Abstract

This study aims to overcome this issue by objectively determining the best positions of the soccer players through the application of the Profile Matching technique. The process consists of five steps: GAP values are first determined by comparing each player's unique traits to predetermined benchmarks. Next, compute the primary and secondary standards, establish weighted scores by utilizing the GAP values, compute the GAP values by contrasting specific player attributes with predetermined benchmarks, compute the overall scores, and order players according to their performance. A weighted combination of mental, physical, and skill criteria (30, 40%, and 30%, respectively) determines the final positions. The results demonstrate how effectively this rigorous technique scores the participants. This process offers a logical and objective approach to player selection, enhancing the precision and effectiveness of decision-making in soccer team management.

Abstract

Stroke are known as the second most leading cause of death. Because of this, data mining techniques are already being used to predict patients that may have stroke. Therefore, we are doing a study to try using data mining techniques using RapidMiner to find information or patterns regarding stroke from a dataset obtained from Kaggle. Three data mining techniques are used in this study, that is classification using decision trees, association rule using FP-Growth algorithm, and clustering technique using k-Means algorithm. Using RapidMiner, we are able to process the dataset using the operators provided in the application. As the result, we found out that due to an unbalanced data, the decision tree model made were only able to predict 68,75% patients as having stroke. With the association rule technique, we found out that most attributes in the dataset does not really associated with each other. With the clustering technique, we were able to group up patients and found out that most patients that have stroke are averaged in the age of 58, with 31 bmi, and 201 average glucose level.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease characterized by hyperglycemia. In silico studies have been done on flavonoid derivative compounds from the cat's whiskers plant (Orthosiphon stamineus Benth.) on protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (2F70) and aldose reductase enzymes (4YVP and 4YVX) to see if they can be used as diabetes medicines. The molecular docking of the test compounds found three that were more active than the comparison ligands. One of these was the luteolin compound, which can stop the Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase 1B receptor from working with an ∆G value of -8.05 kcal/mol and a Ki value of 1.25 µM by forming amino acid residues. SER A: 216, ARG A: 221, ALA A: 217, VAL A: 490, TYR A: 46, and ASP A: 181 show that the sinensetin compound can stop the aldose reductase enzyme from working, working with a ∆G value of -7.72 kcal/mol and a Ki value of 2.19 µM to form amino acid residues. ALA B: 25, GLU B: 224, LEU B: 54, HIS B: 222, TRP B: 227, and the 6-hydroxy-5,7,4'-trimethoxyflavone compound can stop the aldose reductase enzyme from working (∆G value of -7.02 kcal/mol, Ki 7.14 µM), which creates amino acid residues. HIS B:117, TYR B:55, SER B:217, PHE B:306. Based on the analysis of these compounds, they exhibit good physicochemical and pharmacokinetic profiles. Additionally, the toxicity analysis confirms that none of these compounds are mutagenic, carcinogenic, or harmful to humans.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to estimate the average price of premium-quality rice at the mill level until August 2025. From October to November 2023, the study in Meulaboh, West Aceh Regency, analyzed the price of premium quality rice at the milling level using BPS secondary data. We employed a quantitative descriptive analysis, leveraging time series analysis to uncover trends and forecast future rice prices. Time series data, which tracks changes over time in variables such as production, prices, and sales, helps identify trends, constants, or seasonal patterns. Since the price of premium rice at the milling level consistently increased from January 2022 to August 2023, we classify this data as trend data. The analysis used the exponential smoothing model and the weighted moving average to calculate the expected future prices. The moving average method, based on the analysis of average data, forecasts the mean squared error (MSE), mean absolute deviation (MAD), mean absolute percent error (MAPE), and mean error of estimation (MFE). The moving average method forecasts the average price of premium quality rice from January 2022 to August 2023. Based on the forecast results, there will be fluctuations in accuracy during this period, with MAPE values ranging from 0.015 to 0.094. The dotted line displays the average price results, while the straight line indicates the actual price. The stars indicate the actual price in the forecast graph, which displays the trend of premium rice prices at the milling level. This final assessment shows how well the forecasting model performs and provides information on the trend of premium rice prices to help with future decision-making.
