International Journal of Emerging Research and Review (IJOERAR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal dedicated to promoting emerging research and review in multidiscipline areas. IJOERAR is published by IKIP Widya Darma Surabaya four times a year/quarterly (in March, June, September, & December). All manuscripts sent to IJOERAR will be read and reviewed with a confidential identity (double-blind peer review) by at least 2 peer reviewers who are experts in their fields. Depending on the evaluation reports of the members of the Editorial Board and peer reviewer, whether articles are published or not. Abstract

Objectives: This research reviews the literature on using word card media to improve the writing skills of grade 2 elementary school students. Method: The research method is a literature review of articles and journals on Google Scholar between 2014 - 2023, totalling 10 articles discussing writing skills and 8 articles about word card media. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive methods. Results: The focus of the research is the effectiveness of using word card media in improving students' writing skills. Studies show that word card media has advantages in terms of ease of use and is effective in attracting students' learning habits so that students' ability and creativity in writing increases. Novelty: The novelty of this research is that the literature review used comes from Google Scholar, so the results of the review can provide information on the level of success in using word card media to improve students' writing skills. This research focuses on how effective word card media is in improving the writing skills of grade 2 elementary school students.

Abstract

Objective: Women undergo various physiological and psychological changes during the reproductive stage, particularly during the menstrual cycle. Premenstrual symptoms, or dysmenorrhea, are the terms used to describe this. Menstrual pain is another term for dysmenorrhea, and primary dysmenorrhea often starts six months following menarche. Premenstrual symptoms are a complicated collection of symptoms that hurt a student's quality of life in the long run and their ability to succeed in school, participate in social activities, and maintain family relationships. Problems with both physical and mental health can benefit from yoga. Method: This study aims to assess the effectiveness of yoga activities in relieving pain in primary dysmenorrhea and premenstrual syndrome. In this investigation, a review of the literature was used. Six journal databases were searched for articles. Seven articles satisfied the requirements for inclusion. Result: The review's findings indicate that yoga practice is a viable substitute and is suggested as a simple, accessible, and non-invasive strategy for analgesia in primary dysmenorrhea and premenstrual syndrome. Novelty: This study shows the effectiveness of yoga exercises in reducing pain in primary dysmenorrhea and premenstrual syndrome for adolescents, especially women.

Abstract

Objective: Workers often ignore the various aspects that can affect their work, health, and comfort caused by physical and mental fatigue. Hospital nurse fatigue is associated with lower nurse satisfaction, higher turnover, and poor patient outcomes. Fatigue is a common problem for nurses, with 82% of nurses experiencing mild to severe physical fatigue. There are many ways to combat fatigue symptoms and speed recovery after exercise, including massage techniques. It is believed that sports massage supplies oxygen to the muscles. As it circulates in the blood, lactic acid is converted to pyruvic acid, generating ATP, and activating muscle metabolism. This study aims to identify appropriate sports massage therapy to treat caregiver fatigue issues. Method: A literature review was used in this study. Article searches were performed in his six journal databases: PubMed, JSTOR, Taylor, Willey Online, Sage, and Google Scholar. Eight articles that met the inclusion criteria were found. Result: The results of this review indicate that sports massage techniques can be used as an alternative to reduce caregiver fatigue when providing community health services. Novelty: This study shows the effectiveness of sports massage therapy in overcoming and treating caregiver fatigue issues.

Abstract

Objectives: The ladder drill training method to increase agility and speed (speed run) has not been combined in much research. This research tries to combine them in order to improve the quality of professional futsal athletes. Method:  The research approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. This type of research uses a quasi experiment or quasi experiment. This research design uses a matching only design research design . This research variable consists of 1 independent variable (circuit training ladder drill) and 2 dependent variables ( agility and speed ). The population is 100 professional futsal athletes in Madiun City, and the sample is 30 people. This research is only specifically for male samples aged between 18-20 years. The sample was divided into 2 groups, namely the ladder drill circuit training experimental group and the control group. The research instrument used a hexagonal obstacle test and a 30 meter acceleration test. Data collection techniques were carried out first by carrying out normality tests and homogeneity tests. Data analysis techniques were carried out using the formula mean , standard deviation , variance , percentage increase, paired sample t test , one way anova test , and post hoc comparison. Results: There was a difference in agility before and after giving the mixed method training circuit training ladder drill. The difference in agility is shown from the results of parametric statistical analysis using a paired sample t test with the significance value in the sig column showing sig 0.000 < α 0.05. Novelty: The novelty in this research is combining the ladder drill training method to increase agility and speed run aimed at professional futsal athletes.

Abstract

Objectives: The circuit training plyometric and 2 variable bound (power and strength) methods have not been combined much in research. This research tries to combine them to improve the quality of professional futsal athletes. Method: This research design uses research design matching only design. This type of research uses quasi experiments. The population in this research are professional futsal athletes in Madiun City, numbering 100 people. Meanwhile, the sample used is totalling 30 people. This research is limited only to manifold samples_sex the man who has an age between 18 and 20 years. Samples are divided into 2 groups, namely group experiment plyometric and group circuit training control. The variables of this research consist of from 1 variable free (circuit training plyometric) and 2 variables bound (power and strength). The instrument test in this research used a vertical jump test and leg dynamometer. Data collection techniques were carried out first in a way carry out normality tests and homogeneity tests. Data analysis techniques were carried out using formula mean, standard deviation, variance, percentage increase, paired sample t-test, one-way test anova, and post hoc comparison. Results: There is a difference in power before and after giving combined method training circuit training plyometric. So you can conclude that This combined method of circuit training plyometric is a method of proper exercise_ used to improve ability motor power. Then, for variable strength, it concluded that There is a difference in strength before and after giving combined method training circuit training plyometric. So you can conclude that This combined method of circuit training plyometric is a method of proper exercise to improve ability motor strength. Novelty: The novelty in this research is combining the circuit training plyometric and 2 variable bounds (power and strength).

Abstract

Objectives: The Indonesian film world has experienced a decline in recent years due to the pandemic, apart from that technological innovation has given rise to practical ways of showing films that can be accessed anytime and anywhere. Although technological updates have not reduced the interest of offline viewers at XXI Cinema. The aim of this research is to influence consumers' lifestyles or experiences in watching cinema at XXI to increase students' interest in watching. Method:  The method used in this research is qualitative research to see the influence of customer experience and lifestyle on the decision to watch the XXI cinema among Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa) students. Results: There is an influence from variables or lifestyle aspects that Surabaya State University students have on the decision to watch a film at the XXI Cinema Building. The second variable has no effect on purchasing decisions. In fact, lifestyle variables influence the decision to purchase cinema tickets at Building XXI. However, when put together, it has no effect because there is influence from other variables. There are several items in the customer experience that have no effect on purchasing decisions and the influence of lifestyle variables is very large. From the attached data, the decision to purchase cinema tickets at XXI will be purchased taking into account promotions, events, lifestyle and cinema facilities. Novelty: The novelty of this research focuses on the research sample, namely Unesa students who belong to generation Z and also students who have the ability to buy cinema tickets for the upper middle class XXI.
