Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membuat desain user interface dan user experience (UI/UX) pada aplikasi Human Rights Notification menggunakan metode design thinking serta mengevaluasi desain UI/UX aplikasi tersebut guna memastikan aplikasi tersebut dapat digunakan dengan mudah dan efektif serta memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah design thinking meliputi lima tahap yaitu, empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan testing. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan interview (wawancara), angket, dan studi pustaka. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS), mendapatkan skor rata-rata yaitu 81. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem atau produk yang diuji memiliki tingkat ketergunaan yang dapat diterima/acceptable, berada pada kelas B dari skala penilaian, dan mendapat penilaian sangat baik. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan sistem atau produk yang diuji menunjukkan kualitas yang tinggi dalam hal penggunaan dan kegunaannya.

Abstract

The Bugis and Makassar ethnic groups are among those originating from South Sulawesi, characterized by the use of the Lontara Bugis and Makassar scripts. The data utilized in this research consists of image data as the initial input. Subsequently, preprocessing is conducted where the data is cropped to obtain 168x168 pixel dimensions for each word. The cropped images are then labeled. In this study, labeling involves the conversion of Lontara script into Latin words. The same procedure is applied to each letter. Next, the obtained words are categorized into two classes: Bugis language and Makassar language. The next stage is processing, where the Viterbi algorithm is employed to determine the priority within a sentence used in the training and testing processes. Python programming language is used in this research. The research utilizes image data processed in the aforementioned preprocessing stage. The data transformed from Lontara script into Latin words is used in the Viterbi process. The Viterbi algorithm tests the data from the inputted sentences. Based on the research results, it is concluded that the use of the Viterbi algorithm in classifying Bugis Makassar Lontara texts yields accurate probability results. However, there are some aspects to be considered. The more data utilized, the better the classification results will be.

Abstract

Hospital website accessibility is still a problem that is often faced by users with disabilities, especially the blind who have special needs related to vision (visual). The main obstacle for users with visual disabilities is the complex information architecture so that the use of the features available on the hospital's website has not been fully enjoyed. Likewise, the information presented by the hospital website interface cannot be conveyed to users with visual disabilities. This is because there are still many interface designs (UI/UX) for hospital websites that are not based on the needs of users with disabilities. This study aims to see the effect of implementing Garret's Element on hospital websites for users with visual disabilities by applying Garret's UX Element method to design hospital website interfaces through 5 stages, namely Strategy Plane, Scope Plane, Structure Plane, Skeleton Plane and Surface Plane. Measurements were taken by observation and the results obtained were that users stated that designing the UIUX of a hospital website by applying Garret's UX Elements required less time to obtain information than websites that did not apply this method.

Abstract

This article aims to detect visitors using the optical flow method approach. It is based on transaction activities that are not freed from human life especially on the basic needs of making the spending trend in physical stores has begun to be crushed by the competition of online stores. Several factors are the inability of stores employees in serving the buyer up to the process of non-instant payment makes the physical store threatened that can imply on physical assets such as display cabinets, cash machines, to buildings. Based on the problem, the research was carried out by creating a system that can detect the activity of visitors on the store. The research was done by processing three video inputs in different cases. With the application of pre-processing processes and the implementation of optical flow methods, results were obtained that the system was able to detect the movement of visitors well.

Abstract

In the ever-growing digital era, smart residential properties based on the Internet of Things (IoT) have become a major highlight in the development of the property industry. Kalla Smart Living Application Development is one of the leading solutions to increase efficiency, security and comfort in the context of smart housing. The research methodology used includes a comprehensive series of stages. First, research begins with designing this application which will be implemented within the existing Kalla Smart Living framework. This involves identifying user needs, selecting appropriate features, as well as planning an intuitive user interface. The testing process is a key step in this research. Functional testing ensures that the application meets specifications and functions properly. The test and analysis results are used to evaluate the impact of developing the Kalla Smart Living application on residents' comfort in using this application. So the final results of this research provide valuable insight into the contribution of this application in supporting smart residential property businesses. The resulting recommendations can be used by property developers and other stakeholders to continue implementing and maintaining this application. From the blackbox testing results, it was found that the gas sensor, fire sensor and air quality sensor can be connected well with the Kalla Smart Living application.

Abstract

Diseases in tea leaves are one of the causes of a decline in the quality and quantity of tea production, appropriate techniques and treatments are needed to detect diseases that can attack tea leaves. This research aims to use the best techniques to help tea farmers detect tea leaf plant diseases early. This research uses Artificial Intelligence-based techniques that apply Machine Learning algorithms to detect diseases in tea leaves. One of the challenges in implementing Machine Learning algorithms is the difficulty of finding parameters that can maximize algorithm performance. In this research, the machine learning algorithms used are Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Gradient Boosting with parameter optimization using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) to find the best parameters. There are 5867 images of tea leaves consisting of five types of diseases, namely Algal Spot, Brown Light, Gray Blight, Helopeltis, Red Spot, and healthy leaves used in this research. The research results show that the machine learning algorithm’s performance experienced an increase in accuracy of around 2-4% after being optimized using PSO. The accuracy obtained with the standard SVM was 87%, after optimization, it increased to 91.68%. Meanwhile, the standard Gradient Boosting obtained an accuracy of 89%, and after optimization with PSO, the accuracy increased to 91%. This research is expected to minimize the work of experts and help detect diseases on tea leaves quickly.

Abstract

Technological developments have various impacts on society, both positive and negative. With the increasingly rapid growth of e-commerce and the variety of applications and sites available, the number of online transactions is also increasing. But on the other hand, the level of crime that occurs on the Internet is also increasing. Online fraud is increasingly occurring with various types and media used. This research aims to find ways to improve security so that public interest in online transactions can increase. Apart from efforts by business people and legal and government officials, the level of public awareness also needs to be increased. The research method was carried out using literature methods, observation and direct involvement with the activities of online fraudsters, surveys of respondents from various demographics, conducting interviews and simulating fraud on several respondents. The research results show varying levels of awareness, but there are still those who are deceived. The researcher proposes several solutions at the end of the article.

Abstract

In this study, we evaluated the performance of two classification models, namely Random Forest and XGBoost, on a multi-class classification task. The evaluation results showed that both produced excellent accuracy, with XGBoost achieving an accuracy of 1.00 and Random Forest around 0.99. However, Random Forest requires special attention to improve recall in some classes. These results provide important insights in the selection of classification models that fit the needs of the task. In the context of multi-class classification tasks, model performance is highly relevant and needs to be carefully calculated.

Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) has emerged as a transformative force in various industries, and its application in the field of electronics education has the potential to revolutionize practical learning experiences. This research explores the important role of IoT microcontrollers in the vocational education sector, particularly in electronics, to enhance hands-on learning during practical sessions. This research investigates the integration of IoT microcontrollers into the curriculum of electronics vocational education programs, aiming to assess their impact on student engagement, skill development, and overall learning outcomes. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, this study evaluates the effectiveness of incorporating IoT microcontrollers in practical exercises, comparing traditional methods with IoT-enhanced approaches. The findings of this study contribute valuable insights in the optimization of practical learning experiences in electronics vocational education.

Abstract

Energi listrik ialah energi yang kompleks diubah bentuk ke energi yang lain. Energi listrik sangat dibutuhkan oleh manusia untuk membantu pekerjaannya. Energi listrik ini dapat dihasilkan dari konversi energi panas. Energi Panas ini dihasilkan dari plat permukaan cerobong mesin pengering rak telur. Energi panas tersebut diubah menjadi energi listrik dengan menggunakan konsep efek seebeck. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui karakter dari modul TEG sebagai sumber energi listrik dalam memanfaatkan panas pada dinding cerobong suatu mesin pengering rak telur yang menggunakan sekam padi sebagai bahan bakar tungku mesin. Pengujian dilakukan dengan cara memanfaatkan panas cerobong bawah yang terpisah oleh sebuah Heat Excanger (HE) dengan kecepatan blower tungku pembakaran 2600 rpm dan kecepatan blower lingkungan 2800 rpm dengan jumlh termoelektrik yang digunakan sebanyak 36 buah. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa modul TEG pada cerobong bawah diperoleh perbedaan temperatur (∆T), perbedaan tegangan (∆V) dan daya (P) masing-masing ∆T 73.25 °C ; ∆V 12.26 Volt ; P 1.312 Watt.
