Abstract

Chili is one of the horticultural commodities that has a very significant economic and cultural value in Indonesia. One type of chili that is unique but widely cultivated in Indonesia is katokkon chili (Toraja chili). Seeing the great potential that katokkon chili has, the chili is finally widely cultivated. However, various problems in the cultivation process until harvest have emerged. One of them is in the process of identifying the level of maturity. The stage of identifying the maturity level of chilies is an important aspect of cultivation and post-harvest handling. This is because the maturity level significantly affects the quality, nutritional content, and market value of chili katokkon. Many studies have utilized digital image processing and machine learning in fruit ripeness detection. However, until now, the detection of the maturity level of katokkon chili fruit is still done manually, which has an impact on the potential inaccuracy of classification results due to various factors. Therefore, this research proposes a classification system for the maturity level of katokkon chili fruit based on LAB color features using artificial neural network backpropagation. The proposed method consists of six main stages, namely image acquisition, preprocessing, segmentation, morphological operations, LAB feature extraction, and backpropagation artificial neural network modeling. The proposed method can classify the maturity level of chili katokkon into three classes with 96,00% accuracy, 96,40 % precision, and 96,00% recall. These results show that the proposed method can classify the maturity level of chili katokkon accurately.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan rancangan antena untuk menunjang kualitas transmisi data dari segi jarak. Antena ini dipasang pada modul LoRa SX1262 yaitu modul telemetri yang diimplementasikan pada smart PDAM. Modul ini bekerja pada frekuensi 868 Mhz ~ 915 Mhz Rancangan antena dibagi menjadi dua model yaitu omnidirectional (ground plane) dan directional (yagi) dengan fungsi dan karakteristik masing-masing. Antena omnidirectional berperan sebagai antena penerima dan directional sebagai antena pengirim. Antena ini didesain untuk bekerja pada frekuensi 868 Mhz. Proses pengiriman data dilakukan pada frekuensi tersebut yang bekerja pada bandwidth 500 kHz yaitu bandwidth maksimal dari modul LoRa SX1262. Pengujian dilakukan untuk membandingkan jarak dari antena default mode LoRa dan antena yang buatan tersebut. Pengujian yang dilakukan di lokasi dengan kondisi LOS dan NLOS. Pengumpulan Data menggunakan teknik observasi dan dokumentasi untuk mendapatkan data yang valid dari hasil pengujian. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu jarak pengiriman dari antena default adalah 350 m sedangkan antena yang dibuat dapat menempuh hingga 600 meter dalam kondisi LOS (Light Of Sight). Jarak 80 m untuk antena default dan 300 m untuk antena eksternal dalam kondisi NLOS.

Abstract

Pengenalan ekspresi wajah telah dilakukan beberapa peneliti dan menjadi topik yang penting untuk dikaji. Dalam penelitian tersebut metode, data dan parameter wajah yang digunakan berbeda sehingga hasil ekspresi wajah beserta akurasi dari hasil penelitian juga berbeda. Permasalahan yang terjadi tingkat akurasi yang belum maksimal yang dapat mengakibatkan kurang optimalnya kinerja dari sistem pengenalan ekspresi wajah serta dibutuhkannya model algoritma terbaik untuk memperbaiki hasil akurasi. Mengingat Deal Coffee sebagai salah satu bidang usaha yang harus mengetahui tingkat kepuasan pengunjung untuk meningkatkan strategi penjualan. Salah satu peran komputasi cerdas adalah untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut menggunakan CNN yang dapat mengidentifikasi fitur penting pada wajah manusia dan menghasilkan representasi yang akurat dari wajah. Tujuan Penelitian yaitu untuk meningkatkan akurasi dari pengenalan ekspresi wajah pengunjung melalui perbaikan nilai akurasi menggunakan CNN sehingga dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas Deal Coffee dalam melakukan promosi dan strategi pemasaran. Manfaat Penelitian diharapkan memberikan konstribusi dalam pengembangan IPTEK khususnya dalam pengenalan ekspresi wajah dengan tingkat akurasi yang lebih baik dan akurat. Rencana Kegiatan penelitian diawali dengan pengambilan sampel data gambar yang bersumber dari CCTV. Tahap Kedua, dilakukan preprocessing dan dilatih menggunakan model CNN. Selanjutnya adalah melakukan klasifikasi. Hasil klasifikasi tersebut akan dihitung tingkat akurasinya.

Abstract

MoneyMind is a web-based financial management platform designed to assist individuals in managing and saving money effectively. This research aims to develop and test the MoneyMind system using research methods of data collection, system analysis, system development, and system testing. The data is analyzed to identify user needs, challenges faced in financial management, as well as features and functions expected from MoneyMind. Based on the results of the analysis, the MoneyMind system was developed using a web-based software development approach. Programming and web design are used to create intuitive and functional user interfaces. After development, the MoneyMind system was tested using the black box system testing method. Testing is done to ensure that all features work properly, user data can be stored securely, and the user interface works smoothly. The test results show that MoneyMind can provide an effective solution in managing personal finances and help users save money. The intuitive user interface and features allow users to track their income and expenses, set budgets, monitor financial goals, and analyze spending patterns with ease. This research shows that MoneyMind as a web-based financial management platform can provide significant benefits to individuals in managing and saving money.

Abstract

Technological advancement, today's technical sophistication makes everything easier. The internet is a component of today's technological sophistication. The purpose of this research is to develop a digital magazine system that will facilitate information assistance and the ability to provide information directly through the digital magazine website and play a role in increasing student reading and digital literacy. The development method used in this DMICS design is the agile method. The population used in this study were 48 students and lecturers in Makassar. Data obtained by data collection techniques in the form of literature study and online questionnaire distribution. The designed system is tested using Blackbox Testing to test the function of its features. The results of the study can be concluded that the Digital Mading Information & Communication System (DMICS) can be used as an information container for users. This is indicated from the results of the analysis of each construct has an average value of a good category where each construct of Behavioural Intention to Use (BI), Perceived Enjoyment (PE), Information Quality (IQ), Perceived Usefulness (PU), and System Quality (SQ) obtained a value range of 3.17-3.25. This shows that there is a relationship or influence from the dependent variable, namely, Behavioural intention to use (X1), Perceived enjoyment (X2), Information quality (X3), Perceived usefulness (X4), and System quality (X5) on the independent variable construct, namely actual usage behaviour (Y). Thus, the design of a digital mading information system or Digital Mading Information & Communication System (DMICS) is proven to be good for potential users as a forum for increasing digital literacy.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the data security system at Graha Pena Makassar. Graha Pena Makassar is also called Fajar Building which was built in 2007. Graha Pena Makassar is an office building that is the main choice for investors for business development. This research was conducted by identifying potential security gaps and existing security infrastructure. This research method is observation, literature study and conducting interviews. The results showed that the data security system implemented by Graha Pena Makassar has not implemented technology or special applications for database security systems. The security system implemented is more on a physical security system.

Abstract

This study focuses on the analysis of the aroma quality of tofu preserved with formalin, with the goal of developing a predictive model based on its chemical composition. Utilizing a dataset that includes various chemical components such as Hydrogen, LPG, CO, Alcohol, Propane, Methane, Smoke, and temperature, this research applies a Decision Tree model. The model is validated using 5-fold cross-validation, resulting in an accuracy of 36.79%, precision of 50.82%, recall of 36.79%, and an F1-Score of 27.58%. These results indicate the model's limitations in consistent prediction, suggesting potential improvements through other methods or the addition of variables. This study provides new insights into the relationship between chemical composition and aroma quality of formalin tofu, and opens new avenues for further research in this field.

The laundry application is a mobile application that acts as a service provider resource to its customers. This application is a mobile application and therefore it was developed to facilitate the handling of user problems that are often faced by system administrators, such as: facilitating administrative processes via a smartphone without using a computer because we know that computers are relatively very expensive and consume a lot of electricity. This application is equipped with functions such as order management, customer management and order history. Abstract

One of the key indicators of the growth of a college is the number of students that are enrolled in the institution on an annual basis. Student enrollment is a crucial element in the growth of a college, particularly in the case of private institutions. When examining students' aspirations for higher education, several studies use data mining techniques to forecast the interests of students who will pursue college. Researchers adopt various ways to extract valuable information from data. Prior research has shown that the decision tree technique outperforms alternative methods. The random forest, in addition to the decision tree, is often used for predicting data mining tasks. Given the above background information, the author will conduct a study titled "Comparative Analysis of Decision Tree and Random Forest Algorithms in Predicting College Interests." According to the study findings, the decision tree outperforms the random forest in terms of outcomes. The accuracy of the decision tree model is 0.81, whereas the accuracy of the Random Forest model is 0.74. All in all, the Decision Tree approach will be used as the ultimate outcome for the implementation of Business Analytics.

Abstract

The conventional manual watering method employed by cultivators often results in uneven watering and inconsistent water levels during each irrigation session. To address this problem, automatic watering tools are commonly adopted that utilize soil moisture sensors for efficient watering. However, challenges arise in dealing with diverse soil conditions across multiple planting media. In response to these challenges, the author proposed the design and development of a soil moisture-based watering device utilizing NodeMCU ESP32 as a microcontroller connected to six soil moisture sensors. This tool aims to provide a solution for watering six different soil media with varying conditions. The system incorporates six solenoid valves to control water channels, with a relay regulating the valve performance. The testing and implementation involve watering each soil medium when the sensor detects humidity levels exceeding 2047 bits. The preliminary tests demonstrated successful operation, particularly with solenoid valve 1 exhibiting consistent performance across ten trials, leading to positive outcomes for all six solenoid valves. Overall, the proposed tool proved effective in watering different soil media, with successful results in eight out of ten trials.
