measure of 0.638 and Bartlett's test of significance (p < 0.001) confirmed the suitability of the data for factor analysis. Eight factors were extracted, explaining 78.63% of the total variance, with an overall Cronbach's Alpha of 0.884, indicating high internal consistency. Students showed positive responses toward the contextual content, visual interactivity, and cultural relevance of the learning media. Novelty: This study introduces a glocalized science learning approach by incorporating regional cultural elements into physics education through interactive technology. It bridges local cultural identity with global scientific competencies, fostering deeper student engagement and scientific literacy in a unique and meaningful way.

Abstract

Today’s industry requires graduates of mechanical engineering expertise programs who have high creativity. The purpose of this study is to describe how the influence of spatial intelligence, adversity intelligence, on the creativity of vocational students of the mechanical engineering expertise program. The urgency of this research is as a basis for consideration of talent interest search, selection of student admissions in vocational schools, which has been general. This research is a type of ex post facto involved 206 students of the mechanical engineering expertise program in Surabaya city in Indonesia. The data collection techniques used are tests and questionnaires. Data analysis using structural equation modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS application. The results of the analysis showed that: i) spatial intelligence and adversity intelligence had a positive and significant effect on student creativity with scores of 7.3% and 87.5%, respectively and ii) simultaneously spatial intelligence and adversity intelligence contributed to increasing student creativity by 81.4%. Implications this study can help in the development of a selection system for new student admissions tailored to the needs of mechanical engineering expertise programs. In addition to the development of a more diverse curriculum to integrate learning approaches that allow students with various types of intelligence to develop optimally.

Abstract

Project Based Learning (PBL) is a student-oriented learning approach based on activities or projects. This study aims to describe the PBL learning model for students in vocational education courses for children with intellectual disabilities. This research focuses on vocational learning for students with modality-based intellectual disabilities; syntax implementation in the PBL model and lesson plans. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that through PBL learning there was an increase in student competence in the following aspects: 1) Understanding of the concept of the PBL learning model; 2) the ability to analyze Competencies, especially the mapping of competency units from the Special Competency Standards for Persons with Disabilities in accordance with aspects of knowledge and skills in Competencies; 3) competency in compiling task analysis; 4) competence in understanding the modalities of students with intellectual disabilities. Therefore, the PBL learning model strategy needs to be continuously implemented to form good competence for students as prospective special education teachers.
