Abstract

Abstract The purpose of the research is to analyze the influence of PDRB ADHK per capita, beef prices, and population on beef consumption on Java Island in 2018-2022 and analyze the factors that most influence beef consumption on Java Island in 2018-2022. This research uses a quantitative approach method with data collection in the form of secondary data obtained from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) and Sistem Informasi Pasar Online Nasional-Ternak (SIMPONI-Ternak). In the regression results, PDRB ADHK per capita has a significant effect, beef prices have an insignificant effect, and population has a significant effect on beef consumption on Java Island in 2018-2022. The factor that most influences beef consumption on the island of Java in 2018-2022 is population. Based on the results of the classical assumption test, it shows that the Common Effect Model is the most suitable model in this research. Of the 3 factors used, there are 2 factors that have a significant influence, namely GRDP ADHK per capita and population and 1 factor that has an insignificant influence, namely the price of beef.

Abstract

Development in Indonesia aims to create a just, prosperous, and independent society, with the government adopting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to ensure equitable national development. This research uses a quantitative method. The findings on the success of the Sustainable Development Goals Without Poverty in East Nusa Tenggara conclude that mobile phones play an important role in reducing poverty by providing access to new opportunities. Smoking does not significantly affect poverty; however, increasing the gross enrollment rate has proven effective in reducing poverty. Income levels also play a significant role. Therefore, coordinated efforts are needed to address poverty by focusing on these factors

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel jumlah unit hotel, jumlah unit restoran, jumlah wisatawan mancanegara dan jumlah wisatawan nusantara terhadap pengangguran terbuka di Provinsi Jawa Timur 2015-2022. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi data panel, dari hasil pengujian yang diperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi untuk model fixed effect sebesar 0,5901. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan variabel bebas dalam menjelaskan variabel dependen sebesar 59,01%. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa secara serentak jumlah unit hotel, jumlah unit restoran, jumlah wisatawan mancanegara dan jumlah wisatawan nusantara berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengangguran terbuka di Provinsi DIY, dengan hasil uji F statistik / prob (F-statistic) yaitu sebesar 0,0000. Sedangkan hasil uji t-statistik menunjukkan bahwa variabel jumlah unit hotel dan jumlah unit restoran berpengaruh positif dan signifikan, sedangkan, jumlah wisatawan mancanegara dan jumlah wisatawan nusantara berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap pengangguran terbuka di Provinsi Jawa Timur.

Abstract

Alkopini is a small and medium enterprise engaged in the manufacture of hommade sandals with synthetic leather as the basic material. The purpose of this service is to help expand the market and increase the selling value in the market by introducing the brand more widely to the community in the Pasuruan Regency area. In this service method using SWOT analysis. The results of the service show an increase in the production of the Alkopini praduk from 15 pairs of sandals a day to 20 to 25 pairs of sandals a day. Through this community service, the service team helps expand the Alkopini sandal market by using brands and packaging with the aim of attracting more consumers and using the sandal products produced and increasing the selling value of each product produced.

Abstract

Sukarara Village is known as a center for songket crafts in Central Lombok, with around 70% of its population working as songket craftsmen. The existence of weaving crafts in Sukarara Village has a high socio-economic impact, one of which is increasing income. There are many important factors that influence income, namely the level of length of work, the amount of production, and the price of production. The research location is the Songket Woven Fabric craft center in Sukarara Village in Jonggat District, Central Lombok Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach. The sample used was 44 songket craftsmen in Sukarara Village whose population was songket weavers. The results of this research are that production prices have the most significant influence at 87%, production quantities also have a significant influence on income at 48.2%. Length of work does not have a significant influence at 2.9%. Further research can be carried out to explore other factors that might influence the income of Songket craftsmen in Sukarara Village, Central Lombok. This is important to obtain a more comprehensive picture of the dynamics of the songket craft industry and the efforts that can be made to develop this industry in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This outreach program aims to raise awareness among the community, particularly PKK mothers, about the importance of creating smoke-free household areas to support family health and economic well-being. Smoke-free households are expected to reduce the harmful effects of smoking on family members’ health, especially children, and decrease household spending on tobacco products and healthcare costs. From an economic perspective, reducing tobacco consumption can improve household resource allocation for more productive needs and enhance the overall quality of family life. The method employed in this program is participatory, combining lectures, group discussions, and simple simulations on the economic impact of tobacco expenses. The sessions are conducted through a series of in-person meetings with PKK mothers. Each session includes presentations on the dangers of smoking, the economic consequences of smoking habits, and practical strategies for creating smoke-free household areas. The results of the program indicate an increased awareness among PKK mothers about the importance of smoke-free household areas and a deeper understanding of the economic implications of smoking in households. Additionally, there is a noticeable shift in household budget management, with a reduction in spending on tobacco products and a reallocation toward needs that better support the family’s health and well-being.

Abstract

Batik Jembatan Akar is one of the MSMEs located in West Sumatra and is known for its batik products, which display unique motifs typical of Minangkabau culture. This community service activity aims to improve production quality by applying technology, broadening the insights and skills of partners in batik using natural dyes, and strengthening marketing strategies through growth hacking innovation by utilizing digital marketing, sustainable and environmentally friendly packaging. The methods used in this activity are socialization, application of technology, and mentoring and evaluation. The results of this activity show an increase in batik production every month from 10 pieces to 30 batik cloths and the products produced have consistent quality. In terms of marketing, the viewer reach has reached 436 views in each post. Through this community service, the team helps partners expand market share by producing good product standards and using environmentally friendly packaging and marketing through Instagram Ads to reach consumers according to the market share of Jembatan Akar batik.

Abstract

The community service conducted a study on data management in Bulukerto, Tlekung, and Gunungsari Villages in Batu City. Local potential, especially in the agricultural sector, has not been optimally utilized due to fragmented and unintegrated data systems. The main problems include the lack of data by name by address, limited access to digital services, and weak documentation of superior potential such as apples, oranges, and cut flowers. The method used involves the development of a digital-based data integration system, with stages of identifying data needs, collecting and processing data, and training village officials. This program also includes statistical training and coaching to improve the capacity of village officials in analyzing and presenting data. The results show significant improvements in village data management. The integration system allows the preparation of a Village Investment Feasibility Index that includes dimensions of business finance, economy, investment climate, and infrastructure. This index is based on indicators such as financial literacy, access to digital services, and local consumption potential. The benefits achieved include strengthening the capacity of village officials, providing comprehensive individual-based data, and more strategic village development planning. This feasibility index is expected to be an effective guide for villages in attracting investment based on local potential and improving community welfare.

Abstract

This community service program aims to increase the added value of corn production by developing a corn morning business in Banjarbaru City. This program is motivated by the high production of corn, which reaches 29 tons per year, but its economic value has not been optimized. Through a comprehensive training and mentoring approach,the program involves 15 corn farmers as participants, focusing on four main aspects: production techniques, packaging according to PIRT, marketing strategies, and business management. The program's implementation lasts four days in October 2024, by presenting a combination of resource persons from successful MSME practitioners and academics. The methods used include lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on practice. The program results show participants have acquired basic knowledge and skills in corn marning processing, digital marketing, simple bookkeeping, business planning, and inventory management. This program is expected to encourage the growth of home-scale corn marning processing businesses that can increase the income of corn farmers in Banjarbaru.
