Abstract

Implementation of mobile web applications has become a key factor in improving organizational performance in the digital era. This research examines the application of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) model in the formulation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for mobile web applications to increase operational effectiveness and efficiency. The Balanced Scorecard, developed by Kaplan and Norton, is a managerial tool that integrates multiple performance perspectives financial, customer, internal processes, and learning and growth in one comprehensive framework. This study focuses on how KPIs designed based on the BSC model can be used to assess and monitor the performance of mobile web applications. The implementation process begins with identifying the organization's strategic objectives and establishing relevant KPIs for each BSC perspective. Next, this research evaluates how these KPIs are applied in the context of mobile web applications and their impact on application performance and user satisfaction. The results of this research show that the use of BSC-based KPIs can increase visibility of mobile web application performance, assist in identifying areas of improvement, and support better strategic decision making. This research also identifies challenges that may be faced in implementing the BSC model in the context of mobile technology and provides recommendations to overcome these challenges.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease characterized by hyperglycemia. In silico studies have been done on flavonoid derivative compounds from the cat's whiskers plant (Orthosiphon stamineus Benth.) on protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (2F70) and aldose reductase enzymes (4YVP and 4YVX) to see if they can be used as diabetes medicines. The molecular docking of the test compounds found three that were more active than the comparison ligands. One of these was the luteolin compound, which can stop the Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase 1B receptor from working with an ∆G value of -8.05 kcal/mol and a Ki value of 1.25 µM by forming amino acid residues. SER A: 216, ARG A: 221, ALA A: 217, VAL A: 490, TYR A: 46, and ASP A: 181 show that the sinensetin compound can stop the aldose reductase enzyme from working, working with a ∆G value of -7.72 kcal/mol and a Ki value of 2.19 µM to form amino acid residues. ALA B: 25, GLU B: 224, LEU B: 54, HIS B: 222, TRP B: 227, and the 6-hydroxy-5,7,4'-trimethoxyflavone compound can stop the aldose reductase enzyme from working (∆G value of -7.02 kcal/mol, Ki 7.14 µM), which creates amino acid residues. HIS B:117, TYR B:55, SER B:217, PHE B:306. Based on the analysis of these compounds, they exhibit good physicochemical and pharmacokinetic profiles. Additionally, the toxicity analysis confirms that none of these compounds are mutagenic, carcinogenic, or harmful to humans.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to estimate the average price of premium-quality rice at the mill level until August 2025. From October to November 2023, the study in Meulaboh, West Aceh Regency, analyzed the price of premium quality rice at the milling level using BPS secondary data. We employed a quantitative descriptive analysis, leveraging time series analysis to uncover trends and forecast future rice prices. Time series data, which tracks changes over time in variables such as production, prices, and sales, helps identify trends, constants, or seasonal patterns. Since the price of premium rice at the milling level consistently increased from January 2022 to August 2023, we classify this data as trend data. The analysis used the exponential smoothing model and the weighted moving average to calculate the expected future prices. The moving average method, based on the analysis of average data, forecasts the mean squared error (MSE), mean absolute deviation (MAD), mean absolute percent error (MAPE), and mean error of estimation (MFE). The moving average method forecasts the average price of premium quality rice from January 2022 to August 2023. Based on the forecast results, there will be fluctuations in accuracy during this period, with MAPE values ranging from 0.015 to 0.094. The dotted line displays the average price results, while the straight line indicates the actual price. The stars indicate the actual price in the forecast graph, which displays the trend of premium rice prices at the milling level. This final assessment shows how well the forecasting model performs and provides information on the trend of premium rice prices to help with future decision-making.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the role of PT. TBBM Tanker Car transportation distribution in distributing fuel oil with its tree logic in realizing a green energy system. The primary focus lies in enhancing the efficiency of transportation distribution to facilitate the utilization of green energy through route enhancements. The study underscores the significance of devising efficient transportation distribution routes and advocating for modifications in the quantity and type of tanker car fleets used in its operations. The Saving Matrix Method yielded results from the improvement of the existing Route 17 Routes to 7 Routes, which showed improvements to 10 routes. Consequently, the efficiency of the 17 routes, which provided 17 tanker cars, was improved to 7 routes, indicating a need for 7 tanker cars. A tanker car with a 32 KL capacity operates on Route 1 from gas stations 16, 15, and 14. A tanker car with a 32 KL capacity operates on Route 2 from gas stations 13, 12, and 11. A tanker car with a 32 KL capacity operates on Route 3 from gas stations 10, 9, and 8. Route 4 operates from gas stations 7 and 6, using a tanker car with a capacity of 24 KL; Route 5 operates from gas stations 4 and 3, using a tanker car with a capacity of 24 KL. Route 6 utilizes a 32 KL tanker car from gas stations 2 and 1, while Route 7 utilizes a 24 KL tanker car from gas stations 17. By utilizing only 7 tanks from 17 tankers, we anticipate a significant reduction in carbon emissions, ensuring environmental sustainability.

Abstract

The number of tempeh industries in West Aceh Regency continues to decrease every year. From 2021 to 2023, the number of tempeh industry units continues to decline annually, reaching just 21. One of the issues identified in this study pertains to raw materials that frequently rot or become unsuitable for use, as well as the management of raw material supply and production costs. Specifically, unstable soybean prices, particularly when the rupiah is weak, can lead to an increase in the price of imported soybeans. This, in turn, can lead to an increase in production costs, thereby reducing the income generated. This study aims to determine how much income is generated by the owner of Mawar tempeh and to see the feasibility of the business using the Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Gross Benefit Cost Ratio (Gross B/C), and Payback Period (PP) methods, and determine sensitivity analysis. Based on the results of the research that has been conducted in Meuruebo District, West Aceh Regency, based on the formulation of the problem in this study, several conclusions were drawn that the income generated is greater than the expenses incurred, and from the feasibility analysis, it shows that the results obtained by the owner of Mawar tempeh are feasible to be run or attempted, and sensitivity analysis in terms of increasing raw material prices.

Abstract

The advancement of technology has transformed the global communication paradigm, particularly in Indonesia, where text-based communication has become a norm. Despite the superior security features and social elements of the Telegram instant messaging application, its popularity falls short of expectations. This research addresses this knowledge gap by employing the UTAUT2 approach, a model focused on individual technology acceptance introduced in 2013. Through quantitative data analysis and online questionnaires, the study engages Telegram users, employing purposive sampling with a minimum usage criterion of 3 months. Out of 160 processed questionnaires using PLS-SEM, only 4 hypotheses proved significant. The results reveal that effort expectancy, hedonic motivation, and user habit have a positive and significant impact on users' interest and usage behavior of the application. Conversely, variables such as performance expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, and price value do not have a significant impact. These findings offer crucial insights for the development of more effective applications aligned with user needs and contribute to understanding the factors influencing the adoption of instant messaging technology, particularly in the context of the Telegram application, in the evolving era of digital communication.
