Abstract

DM is a chronic metabolic disease characterized by hyperglycemia and cause serious complications with an increasing prevalence rate. Control of risk factors that affect the incidence of DM is needed to prevent the emergence of DM and delay disease complications. The purpose of this study is to determine the risk factors that influence the incidence of type 2 diabetes outpatients at the DKT Bandar Lampung Hospital. This type of research is quantitative observational analytic with a case control approach. The population came from all patients undergoing outpatient treatment at the Internal Medicine Department of the DKT Hospital in Bandar Lampung with 44 case samples and 44 control samples. Data analysis used univariate analysis with percentages, bivariate analysis with Chi Square and multivariate analysis with multiple logistic regression. The results showed that there was a significant influence between the risk factors for age (p value 0.017), hereditary history of diabetes (p value 0.03), physical activity (p value 0.002) and obesity (p value 0.001) with the incidence of type 2 diabetes, while a history of hypertension has no effect on the incidence of type 2 diabetes mellitus (p value 0.135). Meanwhile, the most dominant variable influencing the incidence of outpatient type 2 diabetes mellitus at DKT Bandar Lampung Hospital is physical activity with OR 5.29. Maximum promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative efforts are needed to control risk factors for type 2 diabetes

Abstract

The visual inspection with acetic acid (VIA) test coverage in Bandar Lampung was 53.76% in 2019 and a pre-survey result showed that VIA implementation in Bandar Lampung was not yet optimal. The problem in this research was to do a comparative study on the cervical cancer earlier detection by using VIA method in Bandar Lampung according to the Regulation of Ministry of Health No. 29 in 2017 concerning breast cancer and cervical cancer mitigations. This was a comparative study by using r-test (Pearson Product Moment). The result showed a weak correlation between VIA equipment amounts to VIA test coverage in Bandar Lampung, a strong correlation between trained human resource amount to VIA test coverage in Bandar Lampung, a moderate correlation between numbers of examination and VIA coverage in Bandar Lampung, and moderate correlation between numbers of information technique activities and VIA coverage in Bandar Lampung. The most dominant factor was trained human resources.

This study uses a cross sectional study design. The study population was all Prolanis participants. A sample of 215 people. Data collection using a questionnaire filled directly by respondents, data analysis using logistic regression tests. The results showed there was a relationship of knowledge (p value 0.002. OR 2.5), attitude (p value 0,000. OR 5.29), perception (p value 0,000. OR 3.8), family support (p value 0.003. OR 2 , 4), accessibility (p value 0,000. OR 3,2) with Prolanis participants 'visit to Prolanis Club in Central Lampung Regency in 2020. Attitude is the most dominant factor related to Prolanis participants' visit to Prolanis Club, which has the highest OR value, namely 11,266. Suggestions for the research are expected that health workers carrying out prolanist activities increase their role as educators by providing education about Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension and emphasizing the importance of participating in prolanist activities so as to increase the positive attitude of prolanist participants towards Prolanist activities.

In hospital services, nurses are most vulnerable to stress because they are related to mental safety. Nurse performance is the main factor in determining the success of hospital services. This research design uses explanatory, namely explaining the direct and indirect effects between variables. Research population 135 nurses with precision = 5%, sample (n) of 101. Sampling technique using Probability Sampling, independent variables: Job Stress, Burnout and Emoisonal Intelligence. dependent variable: Organizational Commitment and Nurse Performance. The result of testing the total effect is greater than the direct effect, so the accepted hypothesis shows that the variable organizational commitment can mediate the work stress variable on nurses' performance with a total of = -0.386, the organizational commitment variable can mediate the work fatigue variable on the nurse's performance dg total = -0.280, the commitment variable organizational intelligence can mediate the emotional intelligence variable on the performance of the woman with a total = 0.395.The career success paradigm from Intelligence Quotient (IQ) to Emotional Quotient (EQ) proves that emotional intelligence makes a greater contribution to success and achievement in the workplace compared to intellectual intelligence.
