Abstract

Biaya pengemasan merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam struktur biaya produksi industri makanan, khususnya pada sektor fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) dengan volume produksi tinggi. Penggunaan panjang plastik kemasan yang melebihi kebutuhan aktual produk berpotensi menimbulkan pemborosan material dan meningkatkan biaya pengemasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efisiensi biaya pengemasan melalui optimasi panjang plastik pada industri makanan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan studi kasus pada satu lini pengemasan dan satu jenis produk dengan volume produksi relatif konstan. Analisis distribusi panjang plastik dilakukan menggunakan histogram dan ukuran dispersi untuk mengidentifikasi variasi penggunaan plastik, sedangkan dampak finansial dievaluasi melalui cost comparison analysis dengan membandingkan kondisi sebelum dan sesudah optimasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kondisi awal terdapat variasi panjang plastik yang cukup besar dengan dominasi penggunaan plastik di atas panjang kebutuhan produk. Setelah dilakukan optimasi, distribusi panjang plastik menjadi lebih terkonsentrasi di sekitar nilai kebutuhan produk dan variasi penggunaan plastik menurun. Optimasi panjang plastik tersebut menghasilkan penghematan biaya pengemasan sebesar Rp 2,86 juta per bulan atau lebih dari Rp 34 juta per tahun. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penyesuaian spesifikasi panjang plastik berbasis data aktual dapat menjadi strategi efisiensi biaya pengemasan yang efektif, aplikatif, dan mudah diterapkan pada industri makanan.

Abstract

Waste banks are a form of waste management thataims to reduce environmental and household waste. This studyaims to design a waste bank system that can assist in the management ofwaste collection and the sale of waste. The method used in this research is a qualitative method and observation fordata collection. Thus, waste banks not only play a role inreducing waste but also encourage the community to be more concernedabout the environment. This program helps residents understand the types ofwaste and how to separate waste based on category. Waste banks can be an alternative solution in managing waste. The existence of waste banks makesthe community more concerned about sorting waste that can be recycled andhas economic value, thereby increasing community incomeand creativity in dealing with waste that can be recycled orreused. The result of creating this website is to prevent the accumulation ofwaste and minimize non-biodegradable waste.

Abstract

Road safety is a fundamental element of a safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation system. The high rate of traffic accidents in Indonesia, particularly those caused by physical road conditions and inadequate safety facilities, highlights the need for a proactive and data-driven prevention approach. This study aims to identify potential hazards, analyze accident risk levels, and formulate risk control recommendations on the Gatot Subroto – Serang Raya Road segment using the Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) method. The research was conducted through field surveys, collection of primary and secondary data, identification of road deficiencies, and risk assessment based on the likelihood and severity of impacts. The results show that moderate risk dominates at 56.7%, followed by high risk at 33.3% and low risk at 10%, with no extreme risk identified. The main hazards include pavement damage such as potholes, cracks, and uneven patches, differences in road surface elevation, and malfunctioning safety facilities such as traffic lights. These findings indicate that existing road conditions still pose significant safety risks if not promptly addressed. In conclusion, the application of the HIRA method is effective in systematically mapping risk levels and providing a decision-making basis for relevant authorities to improve road safety in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The development of information technology has driven innovation in digital payment systems, one of which is through the implementation of QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) issued by Bank Indonesia. This study aims to implement a digital system through the use of QR codes, so customers can order directly from the table without having to queue. This digital system was created to simplify the customer ordering and transaction process. The designed solution includes the development of a website application that displays the menu and allows online ordering, integrated with the Point of Sale (POS) system through an API. The system development method uses the waterfall model, including the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. Through this system digitization, customers can scan the QR code at each table to access the menu, order, and make payments. Test results show that the system can run well on various devices and is able to increase transaction efficiency, reduce queues, and minimize errors in recording orders and payments. Thus, the implementation of QRIS in a web-based restaurant menu system has proven effective in supporting the digitalization of transactions and services in the culinary sector.

Abstract

The food and beverage industry is required to produce products with consistent quality, particularly powder-based products that are highly sensitive to process variations. In instant coffee production, the spray drying process plays a critical role in determining the physical quality of the final product, where uncontrolled process parameters may lead to defects such as caking. This study aims to analyze the quality of the spray drying process and to evaluate process stability using a statistical process control (SPC) approach. A quantitative descriptive case study was conducted using production and defect data from January to June 2024. Time-series data were analyzed through defect rate calculation, Pareto analysis to identify dominant causes, cause–effect analysis using the 6M approach, and proportion control charts (p-charts). The results show that defect rates fluctuate across the observation periods, with caking identified as the dominant defect caused by unstable burner temperature, high concentrate brix values, and nozzle clogging. The p-chart analysis indicates that the spray drying process is statistically out of control, highlighting the need for continuous monitoring and control of critical process parameters to reduce variability and prevent recurring defects.

Abstract

The use of intelligent systems in education is increasingly being utilized to support learning processes that adapt to individual student needs. The adaptive learning approach is one application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology that aims to improve the effectiveness and quality of learning, particularly for young learners. This study was conducted to examine the impact of the application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology on adaptive learning in young learners. The research employed a quantitative descriptive approach, with data collection conducted through a quantitative analysis using percentage techniques to illustrate the trends in respondents' perceptions. The results showed that AI-based adaptive learning improved material comprehension, improved learning time efficiency, and improved student engagement in the learning process. However, challenges were identified, including limited digital literacy and potential dependency on technology. In conclusion, AI technology makes a positive contribution to supporting adaptive learning in young learners. However, its use requires careful monitoring and the active role of educators to ensure optimal learning outcomes.

Abstract

PT CCR is a major company in Tangerang Regency that produces various types of coffee beverages, including Tora Cafe Chocolate. However, the production process still encounters problems, particularly a high number of defective products on the packing line. to analyze this issue, this research applied the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC) method, which has been proven effective in reducing the Defects Per Million Opportunities (DPMO) rate and increasing the sigma level of a production process. Based on data from April to June 2025, three primary defects were identified in Tora Cafe Chocolate products: wrinkled packaging, leaking packaging, and improper packaging size referred. The most frequent defect was improper packaging size, accounting for approximately 34.82% of all defects. A root cause analysis was conducted using the 5W+1H framework, examining five key factors: machine, man, material, environment, and method. Prior to improvement, the DPMO value was recorded at 56,274, with a corresponding sigma level of 3.09. Improvement efforts included several initiatives, such as developing a training schedule for operators, performing machine maintenance and repair, creating a specialized control form for the packing machine, maintaining workplace cleanliness, enhancing quality supervision, and modifying equipment After implementing these improvements from July to September 2025, significant results were achieved. The sigma level increased to 3.68, while the DPMO value decreased to 15.146 per million production.

Abstract

The management of facility damage complaints at Universitas Tangerang Raya previously ran conventionally using logbooks and WhatsApp, causing data accumulation, lost files, and slow response times. This study aims to design a web-based Ticketing Helpdesk application as a single point of contact for campus infrastructure reporting. The system development methodology used is Waterfall, which includes requirements analysis, design, coding based on the Laravel framework and MySQL database, and functional testing using Black Box Testing. The efficiency analysis results indicate that the implementation of the new system significantly cuts complaint handling time from an average of 3 days (72 hours) to only 8 hours, equivalent to an 88.89% efficiency increase. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) results using a dichotomy scale questionnaire administered to the Sarpras Division staff also showed an absolute feasibility rate of 100%. In conclusion, the helpdesk ticketing application on the https://helpdesk.untara.ac.id domain successfully automates manual bureaucracy into a transparent, accountable, and stable digital administration system to support academic service quality.

Abstract

The Puncak area, particularly in Megamendung and Cisarua Subdistricts, is one of the main transportation corridors in Bogor Regency, serving both as a major tourist destination and as a regional connector. High traffic volumes, especially during weekends and holiday seasons, often result in severe congestion, leading to increased vehicle operating costs, excessive fuel consumption, longer travel times, and reduced user comfort. One potential solution is the widening of alternative roads; however, such an investment requires a comprehensive economic feasibility study to ensure that the benefits outweigh the costs. This study aims to evaluate the economic feasibility of widening alternative roads in the Puncak area using a cost–benefit analysis framework. The methods applied include the calculation of Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). The data analyzed cover construction investment costs, vehicle operating costs (VOC), travel time savings (value of time), and other potential economic benefits. The results indicate that the proposed project yields a positive NPV, a BCR greater than 1, and an IRR exceeding the reference interest rate, demonstrating that the road widening project is economically feasible. Nevertheless, social, environmental, and spatial planning aspects should also be considered to ensure sustainable implementation.

Abstract

Predicting final exam scores is crucial for evaluating and improving academic performance. This study applies the linear regression method in data mining to predict final exam results based on factors influencing student performance. The methodology employed is the Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM), comprising business understanding, data understanding, data preparation, modeling, evaluation, and deployment. This study utilizes the public dataset student_performance.csv, consisting of 395 records and 33 attributes. Through an attribute selection process using a correlation matrix, 7 predictor attributes with the most significant impact on the label were selected. The data mining process was executed using RapidMiner. This research yielded the linear regression equation model : y = 0,729 – (0,024 x medu) – (0,020 x Fedu) + (0,053 x failures) – (0,077 x gout) – (0,012 x absences) + (0,126 x G1) + (0,862 x G2). The model performance evaluation resulted in a Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) of 0.675. Based on these results, the developed linear regression model demonstrates good accuracy and is highly recommended for predicting student exam scores.
